Description
また上記請求項1の構成によれば、空気排出口の上方部の空気排出量は空気排出口の下方部の空気排出量よりも多いので、回転軸線より上方の車輪の外側側面に於ける走行風の剥離の度合が高い領域に対する空気の噴射量を多くすることができ、従って空気排出口の上方部の空気排出量及び空気排出口の下方部の空気排出量が同一又は上記とは逆の関係である場合に比して、車輌の空力特性を効果的に向上させることができる。
本発明の一つの好ましい態様によれば、上記請求項1の構成に於いて、前記領域に対向する部位は車輌の前端部の部位であるよう構成される(好ましい態様1)。

Claims (2)
- 空気導入口及び空気排出口を備えた空気通路を有し、前記空気導入口は車輌の前進走行時に気圧が大気圧よりも高くなる領域に対向する部位に設けられ、前記空気排出口は車輪の前方にて車輪の回転軸線より上方に設けられ、回転軸線より上方の車輪の外側側面に対し空気を排出し、前記空気排出口の上方部の空気排出量は前記空気排出口の下方部の空気排出量よりも多いことを特徴とする車輌の空力特性向上装置。
- 前記空気通路に設けられ、前記空気導入口と前記空気排出口との間の連通、非連通を制御する弁装置を有し、車輌が横風を受ける状況に於いて風上側の前記弁装置は前記空気導入口と前記空気排出口との間を非連通にすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車輌の空力特性向上装置。
