Description
【0001】

[Industrial application fields]
The present invention has the advantages of a strut-type suspension with a small number of parts and a small and simple structure, and has a high degree of freedom in geometric design for camber changes and the advantage of a double wishbone suspension that can make the kingpin offset relatively small. And a suspension device having both.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, this type of suspension device includes an upper arm, a lower arm, and a strut. The lower end of the strut is rotatably connected to the lower arm, and the inner end of the upper arm is rotatably connected to the strut. The lower end of the strut and the lower arm And a rotation axis between the lower arm and the vehicle body side member are arranged in a substantially vehicle front-rear direction (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
[0003]
According to such a suspension device, for example, when attention is given to the moment when bounce or rebound occurs due to pitching, the strut has a straight line passing through the strut upper end and perpendicular to the axis connecting the strut and the strut lower end center, and the strut lower end. Rotation motion is performed around the intersection of the vehicle inner side and the straight line parallel to the rotation axis of the lower arm and the vehicle body side member, that is, the instantaneous rotation center on the rear side of the vehicle. Move larger than the rear side. On the other hand, the lower arm rotates about the rotation axis between the inner end of the lower arm and the vehicle body side member. The rotation axis of the lower arm with respect to the lower end of the strut is the coupling axis between the inner end of the lower arm and the vehicle body side member. When parallel in a plan view, the vehicle front side and the rear side move by the same amount. That is, at the joint between the lower end of the strut and the lower arm, the movement of the lower end of the strut may not match the movement of the lower arm.
[0004]
[Patent Document 1]
JP-A-5-155215, [0002]
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the above-described conventional suspension device, the lower end of the strut is rotatably connected to the lower arm and the inner end of the upper arm is rotatably connected to the strut. For example, if the movement of the lower end of the strut and the movement of the lower arm do not coincide with each other at the joint, the lower arm twists every time a bounce or rebound occurs and the durability decreases or the strut has a large bending moment. It may occur and the smooth stroke of the struts may be hindered and the ride comfort may deteriorate. For this reason, in such a suspension device, an elastic body such as a relatively soft bush is generally arranged at the joint between the lower end of the strut and the lower arm. However, if the elastic body is set to be soft, camber rigidity and casters are set. There is a problem that various rigidity such as rigidity is reduced.
Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned unsolved problems of the prior art, and provides a suspension device that can improve various rigidity such as camber rigidity and caster rigidity without impairing durability and riding comfort. Is an issue.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, a suspension device of the present invention has a lower arm inner end rotatably coupled to a vehicle body side member and an outer end of the lower arm coupled to a wheel support member so as to be able to rotate and swing. The lower end of the strut is rotatably coupled, and the upper end of the strut is coupled to the vehicle body side member so that the strut can rotate and swing so that the strut is inclined toward the rear of the vehicle, and the inner end of the upper arm is pivotally attached to the strut. A suspension device in which an outer end of an upper arm is coupled to the wheel support member so as to be capable of rotating and swinging, and a rotation axis between the lower end of the strut and the lower arm and a rotation axis between the lower arm and the vehicle body side member are substantially And the inclination of the rotating shaft of the lower end of the strut and the lower arm toward the vehicle inner side on the vehicle rear side is defined as the lower arm and the lower arm. It is characterized in that it has greater than the slope of the vehicle inside at the vehicle rear side of the rotational axis of the body side member.
[0007]
【The invention's effect】
Therefore, in the suspension device of the present invention, the inclination of the rotating shaft between the lower end of the strut and the lower arm toward the vehicle inner side on the vehicle rear side is determined by the vehicle on the vehicle rear side of the rotating shaft between the lower arm and the vehicle body side member. For example, if bounce or rebound occurs due to pitching, the strut rotates around the center of instantaneous rotation at the rear of the vehicle, and the lower end of the strut moves more largely on the front side of the vehicle than on the rear side. Due to the rotational movement of the lower arm centering on the rotational axis between the inner end of the lower arm and the vehicle body side member, the rotational axis of the lower arm with the lower end of the strut also moves more largely on the front side of the vehicle than the rear side. And lower the lower arm torsion to improve durability. To reduce the bending moment generated in the struts, it uses the information to improve ride comfort by the stroke of the struts smoothly. Further, when durability and riding comfort are improved, the connection state between the lower end of the strut and the lower arm can be hardened, and various rigidity such as camber rigidity and caster rigidity can be improved.
