Description
Claims (11)
- 携帯型電子装置(10)のタッチスクリーン(14)上で使用される動き入力装置であって、
前記携帯型電子装置に前記動き入力装置を固定し、上面及び底面を有し、前記タッチスクリーンの少なくとも一部分上に設置されるように配置される、固定ユニット(16)と、
前記固定ユニットに固定され、展開するユーザ入力ユニット(18)と、を備え、
前記ユーザ入力ユニットは、
前記固定ユニットの上面から突出し、前記固定ユニットの上面及び底面に少なくとも略垂直な軸(X)周りにある回転角度で自在に角動きを実現するためにユーザが操作できるユーザ操作部(26)と、
前記固定ユニットの底面から突出するタッチスクリーンコンタクト部(28;36)と、を有し、このタッチスクリーンコンタクト部は、前記動き入力装置が前記タッチスクリーン上に使用用に設置されると、前記ユーザ操作部のユーザの操作に従って、少なくとも前記軸X周りにおけるコンタクト位置の回転角度が前記軸X周りにおける前記ユーザ操作部の回転角度に対応する位置において前記タッチスクリーンにコンタクトするように配置され、前記ユーザ操作部の前記角動きを含む前記ユーザ入力ユニットの動きが、前記タッチスクリーン上で検出される、ことを特徴とする動き入力装置。 - 前記ユーザ操作部及び前記タッチスクリーンコンタクト部は、前記固定ユニットにおいて固定される固定部(30)によって結合される一方で、前記軸周りに自由な動きを許容することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の動き入力装置。
- 前記タッチスクリーンコンタクト部(28)は、前記スクリーンに直接コンタクトするピン(34)を備え、前記軸Xからのタッチスクリーンコンタクト部についての半径方向の動きが前記ユーザ操作部の半径方向の動きに相当するようになされることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の動き入力装置。
- 前記タッチスクリーンコンタクト部はまた、前記ピンが前記タッチスクリーンとコンタクトするように設けられたスプリング(32)を備えることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の動き入力装置。
- 前記タッチスクリーンコンタクト部(36)は、前記ユーザ操作部の操作に従って前記スクリーンの前記軸から一定距離において前記スクリーンとコンタクトする、リムを有するディスクを備えることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の動き入力装置。
- 前記ディスクは放物面形状を有していることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のユーザ入力装置。
- タッチスクリーン上におけるユーザからの入力を検出するタッチスクリーン(14)を有する本体部と、
前記タッチスクリーン上において用いられる動き入力装置と、を備え、
この動き入力装置は、前記本体部上に前記動き入力装置を固定するための、上面と底面を有する固定ユニット(16)であって、前記タッチスクリーンの少なくとも一部上に配置される、固定ユニットと、前記固定ユニットに固定され、展開するユーザ入力ユニット(18)と、を有し、
前記ユーザ入力ユニットは、
前記固定ユニットの前記上面から突出し、前記固定ユニットの前記上面及び前記底面に少なくとも略垂直な軸(X)周りにある回転角で自在に角度動きするようにユーザが操作することができるユーザ操作部(26)と、
前記固定ユニットの前記底面から突出するタッチスクリーンコンタクト部(28)と、を有し、
前記動き入力装置が前記タッチスクリーン上に使用のため配置され、前記ユーザ操作部のユーザによる操作があった場合、前記タッチスクリーンコンタクト部は、少なくとも前記軸X周りにおけるコンタクトポジションの回転角度が前記軸X周りにおける前記ユーザ操作部の回転角度に対応する位置において前記タッチスクリーンにコンタクトするように配置され、前記ユーザ操作部の前記角動きを含む前記ユーザ入力ユニットの動きが、前記タッチスクリーン上で検出されるようになされる、
ことを特徴とする携帯型電子装置(10)。 - さらに、ユーザからの入力の位置を判定する入力判定ユニット(40)を備えることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の携帯型電子装置。
- 前記固定ユニットは、前記本体部に回転可能なように接続されることを特徴とする請求項7又は8に記載の携帯型電子装置。
- 前記本体部は、さらに、前記固定ユニットが前記タッチスクリーン上で前記動き入力装置からの入力を提供するための位置にあるか否かを検知するように配置された固定ユニット検知装置を備えることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の携帯型電子装置。
- 前記携帯型電子装置は、携帯電話であることを特徴とする請求項7乃至10の何れか1項に記載の携帯型電子装置。
