Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a novel shape of dental floss as an interdental cleaning tool.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As shown in FIG. 4, the conventional dental floss is basically formed by forming a bifurcated U-shaped floss holding portion 11 at the tip of the handle 10 and stretching the floss 12 between the floss holding portions 11. It is a shape. Conventionally, in order to increase the added value of dental floss, the tip of the handle 10 is tapered to be used as a toothpick, or a brush is planted at the tip of the handle 10 to be used as a toothbrush. Some have been devised to facilitate replacement of the floss 12 or to include a configuration that can adjust the tension.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, the most important function required for dental floss is to improve the cleanability between teeth. For this purpose, not only the front teeth but also the back teeth, the floss 12 must be easily inserted between the teeth, and the handle 10 must have good operability.
[0004]
However, in the conventional dental floss, the floss holding portion 11 has the same length at both ends 11a and 11b, and the length of the floss holding portion 11 when the floss 12 is inserted closest to the gums between the teeth. Therefore, the floss holding part 11 becomes large as a whole. For this reason, it has been difficult to insert the floss 12 in a portion where the jaw opening is small and the oral cavity space is narrow, that is, the back teeth. Further, when brushing the back teeth, there is a problem that it is difficult to ensure a sufficient stroke, for example, the floss holding portion 11 hits the tongue or the inner cheek. In other words, the conventional dental floss lacks consideration for the cleanability of the back teeth.
[0005]
Further, in the conventional dental floss, since the handle 10 has a thin rod shape, the operability at the back teeth, which are difficult to clean, such as finger force is difficult to enter and careless rotation is remarkable. Further, the handle 10 is easily bent, and the cleaning effect in the bent state is not necessarily sufficient.
[0006]
In this respect, the present invention does not completely deny the additional structure for increasing the added value of dental floss, but its main purpose is to improve the basic functions of the dental floss described above, that is, cleanability and operability. More preferably, the object is to provide consumers with dental floss that is inexpensive and easy to purchase.
[0007]
In addition to the conventional dental floss in which the floss 12 and the handle 10 shown in FIG. 4 are parallel, as shown in FIG. 5 , the floss holding portion 11 so that the floss 12 is orthogonal to the handle 10. There is a so-called Y-shaped one, but this Y-shaped one does not eliminate the above-mentioned conventional problems, but rather has the inconvenience of brushing by the left and right movement of the wrist due to the structure. Therefore, the structure in which the floss 12 and the handle 10 are in such a relationship is not a place planned for the present invention.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The means taken by the present invention to achieve the above-described object is that one of the two-branch floss holding portions that stretch the floss is projected longer than the other, and the floss is stretched between the tips of the floss holding portions. It is set up. According to this means, a triangle is formed by the floss and the floss holding part, and the apex, that is, the angle formed by the floss and the projecting side floss holding part is an acute angle, so that insertion and cleaning in a narrow place are easy and reliable. It becomes.
[0009]
Further, the floss holding part was integrally extended from the both ends in the width direction of the plate-like tab part in the direction along the longitudinal direction of the tab part, and the same width as the tab part was used. The plate-like knob part is easy to receive finger force and does not rotate.
[0010]
In addition, a through-hole that can be hooked on a hook or the like is provided in the knob portion in consideration of ease of storage. Furthermore, minute provided with through holes, Ru can reduce the materials used.
[0011]
Further, according to the second aspect of the present invention, there is used a means in which a saw blade is provided on the outer surface of the projecting side floss holding portion in a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction. The saw-like blade by this means improves the design and aesthetics of dental floss and functions as a finger restraint, and the frictional force prevents finger slipping during brushing. Of course, the tip of the blade has a shape that does not damage the finger or the like.
[0012]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of the present invention, in which a plate-like knob portion 1 and a holding portion 3 for a floss 2 are integrally formed of plastic. In the figure, 4 is a through hole formed in the knob portion 1 for hooking the dental floss on a hook or the like when not in use.
[0013]
The floss holding portion 3 is formed in a bifurcated shape to stretch the floss 2, but in the present embodiment, one of the three sides protrudes longer than the other 3 b. On the other hand, the floss 2 is stretched between the tips of the floss holding part 3 so that the angle formed with the projecting side floss holding part 3a is an acute angle. In the case of this embodiment, the floss 2 is embedded and fixed in the floss holding portion 3 when the knob portion 1 and the floss holding portion 3 are integrally formed, as shown in FIG. However, the method of stretching the floss 2 is not limited to this, and a conventionally known technique such as forming a cut groove in the floss holding portion 3 and locking the floss 2 in an exchangeable manner can be employed.
[0014]
Here, the dimensions given as an example of the dental floss of this embodiment are as follows: a circular arc part 5 having a radius of 13 mm is provided at the rear end of the knob part 1 having a thickness of 2 mm, and the projecting side floss is held at 52 mm from the center of the circular arc part. The tip of the part 3a is located at the tip of the other floss holding part 3b at 27.75 mm. Each of the floss holding portions 3a and 3b has a width of 5.5 mm, and an elliptical arc is formed at the root of the floss holding portion 3. In particular, in the protruding side floss holding part 3a, a bent part 6 having an inclination of 40 degrees is extended inward to protect the oral cavity. The floss 2 is stretched so as to form an angle of 30 degrees with the projecting side floss holding portion 3a. The through hole 4 has a radius of 7 mm and is formed concentrically with the arc portion 5. In addition, the said numerical value is an example to the last, and, of course, it is not necessary to limit the dental floss of this invention to the said dimension.
[0015]
According to the dental floss having the above configuration, the lower tooth is used with the floss 2 facing downward, and the upper tooth with the floss 2 facing upward. Even on the side, the floss 2 is stretched so as to gradually expand from the tip of the projecting side floss holding part 3a, and the apex of the triangle formed thereby is an acute angle. Can be inserted to the side. Further, even during cleaning, the other floss holding portion 3b is short in depth, so that it does not interfere with the tongue, inner cheek, and other teeth, and a sufficient stroke is ensured. The same applies to the cleaning of the front teeth. Furthermore, compared with the case where the floss 2 is horizontally stretched with respect to the floss holding portion 3 of the same length as in the conventional case, the floss 2 is obliquely stretched on the floss holding portion 3 of the different level. Since the length becomes long, the stroke length can be kept large.
[0016]
Moreover, since the knob part 1 is plate-shaped, it is easy for a finger to enter, and on the other hand, there is no rotation or bending, which contributes to stable and improved operability and enables reliable cleaning. Furthermore, the through-holes 4 penetrating the knob portion 1 ensure storage when the dental floss is not used, and if the size is as shown in the present embodiment, the reduction in the resin used is significant and low cost. Contribute to. Further, through holes 4 also becomes caught finger, it is possible to obtain an improvement in operability such can be stroke slight force.
[0017]
By the way, as a method of using the dental floss, there is a method of pinching the floss holding portion 3 with a thumb and an index finger in addition to pinching the knob portion 1. In the latter case, a force easily enters the protruding side floss holding portion 3a. However, as shown in FIG. 3, a saw perpendicular to the longitudinal direction is formed on the outer surface of the protruding side floss holding portion 3a. A shaped blade 7 may be provided. Therefore, the floss holding portion 3 can be firmly pinched by the frictional force of the saw blade 7 during cleaning. In addition, the saw-toothed blade 7 becomes an accent and contributes to enhancing the design of dental floss.
[0018]
In addition, the floss 2 to be used can be prepared in a plurality of thicknesses according to the interdental size of the user, and further, if a tape-like thing having a certain width is used, the cleaning effect is improved. I can expect.
[0020]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, although it has a very simple configuration, there is an advantage that cannot be obtained by the conventional method, particularly in cleaning between the back teeth, and the cleaning effect is remarkable. In addition, by making the knob part into a plate shape, the operability of the dental floss is stabilized and improved, contributing to a reliable cleaning effect. In addition, the through-hole provided in the knob part is not only easy to store and can be operated easily as a finger caught, but even if the knob part is plate-shaped, the material used is reduced by the amount of the through-hole. There is also an effect that the dental floss can be provided at a low price without being inferior to the product.
