Description
The present invention relates to a transmission device that converts various types of client signals transmitted mainly from client terminals into communication signals of communication carriers, and a reception device that restores communication signals of communication carriers to appropriate types of client signals. The present invention relates to a transmission method, a reception method, a transmission program, and a reception program.
また近年では、このSDH信号をもクライアント信号として収容可能なOTN(Optical Transport Network)網の検討も進められている。
At this time, in order to efficiently accommodate the client signal in the carrier management frame of the backbone network and suppress waste of the transmission capacity of the backbone network, the client signal is once terminated and communicated according to the rules determined for each type of client signal. It is necessary to map to the operator management frame. In the conventional technique, an interface board corresponding to the type of client signal is prepared, and when the client signal is changed, the interface board is replaced.
However, in recent years, the use of SDH signals in user networks, the increase of IP traffic such as IEEE 802.3 signals, OTN signals (which means OTN signals of the standard shown in Non-Patent

The present invention relates to a procedure for receiving a plurality of types of client signals from the client terminal in a computer of a transmission device connected to a client terminal and a transmission device of a telecommunications carrier, and a signal included in the received client signal. Corresponding from the procedure for identifying type information, the frame generation rule stored in advance for each type information mapping the client signal to the carrier management frame transmitted by the transmission device according to the identified type information Procedure for selecting the frame generation rule, and the transmission device management frame generated by mapping the client signal and the type information to the communication carrier management frame received according to the selected frame generation rule Is a signal transmission program for executing .
The present invention relates to a procedure for receiving a communication carrier management frame from the transmission device in a computer of a transmission device connected to a transmission device and a client terminal of the communication carrier, and the communication carrier management from the communication carrier management frame receiving circuit. Receiving the frame, and reading the type information indicating the type of the client signal used in the client terminal included in the carrier management frame, and storing the type information in advance according to the read type information A procedure for selecting the corresponding frame cancellation rule from a frame cancellation rule for canceling the carrier management frame, and the carrier management received from the carrier management frame receiving circuit according to the selected frame cancellation rule Release the frame and generate the client signal to generate the client terminal A signal receiving program for executing the procedures, to be transmitted.
According to the present invention, the transmission device receives a plurality of types of client signals from the client terminal, and identifies the type information of the signals included in the received client signals. Then, a frame generation rule corresponding to the identified type information is read from a storage area that is stored in advance, and the client signal and the type information are mapped to the communication carrier management frame according to the read frame generation rule to manage the communication carrier. The frame is generated and transmitted to the transmission device. Therefore, when an unknown client signal is received, it is possible to automatically identify the type and generate a communication carrier management frame according to a frame generation rule corresponding to the type. Accordingly, it is possible to map to the carrier management frame without having to convert the interface for each type of client signal. This also makes it possible to reduce the operation management cost of the interface board.
According to the present invention, the transmission device is configured to read the management information included in the client signal and output the management information to the outside. Therefore, the communication carrier can refer to the management information of the client signal. As a result, alarm information and the like notified by the client signal can be obtained, the cause at the time of failure occurrence can be identified and quick recovery can be performed, and high-quality communication can be provided.
Further, according to the present invention, the transmission device identifies the transmission rate of the received client signal, and the client signal is transmitted from the frame synchronization rule corresponding to the combination of the client signal type information and the transmission rate stored in advance. The frame synchronization rule that can be synchronized with the person frame is kept selected until it can be synchronized. Then, the type information and transmission rate corresponding to the selected frame synchronization rule at the time of synchronization are output as the type information of the client signal, and mapping to the communication carrier frame is performed according to the type information. Therefore, it becomes possible to automatically identify the client signal type that can synchronize the transmission signal of the client signal.
Further, according to the present invention, the SDH signal, the OTN signal, the IEEE 802.3 signal, and the fiber channel signal are stored as the type information of the client signal, and the frame synchronization rule is set for each type of the signal and its transmission speed. I remember it. Then, the transmission rate to be synchronized is identified, the type of the client signal at that time is identified, and the signal type specified by the transmission rate and type is output. Therefore, it becomes possible to automatically identify the signal type to which the client signal corresponds.
According to the present invention, when the type information of the client signal indicates an OTN signal, the error correction type information included in the header of the client signal is read, and the error correction corresponding to the error correction type information is canceled. Map client signals to carrier management frames. Then, when generating the communication carrier management frame, the error correction type information is written in the header of the communication carrier management frame. Therefore, when the client signal is an OTN signal, error correction type information can be removed at the time of transmission, so that signal accommodation efficiency can be improved regardless of the type of error correction code.
Further, according to the present invention, the receiving device receives the communication carrier management frame from the transmission device of the communication carrier, and indicates the type of the client signal used by the client terminal included in the communication carrier management frame. Read information. Then, the corresponding frame cancellation rule is selected from the frame cancellation rules for canceling the carrier management frame for each type of client signal type information stored in advance according to the read type information. According to the selected frame release rule, the carrier management frame received from the carrier management frame receiving circuit is released, and a client signal is generated and transmitted to the client terminal. Therefore, it is possible to automatically identify the type of the client signal received by the transmission device from the communication carrier management frame and reproduce it to the original client signal.
According to the present invention, the receiving device reads the error correction type information included in the header of the carrier management frame when the type information included in the carrier management frame indicates an OTN signal. When the carrier management frame is canceled, the client signal subjected to error correction according to the read error correction type information is reproduced. Therefore, when the client signal is an OTN signal, the error correction type information removed at the time of transmission can be reproduced and transmitted to the client terminal.

FIG. 2 is a diagram showing rules when the
Examples of the client signal of the present embodiment include an SDH signal, a standard FEC OTN signal, a super FEC OTN signal, an IEEE 802.3 signal, and a fiber channel signal. On the other hand, the destination carrier management frame to be mapped is an ODU (Optical Data Unit) frame of the OTN signal.
As shown in the figure, in the case of an SDH signal, an ODU frame is generated as it is and an ODU frame is generated. In the case of an OTN signal of Standard FEC and Super FEC, FEC (Forward Error Correction) is canceled to form an ODU frame. Here, the reason for canceling the FEC is to enable efficient signal accommodation regardless of the FEC type of the client signal.
In the case of IEEE 802.3 and Fiber Channel signals, GFP framing is performed according to the GFP scheme shown in Non-Patent Document 4 in order to map to the ODU frame of the OTN signal to generate an ODU frame.
By converting all types of client signals into ODU frames, the multiplexing
FIG. 3 is a diagram showing a rule when the
In the case of the SDH signal, since the SDH signal is directly mapped to the payload of the ODU frame, the SDH signal can be reproduced by taking it out from the payload of the ODU frame. In the case of Standard FEC and Super FEC OTN signals, the information read from the payload of the ODU frame is subjected to the FEC applied to the original client signal to reproduce the signal. In the case of IEEE 802.3 and Fiber Channel signals, the IEEE 802.3 signal and the Fiber Channel signal can be reproduced by extracting the GFP frame from the payload of the ODU frame and further extracting it from the payload of the GFP frame.

With reference to FIGS. 6 and 7, client signal type information identification processing performed in the client
FIG. 7 is a flowchart showing identification processing in the frame synchronization
Next, when it is determined in step S1 that the transmission speed is not the SDH signal, it is determined whether the transmission speed is the OTN signal (step S3). In the case of the transmission speed of the OTN signal, it is determined whether synchronization with the OTN frame is possible (step S4). When synchronizing with the OTN signal, it is determined to be an OTN signal of the detected transmission rate and output. If not synchronized, an alarm is output as frame unknown.
Next, if it is determined in step S3 that the transmission speed is not the OTN signal, it is determined whether the transmission speed is the IEEE 802.3 signal (step S5). In the case of the transmission rate of the IEEE 802.3 signal, it is determined whether to synchronize with the frame of the IEEE 802.3 signal (step S6). When synchronizing with the IEEE 802.3 signal, it is determined that the signal is an IEEE 802.3 signal at the detected transmission rate and output. If not synchronized, an alarm is output as frame unknown.
Finally, when it is determined in step S5 that the transmission speed is not the IEEE 802.3 signal, it is determined whether the transmission speed is the fiber channel signal (step S7). In the case of the transmission rate of the fiber channel signal, it is determined whether or not to synchronize with the fiber channel signal frame (step S8). When synchronizing with the fiber channel signal frame, it is determined that the fiber channel signal has the detected transmission rate. If not synchronized, an alarm is output as frame unknown. In step S7, if it does not correspond to the transmission rate of the fiber channel signal, an alarm is output as clock synchronization is impossible.
When an alarm is output, the operator of the communication carrier contacts the user of the client terminal and individually takes measures to take measures such as avoiding the alarm.
図8においてFA OH(Frame Alignment OverHead)及び、OTUk OH(Optical Transport Unit k OverHead、kは、多重されている中のk番目を意味する)の箇所がOTN信号のヘッダとなる。
FA OHは、さらにFAS(Frame Alignment Signal)とMFAS(Multi Frame Alignment Signal)から構成されている。OTUk OHは、SM(Section Monitoring)、GCC0(General Communication Channel 0)、RES(Reserved)から構成されている。
If the client signal is an OTN signal, the FEC is canceled and mapped without mapping the client signal as it is. At this time, which part of the OTN frame is used to transmit / receive the information of the used error correction type will be described below with reference to FIGS.
The Reed-Solomon (255, 239) code is standardized as an error correction type in the OTN signal, but there are cases where the vendor of the transmission apparatus uses its own error correction. Therefore, the
8 and 9 are diagrams showing frames of the OTN signal. In FIG. 8, the location of FA OH (Frame Alignment OverHead) and OTUk OH (Optical Transport Unit k OverHead, k means the kth among the multiplexed signals) is the header of the OTN signal. OTUkFEC of 3825 bytes to 4060 bytes of the OTN frame is FEC information for the kth unit of the OTU. The payload from 15 bytes to 3824 bytes is the actual data write data.
The FA OH is further composed of FAS (Frame Alignment Signal) and MFAS (Multi Frame Alignment Signal). The OTUk OH is composed of SM (Section Monitoring), GCC0 (General Communication Channel 0), and RES (Reserved).
In the OTN frame, the FA OH portion shown in FIG. 9 is not scrambled, and therefore, when error correction information is set in the FA OH portion, it can be read as it is. However, when the RES byte part of the OTUk OH is used, the RES byte part is scrambled and thus needs to be descrambled. Although it is possible to read the error correction type from the RES byte after descrambling, it is also possible to read and discriminate only a part having the information of the error correction type from the viewpoint of improving the operation speed. Since this scrambling is a pattern determined according to the position from the head of the OTN frame, the identification information can be read out by pattern matching.
FIG. 10 is a diagram showing an example of writing when the above-described scrambled RES byte portion is used, and FIG. 11 is a diagram of reading when only the scrambled RES byte portion is descrambled. It is the figure which showed the example. Since the scramble pattern is fixedly determined, it is possible to partially scramble and descramble with the fixed scramble pattern as shown in the figure.
