Description
また、本発明の液晶表示装置の製造方法は、アレイ基板に配向膜を形成し、ラビングを実施して前記配向膜に方向性を付けた後、前記アレイ基板にパネル領域となる複数個の第1のシール枠を形成する工程と、前記複数個の第1のシール枠の外側に全体を閉じた第2のシール枠を形成する工程と、前記第1のシール枠の内部と,前記第1のシール枠間に形成される中央通路と,複数個の前記第1のシール枠と前記第2のシール枠との間の外周通路とに液晶を滴下する工程と、前記液晶を滴下された前記アレイ基板とカラーフィルター基板を真空雰囲気中で貼り合わせる工程と、前記真空雰囲気を解除し、前記第1のシール枠および前記第2のシール枠を本硬化させた後、前記パネル領域に切断し、洗浄する工程とを含んで構成される。

Claims (5)
- アレイ基板に配向膜を形成し、ラビングを実施して前記配向膜に方向性を付けた後、前記アレイ基板にパネル領域となる1個の第1のシール枠を形成する工程と、前記第1のシール枠の外側に全体を閉じた第2のシール枠を形成する工程と、前記第1のシール枠の内部と,前記第1のシール枠と前記第2のシール枠との間の外周通路とに液晶を滴下する工程と、前記液晶を滴下された前記アレイ基板とカラーフィルター基板を真空雰囲気中で貼り合わせる工程と、前記真空雰囲気を解除し、前記第1のシール枠および前記第2のシール枠を本硬化させた後、前記パネル領域に切断し、洗浄する工程とを含むことを特徴とする液晶表示装置の製造方法。
- アレイ基板に配向膜を形成し、ラビングを実施して前記配向膜に方向性を付けた後、前記アレイ基板にパネル領域となる複数個の第1のシール枠を形成する工程と、前記複数個の第1のシール枠の外側に全体を閉じた第2のシール枠を形成する工程と、前記第1のシール枠の内部と,前記第1のシール枠間に形成される中央通路と,複数個の前記第1のシール枠と前記第2のシール枠との間の外周通路とに液晶を滴下する工程と、前記液晶を滴下された前記アレイ基板とカラーフィルター基板を真空雰囲気中で貼り合わせる工程と、前記真空雰囲気を解除し、前記第1のシール枠および前記第2のシール枠を本硬化させた後、前記パネル領域に切断し、洗浄する工程とを含むことを特徴とする液晶表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記中央通路および前記外周通路に滴下された液晶は、前記真空雰囲気中でも前記第2のシール枠の内部に留まっていることを特徴とする請求項1もしくは請求項2に記載の液晶表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記液晶の滴下は、表示部を形成する前記パネル領域と表示部外になる通路とに、同時に滴下されることを特徴とする請求項1もしくは請求項2に記載の液晶表示装置の製造方法。
- アレイ基板およびカラーフィルター基板をそれぞれ洗浄し、乾燥させる工程と、前記アレイ基板および前記カラーフィルター基板に配向膜を塗布印刷する工程と、前記両基板の前記配向膜を焼成する工程と、前記両基板に方向性を付けるためのラビングを行う工程と、前記両基板に対してラビング洗浄を行い、乾燥させる工程と、前記アレイ基板に対し、表示部となる第1のシール枠および前記第1のシール枠全てを囲む第2のシール枠を形成する工程と、前記第1のシール枠の内部と前記第1のシール枠の外部且つ前記第2のシール枠内部の領域に液晶を滴下する工程と、前記カラーフィルター基板にスペーサを散布し、固着させる工程と、前記両基板をそれぞれ真空チャンバー内に移送する工程と、前記真空チャンバー内で真空引きし、前記両基板を貼り合わせる工程と、前記真空チャンバーの真空破壊を行い、貼り合わせた前記両基板を取り出す工程と、前記アレイ基板における前記第1,第2のシール枠の本硬化を行う工程と、貼り合わせた前記両基板をパネル領域ごとに切断する工程と、切断した前記パネル領域の周囲に残存する液晶を洗浄する工程とを含むことを特徴とする液晶表示装置の製造方法。
