【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は内燃機関のエンジンに取付ける点火プラグの固定用レンチに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来のマグネットを利用したプラグレンチはマグネットが固く脆いので、けたり、割れが入り易く破片がエンジンの中に入り込む危険性がある。またマグネットとプラグとが少し離れるとプラグが脱落してしまう。又ラバーを利用したものは経年変化を起こし長期間の使用に耐えない。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明の課題は、確実にプラグをレンチ本体に取付けられ、かつ取付時にプラグを損傷させることのないものを提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明の手段は次ぎのとおりである。

一端に操作ハンドルを取付ける角形操作部を設けた筒形レンチ本体の他端にプラグの六角ナット部が挿着されるプラグ嵌合凹部を形成し、該プラグ嵌合凹部の底に当てる円環面部と円環面部の縁より立上り、前記嵌合凹部の周壁に接して弾性が生じる上半部によって前記六角ナット部を挟持する複数の弯曲板ばねを備えた固定部材を前記プラグ嵌合凹部に嵌め込むと共に、前記弯曲板ばね間に内面が前記プラグのガイドとなる黄銅製の案内部材を介在させて前記円環面部に重ね合わせたこと。

【発明の実施の形態】
図中1は筒形のレンチ本体で、一端に操作ハンドルを取付ける角形操作部2を設け、他端にプラグ3の六角ナット部が挿着される嵌合凹部4を形成し、嵌合凹部4の底にプラグの固定部材5を嵌め込む。

この固定部材5は図4、図5のように円環面部5aと、その周縁の左右の立上り弯曲板ばね5b,5cとから成り立ち、円環面部5aを嵌合凹部4の底に当て、弯曲板ばね5b,5cを嵌合凹部4の周壁に接しさせて、上半部の弯曲部5d,5eに弾性が生じるようにし、該弯曲部5d,5eでプラグ3の六角ナット部を挟持するようにしてある(図3)。尚弯曲板ばねは3個所でも良い。
6は固定部材5の底面上に嵌めた真鍮の案内部材で、本体に挿着したプラグ3の接触部3aが直接当たり、硬度の低い真鍮(黄銅)によって緩衝作用を行ない、案内部材6の内面はプラグのガイドとなるものである。

【発明の効果】
本発明は以上の構成から成り立つので、弯曲板ばねによりプラグを本体に嵌めたときにの保持力は強くなり確実に取付けられ、又案内部材によりプラグが直接あたる部分はクッション性が生じプラグの損傷を防ぐことが可能である。

Claims (1)

  1. 一端に操作ハンドルを取付ける角形操作部を設けた筒形レンチ本体の他端にプラグの六角ナット部が挿着されるプラグ嵌合凹部を形成し、該プラグ嵌合凹部の底に当てる円環面部と円環面部の縁より立上り、前記嵌合凹部の周壁に接して弾性が生じる上半部によって前記六角ナット部を挟持する複数の弯曲板ばねを備えた固定部材を前記プラグ嵌合凹部に嵌め込むと共に、前記弯曲板ばね間に内面が前記プラグのガイドとなる黄銅製の案内部材を介在させて前記円環面部に重ね合わせた、プラグレンチ。
