Description
また、従来、乳酸菌はプロバイオティクスとして用いられている。このようなものとして、ラクトバチルス・サリバリウスを含有してなる家畜用薬剤(特許文献2参照)、菌数がN×106以上の乳酸球菌及び芽胞菌から主としてなる混合微生物を、少なくとも0.1%含む消臭性飼料(特許文献3参照)、高級有機物に、抗酸化物質と、生菌剤とを加え、密閉容器に入れ、25℃〜37℃の温度下で発酵させた飼料添加物(特許文献4参照)など多くの提案がある。
細胞の形態:桿菌、胞子形成:無、運動性:無、グラム染色:+、酸素に対する態度:通性嫌気性、15℃での生育:−、45℃での生育:+、乳酸発酵:ホモ型、グルコースからのガスの生成:−、アルギニンからのアンモニアの生成:−、馬尿酸ナトリウムの加水分解性:−、4%塩化ナトリウム耐性:−、糖資化性:アラビノース−、キシロース−、ラムノース−、リボース−、グルコース+、マンノース+、フルクトース+、ガラクトース+、スクロース+、マルトース+、セロビオース+、ラクトース+、トレハロース+、メリビオース−、ラフィノース−、メレチトース−、マンニトール−、ソルビトール−、エスクリン+、サリシン+、アミグダリン−、グルコン酸ナトリウム−、生成乳酸:D乳酸
MRS液体培地に本菌を接種し、30〜40℃で24時間1次培養した。培養液を滅菌されたふすまに噴霧し、30〜40℃で3日間2次培養して乳酸菌生菌剤を得た。得られた乳酸菌生菌剤に含まれる本菌の菌数は5.3×109/gであった。
脱脂乳寒天平板(滅菌10%スキムミルク10ml、BCP(100mg/l)溶解2%寒天5ml、TYLG培養液(本菌を106/ml含む)150μl)上に表1の被検菌種のカビ胞子を塗抹後、TYLG培養液(本菌を106/ml含む)を50μl加えた0.15%軟寒天5mlを重層し、30℃で2日間培養した。培養後、カビ胞子を塗抹しない対照と比較し、カビの増殖阻止作用について判定した。結果は、表1に示すように、ペニシリウム属のカビに対して強い阻止作用を示した。
本菌を家畜用飼料に添加し、家畜用飼料のカビの繁殖を防除できるかについて試験を行った。家畜用飼料(穀類(とうもろこし、ライ麦)60wt%、植物性油かす類26wt%、そうこう類2wt%、その他(菓子屑、糖蜜など)12wt%)20gに上記の製造例で得た乳酸菌生菌剤を1g(5.3×109個)を添加し、これに蒸留水20mlを加えたものをカップに入れて常温で377日間放置した(実施例1)。同様の家畜用飼料20gに蒸留水20mlのみを加えたものを同様に放置した(比較例1)。結果は、図1と図2に示すように、比較例1においては、家畜用飼料の汚染カビのペニシリウム・オルソニー(Penicillium olsonii)が繁殖し、青緑色に変色していた。一方、実施例1ではペニシリウム・オルソニー(Penicillium olsonii)の繁殖を阻止していた。なお、図1の比較例1は、放置から31日後のものであり、図2の実施例1は放置から377日後のものである。
豚舎内、鶏舎内及び牛舎内のアンモニア濃度をそれぞれ測定して、本菌の消臭作用を以下のように検討した。
上記の消臭作用の検討で行った各15ヶ月間に亘る試験において、消臭作用の試験と共に生存率と産卵率についても検討した。対照は、上記の家禽用飼料に市販の乳酸菌資材を添加したものを家禽に摂取させたものであり、実施例6及び実施例7は上記の家禽用飼料に乳酸菌生菌剤を添加したものを家禽に摂取させたものである。結果は、表6に示すように、本菌を摂取した採卵鶏の生存率は極めて高かった。また、表7に示すように、本菌を摂取した採卵鶏は、産卵率にも優れていた。
上記の消臭作用の検討で行った乳牛用飼料と市販の乳酸菌資材及び製造例で得た乳酸菌生菌剤を用い、10日間隔で17回に亘り搾乳し、牛乳の乳脂肪率、乳蛋白質率及び無脂乳固形分率について検討した。対照は、乳牛(ホルスタイン)130頭に乳牛用飼料に市販の乳酸菌資材を添加したものを摂取させた。また、実施例8は対照の試験の終了後、一定期間無添加の乳牛用飼料を摂取させ、その後、乳牛(ホルスタイン)130頭に乳牛用飼料に製造例で得た乳酸菌生菌剤を添加したものを摂取させた。乳牛から搾られた各牛乳の乳脂肪率、乳蛋白質率及び無脂乳固形分率は、乳成分分析装置(ミルコスキャンFT120、富士平株式会社製)を用いて測定した。表8は、試験を行った17回の測定値の平均を示す。結果は、表8に示すように、本菌を摂取した乳牛から生産される牛乳の乳脂肪率、乳蛋白質率及び無脂乳固形分率はいずれも対照に比べ高く、乳質が向上していた。

- ペニシリウム属のカビに対する抗カビ活性を有するラクトバチルス・デルブリッキー(Lactobacillus delbrueckii)ANTI MUFFA(FERM P-19705)。
- 請求項1に記載のラクトバチルス・デルブリッキー(Lactobacillus delbrueckii)ANTI MUFFA(FERM P-19705)が添加されてなる動物用飼料。
- 請求項1に記載のラクトバチルス・デルブリッキー(Lactobacillus delbrueckii)ANTI MUFFA(FERM P-19705)が添加されてなる動物用飲料。
- 請求項1に記載のラクトバチルス・デルブリッキー(Lactobacillus delbrueckii)ANTI MUFFA(FERM P-19705)を有効成分とする乳酸菌生菌剤。
- 請求項1に記載のラクトバチルス・デルブリッキー(Lactobacillus delbrueckii)ANTI MUFFA(FERM P-19705)を有効成分とする動物用飼料添加剤。
- 請求項1に記載のラクトバチルス・デルブリッキー(Lactobacillus delbrueckii)ANTI MUFFA(FERM P-19705)を摂取させる動物(ヒトを除く)の***物の消臭方法。
