本発明は、商品を収納し、密封時には商品を保管・搬送するために用いられ、開封後は商品を展示するために用いられるディスプレイ兼用カートンに関するものである。

近年、消費者のニーズの多様化に伴って商品の種類が著しく増加しており、これに伴ってスーパーやコンビニエンスストアの商品陳列棚の段数が増加し、各段の高さが低くなってきている。このような状況下では、下方の段に置かれた商品は買物客の目線にかかりにくく、売り上げが上がりにくいという問題が有る。

また、従来より、商品を収納し、密封時には商品を保管・搬送するために用いられ、開封後は商品を展示するために用いられるディスプレイ兼用カートンが知られているが、従来のこの種のカートンは、商品名等を記載した部分が水平方向から視認するように構成されているため、上述した問題に対処できるものではなかった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明は上述した事情に鑑みて創案されたものであり、その目的は、商品陳列棚の下方の段に置かれた場合でも買物客の目線にかかり易いように成したディスプレイ兼用カートンを提供することにある。
