BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a vehicle-mounted power supply device and a vehicle-mounted device including the vehicle-mounted power supply device.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In an electric vehicle and a hybrid vehicle, in addition to a motor for moving wheels and a motor drive circuit, an in-vehicle power supply device for driving an in-vehicle device (hereinafter referred to as an auxiliary machine) is provided. Auxiliary equipment includes various devices such as various lamps, air conditioners, and radios. These auxiliary machines operate by receiving power supply from a rechargeable auxiliary DC power supply. The in-vehicle power supply device is mainly used to charge the auxiliary DC power supply described above and to supply power to the auxiliary equipment together with the auxiliary DC power supply. The in-vehicle power supply device includes a DC-DC converter, switches DC power supplied from a main power supply (main battery) for a wheel drive motor via a main power supply switch (ignition switch), and has a voltage value Are converted to different DC voltages and supplied to the auxiliary machine and the auxiliary machine DC power supply.
[0003]
The terminal voltage of the auxiliary DC power supply and the DC output voltage of the in-vehicle power supply device are normally kept at voltage values that are commensurate with the auxiliary equipment. However, an overvoltage state may occur due to a failure of the DC-DC converter. When the overvoltage state occurs, the auxiliary DC power supply and the auxiliary machine are damaged, and therefore, an in-vehicle power supply device is usually provided with an overvoltage protection circuit.
[0004]
Various circuit configurations have been proposed as an overvoltage protection circuit. Basically, a DC output voltage of an in-vehicle power supply device is detected by a resistance voltage dividing circuit, and the detected voltage signal is used as a reference voltage signal. When the voltage detection signal becomes higher than the reference voltage signal, the overvoltage detection signal is output. Then, the overvoltage detection signal is supplied to the control circuit, and the operation of the DC-DC converter is stopped by the control circuit.
[0005]
As described above, the on-vehicle power supply device is used to charge the auxiliary DC power supply and to supply power to the auxiliary equipment together with the auxiliary DC power supply. A DC power source for auxiliary equipment is always connected to the DC output side of the power supply device. Since the resistance voltage divider that detects the DC output voltage is connected to the DC output side of the in-vehicle power supply, current flows through the resistor voltage divider even when the main power switch is turned off. This will cause the DC power supply to discharge. For this reason, when the vehicle is not used for a long period of time, the discharge of the auxiliary DC power supply may progress to an unusable state.
[0006]
In addition, a resistance voltage dividing circuit that detects the DC output voltage is connected to the DC output side where the auxiliary DC power supply for auxiliary equipment is connected, so the main power on switch is turned off. Even in this case, the voltage detection signal is input from the resistance voltage dividing circuit to the overvoltage protection circuit. On the other hand, the reference voltage signal compared with the voltage detection signal is generated using a DC input voltage that is turned on and off by the main power-on switch. For this reason, the overvoltage protection circuit may malfunction when the in-vehicle device is initially started or restarted.
[0007]
In an actual circuit, not only a voltage dividing resistor circuit for voltage detection but also a circuit for generating a reference voltage, etc. may be included. move on.
[0008]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The subject of this invention is providing the vehicle-mounted power supply device which has the overvoltage protection function which protects the direct current power supply for auxiliary machines, an auxiliary machine, etc. from overvoltage.
[0009]
Another object of the present invention is to provide an in-vehicle power supply device capable of completely preventing the discharge action of the auxiliary DC power supply by the overvoltage protection circuit when the main power on switch (ignition switch) is turned off. That is.
[0010]
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide an in-vehicle power supply device that can completely prevent the discharge action of the DC power supply for auxiliary equipment by the overvoltage protection circuit with a minimum circuit change. One problem is to provide an in-vehicle power supply device that can reliably prevent discharge of an auxiliary DC power supply when the vehicle is not in use.
[0011]
Still another object of the present invention is to provide an in-vehicle power supply device that has a small cut-off current and can use a small-capacity switch element.
[0012]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-described problems, an in-vehicle power supply device according to the present invention includes at least a pair of input terminals, at least a pair of output terminals, a DC-DC converter, a control circuit, an overvoltage protection circuit, and a switch unit. including.
[0013]
The DC-DC converter converts a DC input voltage supplied to the pair of input terminals via a main power-on switch into a DC voltage having a different voltage value, and supplies the DC voltage to the pair of output terminals. The control circuit controls the DC-DC converter.
[0014]
The overvoltage protection circuit generates a voltage detection signal by detecting the DC output voltage supplied from the DC-DC converter to the pair of output terminals, and compares the voltage detection signal with the reference voltage signal. An overvoltage detection signal is generated, and the overvoltage detection signal is supplied to the control circuit.
[0015]
The switch means opens and closes an electric circuit formed between the output side of the DC-DC converter and the overvoltage protection circuit in conjunction with the main power-on switch.
[0016]
In the on-vehicle power supply device described above, the DC input voltage supplied to the pair of input terminals is converted into DC voltages having different voltage values by the DC-DC converter and supplied to the pair of output terminals. The DC input voltage supplied to the pair of input terminals is supplied from a wheel drive motor and a main power supply (main battery) provided for the drive circuit, as in the conventional case. A pair of output terminals is connected to an auxiliary DC power supply and an auxiliary machine according to a normal configuration. The DC-DC converter outputs a DC voltage having a voltage value suitable for the auxiliary power supply and auxiliary equipment. Auxiliary DC power supply is charged by a DC output voltage supplied from a DC-DC converter. Auxiliary machines mainly operate using a DC power supply for auxiliary machines as a power source.
[0017]
The overvoltage protection circuit detects a DC output voltage supplied from the DC-DC converter to the pair of output terminals, and generates a voltage detection signal. If the DC output voltage becomes an overvoltage state due to a failure of the DC-DC converter or the like, the voltage detection signal rises. When the voltage detection signal becomes higher than the reference voltage signal, the overvoltage detection signal is output. This overvoltage detection signal is supplied to the control circuit, and the operation of the DC-DC converter is stopped by the control circuit.
[0018]
The switch means operates in conjunction with the main power-on switch to open and close an electric circuit formed between the output side of the DC-DC converter and the overvoltage protection circuit. According to this circuit configuration, even when the vehicle is not used for a long period of time, the electric circuit included in the overvoltage protection circuit, for example, the auxiliary power supply for auxiliary equipment is discharged by the resistance voltage dividing circuit for detecting the DC output voltage. , Completely blocked.
[0019]
In addition, since the switch means can be turned on and off by using the on / off of the main power-on switch, a dedicated switch is not required, and the DC for auxiliary machinery by the overvoltage protection circuit can be changed with minimal circuit changes. The discharge action of the power supply can be completely prevented.
[0020]
Since the switch means is interlocked with the main power on switch, if the main power on switch is turned off, the switch means is always turned off. That is, since there is no room for forgetting to turn off the switch means, it is possible to reliably prevent discharge of the auxiliary DC power supply when the vehicle is not used.
[0021]
In addition, since the switch means opens and closes an electric circuit formed between the output side of the DC-DC converter and the overvoltage protection circuit, the cut-off current is very small and a small-capacity switch element can be used.
[0022]
As one aspect, the overvoltage protection circuit includes a voltage detection circuit and a comparator. The voltage detection circuit is connected to the output side of the DC-DC converter via the switch means, and detects the DC output voltage appearing on the output side of the DC-DC converter. The comparator compares the DC output voltage detection signal with a reference voltage, and outputs the overvoltage detection signal when the DC output voltage is higher than the reference voltage. According to this circuit configuration, the discharge of the auxiliary DC power supply by the voltage detection circuit and the accompanying power consumption are completely prevented.
[0023]
In the case of adopting the above configuration, the reference voltage rises in synchronization with the turning on of the main power on switch, and the switch means is turned on after the reference voltage becomes higher than the steady level of the voltage detection signal. It is desirable to configure. According to this configuration, it is possible to avoid malfunction of the overvoltage protection circuit during initial startup and restart.
[0024]
Other objects, configurations and advantages of the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. The accompanying drawings are merely examples.
