Description
Claims (8)
- 吸い込んだ空気を高圧空気と中間圧空気に圧縮する圧縮機セクションと、
前記圧縮機セクションと連通関係にあり、かつ圧縮された空気とともに燃料を燃焼する燃焼セクションと、
前記燃焼セクションからの燃焼ガスと連通関係にあり、かつ前記中間圧空気より低い圧力の先端を有するタービンブレードを備えるタービンセクションと、
前記圧縮機セクションの上流側にあり、かつ前記中間圧空気と連通関係にあるブリードと、前記中間圧空気の動圧を転換して前記中間圧空気の静圧を上昇させるキャビティ内の閉塞部と、を備える実質的に環状のキャビティと、
前記キャビティと連通関係にある入口と前記タービンブレードと連通関係にある出口とを有し、昇圧された前記中間圧空気を前記タービンブレードに導く導管と、
を含むタービンエンジン。 - 前記閉塞部は中心軸に対して実質的に半径方向に延びる壁を含むことを特徴とする請求項1のタービンエンジン。
- 前記ブレードは前縁を備え、前記中間圧空気は前記前縁の近傍の静圧より低いか、もしくはわずかに高い圧力を有することを特徴とする請求項1のタービンエンジン。
- 前記導管は前記圧縮機セクションから前記タービンセクションまでの管を含むことを特徴とする請求項1のタービンエンジン。
- 前記タービンブレードはシャワーヘッド冷却アセンブリーを備えていないことを特徴とする請求項1記載のタービンエンジン。
- 前記導管は前記タービンブレードへの冷却空気の主要供給源を提供することを特徴とする請求項1記載のタービンエンジン。
- タービンエンジン内の部品を冷却する方法であって、前記タービンエンジンは、連通関係にある、圧縮機セクションと、燃焼セクションと、タービンセクションとを含み、前記方法は、
前記燃焼セクションに流入する高圧空気より低温の中間圧空気を前記圧縮機セクションから分流し、
前記分流された中間圧空気の圧力を、前記タービンセクション内で回転するタービンブレードの静圧を超えるまで昇圧させ、
昇圧された前記中間圧空気を前記回転するタービンブレードに誘導して該タービンブレードを冷却することを含み、
前記昇圧は、前記中間圧空気をキャビティに抽気し、前記中間圧空気の回転エネルギーを転換させて、該中間圧空気の静圧を上昇させることを含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記タービンブレードの前縁は、昇圧後の前記中間圧空気の圧力よりも低い静圧を有することを特徴とする請求項7記載の方法。
