Scf:
Sca:
Scf
Sca
Scf
Sca

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a digital audio decoder for decoding a digital audio signal (bit stream) compressed by a subband encoding method.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As a compression method by subband coding, a method such as MPEG AUDIO is known. Since this method has a high compression rate, it has been widely used in various fields in recent years.
The configuration of the compression circuit by this method is shown in FIG. The input digital audio signal Da is blocked (referred to as a frame) every 1152 samples, and is processed in two paths. First, the

In addition, a decoder that decodes the bitstream generated by the above-described circuit first extracts bit allocation information and a scale factor from the bitstream, and generates a bit string corresponding to each of the 32 subband samples from the bitstream according to the bit allocation information. Read, dequantize every subband sample, and multiply by scale factor. Then, the sub-quantized subband signal is subjected to subband synthesis and returned to the original digital audio signal (PCM musical tone data).

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, the data compressed by the above-described subband encoding method is compressed in units of 1 frame = 1152 samples, and therefore, it cannot be decoded unless it is 1152 samples. That is, when the music compressed by the subband encoding method is played from the middle of the music, there is a problem that the music can only be played from the frame break and cannot be played from the desired location. It should be noted that, after subband synthesis processing is completed for all samples in one frame and restored to the original PCM musical tone data, it can be reproduced from a desired location, but in this case, the decoded data is recorded in a large amount. A large amount of memory is required, and it takes a considerable time to start reproduction, which is not realistic.
[0008]
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a digital audio decoder capable of reproducing bitstream data compressed by a subband encoding method from an arbitrary position in the middle of a frame. There is to do.
