この発明は、一般のナットに代わり、少しの操作で確実にボルトを留めることのできるナットに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
通常、建築物等には、種々の部材間の結合にボルトとナットが用いられることが多いが、ボルトに対するナットの装着は、両者がねじの噛み合いによるため、ボルトの一端にナットをはめたのち、これを回しながらボルトの所要位置まで移動させなくてはならない。従って多数のボルトを使用する際は操作がきわめて煩雑となり、又、使用年月の経過と共に生じる結合箇所の緩みを防ぐため、加締めた箇所に溶接やペイントの塗布等が必要である。
この結果、作業にかなりの手間と時間を要して能率が上がらず、これが工事コストを高める原因ともなっている。
本発明は、この従来のボルトへのナット装着作業の難点を解消して、操作が簡単で、かつ、如何なるボルト留めの作業にも適応できる結合確実なナット(以下、スライドナットと呼ぶ。)を提供することを目的とする。

本発明者は、上記課題を解決するために、先に特願平10−216438に係る発明において、ボルトが余裕を以て貫通する遊び孔と、ボルトと噛合する雌ねじを持つボルト係止孔が連続したひょうたん形ボルト貫通孔を有するスライドナットを紹介した。しかしながら、このナットは、ボルトへの装着は簡単ではあるが、加締め強度及び確実性にやや難点がある欠点を有していた。
本発明は、この従前の発明の欠点を改良したナットを提供することを目的とするものである。

上記の目的を達成するため、本発明のスライドナットは、金属又は合成樹脂より成る円柱乃至正多角柱状の同形のナット二つを背中合わせに接着する。各ナット中央のボルト貫通孔は、ボルトが垂直方向に余裕を以て貫通できる遊び孔と、内側にボルト外周の雄ねじと螺合する雌ねじを刻設したボルト係止孔をそれぞれの一部が連続したひょうたん形としている。又、背中合わせの二つのナットは、互いに180°回転した位置とする。ここで、各ナットのボルト係止孔の下縁部角を削り、ボルトが斜めに余裕を以て貫通できるようにする。さらに、ナット外面に座金が嵌合する嵌入溝を設けることが好ましい。

以下、図面に従って本発明スライドナットの実施例を説明する。
図1(A)はその平面図を示す。同図において、aは、金属より成る正6角形の上側のナットで、中央には、ボルト9が余裕を以て貫通できる遊び孔2とボルトが係止し得るネジを備えた係止孔3が連続したひょうたん形の貫通孔1を設けてある。

図2は同実施例の側断面図を示す。同形のナット(a)、(a´)を背中合わせに接着したスライドナットにおいて、2、2´はボルト9が余裕を以て貫通できる遊び孔、3、3´はボルトが係止し得るネジを備えた係止孔で、両者が連続したひょうたん形の貫通孔1を形成している。また、下面には装着を確実にするためのドーナツ座金が嵌合する嵌入溝を設けてある。

【発明の効果】
上記のように構成された本発明スライドナットは、ボルトに装着の際には、貫通孔の遊び孔にボルトを挿通した後、ボルトの垂直方向に位置させることにより、ボルトと係止孔と相互のネジを噛合させた上、下面の嵌入溝にドーナツ座金を嵌入させて装着を確実にすることができる。
上記の如く、任意の位置までナットを直接移動させることができるから手間がかからず、作業が極めて容易で、能率的である。
加えて、ボルトへの装着は、スライドナットの嵌入溝にドーナツ座金を嵌合させるから、経年使用により、ボルトと係止孔のネジ相互の噛合が外れることによる事故等がなく、装着は極めて確実である。
