本発明は、テーブルタップに関するものである。

従来のテーブルタップとしては図24に示すように、幅方向(両側方向)よりも高さ方向が短い略矩形の函体に形成された合成樹脂製の外殻100を備えて、外郭100の上面(幅方向の面)に設けた2つのコンセント口101には矩形状の栓刃挿入孔101aが1対づつ形成されており、外郭100の一端からはブッシング102を介して電源コード103が導入されており、電源コード103を介して外部の商用電源から給電される。しかしプラグPを接続した場合に、上面に接続したプラグPの出っ張りX2によって狭いスペースに設置することができなかった。

しかし、上記特許文献1に記載のテーブルタップはプラグを接続した場合でも狭いスペースに設置できるものの、栓刃挿入孔にプラグが挿入されていない場合、ホコリやゴミが外郭の内部に侵入する恐れがあった。

本発明は、上記事由に鑑みてなされたものであり、その目的は、狭いスペースに設置できるとともに栓刃挿入孔からのホコリやゴミの侵入を防止したテーブルタップを提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
請求項1の発明は、幅方向よりも高さ方向が短い外郭と、前記外郭の高さ方向の面に設けられてプラグの複数の栓刃が各々挿入される複数の栓刃挿入孔と、前記外郭に収納されて前記各栓刃挿入孔から内部に挿入された栓刃を受ける刃受けばねを有すると共に外部電源から電線を介して給電される複数の端子板と、前記栓刃挿入孔に挿入される栓刃の押圧力によって前記栓刃挿入孔のいずれかの開口端側に位置する扉部を移動させる挿入孔開閉手段と、前記外郭から引き出された電線の外周を覆って内部の芯線の屈曲による断線を防止するとともに、前記外郭内に固定するための固定部を側面に具備し、さらには前記外郭の外面に係止して取り付けられる面状の弁部を具備するブッシング部とを備え、前記挿入孔開閉手段は、前記栓刃挿入孔に挿入されたプラグの栓刃が当接し、該当接した栓刃の押圧力を前記栓刃挿入孔を開く位置に移動するための力に変換する当接部を有して、1つのプラグに設けた複数の栓刃が各々挿入される前記複数の栓刃挿入孔に対して1つ設けられた扉部と、プラグに設けた複数の栓刃に挟まれない位置に配置されるとともに前記扉部に圧接して、栓刃を前記栓刃挿入孔に挿入していないときに前記扉部を前記複数の栓刃挿入孔を閉じる位置に移動させる力を付勢する金属ばねとから構成され、前記扉部は、栓刃を前記栓刃挿入孔に挿入していないときには前記複数の栓刃挿入孔を閉じる位置にあり、栓刃を前記栓刃挿入孔に挿入したときには前記複数の栓刃挿入孔を開く位置に移動することを特徴とする

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態を図面に基づいて説明する。

本実施形態は、図1〜図4に示すように、合成樹脂製のカバー10およびボディ20からなる外殻1を備え、外郭1は幅方向(両側方向)よりも高さ方向が短い略矩形の細長の函体に形成されており、その内部には、プラグの栓刃を受ける3つの刃受けばね31を各々有する2つの端子板30a,30bと、端子板30a、30bを納装する合成樹脂製の中ボディ40とが収納されている。そして、外部の商用電源(図示なし)からの電源コード3の端末が、外殻1の一端側に取着したブッシング60を介して外殻1内部に導入され、端子板30a,30bには電源コード3を介して外部の商用電源から通電される。またカバー10およびボディ20の外面には化粧板5が各々取り付けられている。

次に図4(a)、図10を用いて外郭1へのブッシング60の取り付けについて説明する。ブッシング60は外郭1から引き出された電源コード3の外周を覆って内部の芯線3aの屈曲による断線を防止するもので、その一端側は筒状を成し、他端側は外郭1に固定するための構造を有して、他端側から一端側にかけて滑らかに細くなっている。外殻1の一端側は電源コード3を導入するための開口を形成されており、ブッシング60はその開口に覆設される。ブッシング60の他端の両側面には、半円弧状の凸部63(固定部)が両側方向に突出しており、凸部63が外郭1の一端側の開口内側の周縁に係止することで外郭1に固定される。

また図11、図12に示すように、ブッシング60の他端側上下部には他端方向に延びた矩形状の弁61が形成されている。またカバー10の表面には一端側を開放して形成された凹部14の一端に凹部15を設けており、凹部15の底面上には3つの突起13が形成されている。そして弁61は凹部15に嵌め込まれると共に、弁61に形成された3つの孔61aに突起13を挿通させて、次にカバー10の凹部14,15に化粧板5が嵌め込まれる。ボディ20側も同様である。

また、化粧板5として図16に示すようにだるま型の孔5cを他端側に設けたものを用いてもよい。この場合図17に示すように、ボディ2の両端方向には両端を開口した溝部22が形成されて、その一端側にはブッシング60が前記同様に取り付けられている。溝部22はその両側の一端側、略中央、他端側に、各3つの計6つの係止孔20aを備えており、図18に示すように化粧板5の両側の一端側、略中央に備えた係止片5aを、溝部22の略中央と他端側の係止孔20aに各々係止させることで、化粧板5の他端側がボディ20の外部に突出する。そして孔5cを構造物等に設けた突起に掛止させることで、簡易用フックとして利用することができる。

上記実施形態では、外郭1の一方の側面に2つの栓刃挿入孔41aを設け、他端面に1つの栓刃挿入孔41aを設けた3口のテーブルタップについて説明したが、図19に示される外郭1の他方の側面側に空いている内部スペースCを利用して、図20(a)〜(d)に示すように外郭1の他方の側面にも2つの栓刃挿入孔41aを設けて5口のテーブルタップを構成したり、あるいは図21に示すように全ての刃受けばね31aへの給電をオン・オフして、全てのコンセント口を一括してオン・オフできるスイッチSW1を設けたり、あるいは図22に示すようにトラッキング現象の発生時に刃受けばね31aへの給電を遮断するトラッキング防止用ブレーカを収容して外郭1の上面にブレーカリセットスイッチSW2を設けたり、あるいは図23に示すように過電流を検出時に刃受けばね31aへの給電を遮断する過電流検知ブレーカを収容して外郭1の上面に過電流検知ブレーカリセットスイッチSW3を設けるとともに、通電電流が5A時に点灯する電流値表示ランプLa1、10A時に点灯する電流値表示ランプLa2、15A時に点灯する電流値表示ランプLa3を設けてもよい。

【発明の効果】
請求項1の発明は、幅方向よりも高さ方向が短い外郭と、前記外郭の高さ方向の面に設けられてプラグの複数の栓刃が各々挿入される複数の栓刃挿入孔と、前記外郭に収納されて前記各栓刃挿入孔から内部に挿入された栓刃を受ける刃受けばねを有すると共に外部電源から電線を介して給電される複数の端子板と、前記栓刃挿入孔に挿入される栓刃の押圧力によって前記栓刃挿入孔のいずれかの開口端側に位置する扉部を移動させる挿入孔開閉手段と、前記外郭から引き出された電線の外周を覆って内部の芯線の屈曲による断線を防止するとともに、前記外郭内に固定するための固定部を側面に具備し、さらには前記外郭の外面に係止して取り付けられる面状の弁部を具備するブッシング部とを備え、前記挿入孔開閉手段は、前記栓刃挿入孔に挿入されたプラグの栓刃が当接し、該当接した栓刃の押圧力を前記栓刃挿入孔を開く位置に移動するための力に変換する当接部を有して、1つのプラグに設けた複数の栓刃が各々挿入される前記複数の栓刃挿入孔に対して1つ設けられた扉部と、プラグに設けた複数の栓刃に挟まれない位置に配置されるとともに前記扉部に圧接して、栓刃を前記栓刃挿入孔に挿入していないときに前記扉部を前記複数の栓刃挿入孔を閉じる位置に移動させる力を付勢する金属ばねとから構成され、前記扉部は、栓刃を前記栓刃挿入孔に挿入していないときには前記複数の栓刃挿入孔を閉じる位置にあり、栓刃を前記栓刃挿入孔に挿入したときには前記複数の栓刃挿入孔を開く位置に移動するので、プラグを接続した場合でも狭いスペースに設置できるとともに、プラグを接続していない場合には栓刃挿入孔から内部へのホコリやゴミの侵入を防止することができるという効果がある。また、プラグの栓刃の間に金属ばねがなく、トラッキング現象による絶縁破壊が発生し難いという効果がある。また、ブッシング部の端部に固定部を備えたテーブルタップに比べて、長さを短くすることができ、さらにはブッシング部が曲がったときに外郭とブッシングとの間に発生するすきまを弁によって隠すことができ、さらに弁を外郭の外面に係止させることで発生するすきまを低減させることができるという効果がある。
