Description
図1は多数のユーザをサポートする無線通信システム100 の概略図である。システム100 は対応する基地局104 によりそれぞれサービスされる複数のセルに対する通信を提供する。種々のユーザ端末106 はシステム全体に分散されている。各ユーザ端末106 はユーザ端末がアクチブであるか否かおよびソフトハンドオフであるか否かに応じて、任意の特定の瞬間にダウンリンクおよびアップリンクで1以上の基地局104 と通信する。図1に示されているように、基地局104aはユーザ端末106a、106b、106c、106dと通信し、基地局104bはユーザ端末106d、106e、106fと通信する。ユーザ端末106dはソフトハンドオフであり、基地局104aおよび104bと同時に通信する。

本発明の特別な実施形態にしたがって、表1の新しいスロットフォーマット6乃至9Aは2つのフィードバックサブストリームをサポートするために規定される。スロットフォーマット6は(列1の[1]により示されているように)スロットフォーマット1に基づき、スロットフォーマット7はスロットフォーマット0に基づき、スロットフォーマット7Aと7Bはスロットフォーマット0Bに基づき、スロットフォーマット8はスロットフォーマット4に基づき、スロットフォーマット9はスロットフォーマット5に基づき、スロットフォーマット9Aはスロットフォーマット5Bに基づいている。1実施形態では、新しいスロットフォーマットは対応する“ベース”スロットフォーマットのTFCIとFBIフィールドを維持する。
Claims (28)
- 無線通信システムにおいて、共通のフィードバックストリームを介して複数のチャンネルに対するパワー制御をサポートする方法であって、
前記複数のチャンネルで複数の送信を受信することと、
各チャンネルで受信された前記送信の信号品質を決定することと、
前記チャンネルで受信された送信についての前記決定された受信された信号品質に基づいて、各チャンネルに対するパワー制御情報を発生することと、
前記フィードバックストリームに基づいて規定された複数のフィードバックサブストリームで前記複数のチャンネルに対して発生されたパワー制御情報を多重化することと、
アップリンク専用の物理的チャネルで前記複数のフィードバックサブストリームを送信することと、
を含んでいる方法。 - 各フィードバックサブストリームは独立してパワー制御されるようにそれぞれのチャンネルに割当てられる請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記フィードバックストリームは、各スロットが特定の時間インターバルに対応している、一連のスロットで送信されるパワー制御フィールドにより形成される、請求項1記載の方法。
- 各フィードバックサブストリームに対し発生される前記パワー制御情報は、前記パワー制御フィールドで送信される、請求項3記載の方法。
- 各フィードバックサブストリームはそれぞれのセットのスロットに割当てられる請求項3記載の方法。
- 前記複数のフィードバックサブストリームに割当てられた前記スロットは特定の反復パターンに基づいて選択される請求項5記載の方法。
- 2つのフィードバックサブストリームが規定されている請求項3記載の方法。
- 前記2つのフィードバックサブストリームに割当てられる前記スロットは“n−m”パターンに基づいて選択され、nスロットは第2のフィードバックサブストリームに割当てられたmスロット毎に第1のフィードバックサブストリームに割当てられる請求項7記載の方法。
- 前記“n−m”パターンは“1−1”、“2−1”、“4−1”または“14−1”のいずれかである請求項8記載の方法。
- 各フィードバックサブストリームはそれぞれのフィードバックレートに関連され、前記複数のフィードバックサブストリームの集合フィードバックレートは前記フィードバックストリームのフィードバックレート以下である請求項1記載の方法。
- 2つのフィードバックサブストリームが規定され、第1のフィードバックサブストリームのフィードバックレートは1000コマンド/秒以上であり、第2のフィードバックサブストリームのフィードバックレートは500コマンド/秒以下である請求項10記載の方法。
- 前記複数のチャンネルは専用のチャンネルおよび共用のチャンネルを含んでいる請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記複数のフィードバックサブストリームは前記共用のチャンネルが送信に割当てられるときの時間中にフィードバックに使用され、前記フィードバックストリームは前記専用のチャンネルだけが割当てられるときの時間中にフィードバックに使用される請求項12記載の方法。
- 前記専用のチャンネルに割当てられた前記フィードバックサブストリームは、前記共用のチャンネルに割当てられる前記フィードバックサブストリームのフィードバックレートよりも高いフィードバックレートを有している請求項12記載の方法。
- 少なくとも1つのチャンネルに対して発生される前記パワー制御情報は、前記受信された信号品質がターゲットレベルの上であるか下であるかを示すパワー制御ビットを含んでいる請求項1記載の方法。
- 少なくとも1つのチャンネルに対し発生される前記パワー制御情報は、受信された信号対雑音プラス干渉比を示す値を含んでいる、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記無線通信システムはW−CDMA標準方式にしたがう請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記複数のチャンネルはダウンリンク専用の物理的なチャンネル(ダウンリンクDPCH)と物理的なダウンリンク共有チャンネル(PDSCH)とを含んでいる請求項17記載の方法。
- W−CDMA通信システムで、共通のフィードバックストリームを介して2つのチャンネルの独立したパワー制御をサポートする方法であって、
前記2つのチャンネルで2つの送信を受信することと;
各チャンネルで受信された前記送信の信号品質を決定することと;
前記チャンネルで受信された送信についての前記決定された受信された信号品質に基づいて各チャンネルのパワー制御情報を発生することと;
前記フィードバックストリームに基づいて規定された第1および第2のフィードバックサブストリームに2つのチャンネルに対して発生されたパワー制御情報を多重化することと、なお、前記第1のフィードバックサブストリームは1000コマンド/秒以上のフィードバックレートを有し、前記第2のフィードバックサブストリームは500コマンド/秒以下のフィードバックレートを有する ;
2つのフィードバックサブストリームを送信することと ;
を含んでいる方法。 - 無線通信システムで、複数のフィードバックストリームを介して複数のチャンネルのパワー制御をサポートする方法であって、
前記複数のチャンネルで複数の送信を受信することと ;
各チャンネルで受信された前記送信の信号品質を決定することと;
前記決定された受信された信号品質に基づいて各チャンネルのパワー制御情報を発生することと ;
複数のフィードバックストリームで前記複数のチャンネルに対して発生されたパワー制御情報を多重化することと、なお、各フィードバックサブストリームはフィードバックサブチャンネルの各スロットのそれぞれのフィールドにより規定される;
アップリンク専用の物理的チャネルで前記複数のフィードバックサブストリームを送信することと、
を含んでいる方法。 - 前記複数のフィードバックサブストリームは等しいフィードバックレートを有している請求項20記載の方法。
- 2つのフィードバックサブストリームは各スロットで2つのフィールドにより規定される請求項20記載の方法。
- 前記2つのフィールドは等しい数のビットを有する請求項22記載の方法。
- 無線通信システムで使用するパワー制御装置であって、
各チャンネルで受信される送信の信号品質を決定するために複数のチャンネルで複数の送信を受信し処理するように構成されている信号品質測定装置と、
前記信号品質測定装置に結合され、前記決定された受信された信号品質に基づいて各チャンネルに対するパワー制御情報を発生し、アップリンク専用の物理的チャネルでの送信のために、単一のフィードバックストリームに基づいて規定された複数のフィードバックサブストリームに前記複数のチャンネルに対して発生されたパワー制御情報を多重化するように構成されている、パワー制御プロセッサと、
を具備しているパワー制御装置。 - 前記複数のフィードバックサブストリームは、各スロットが特定の時間インターバルに対応している、それぞれのセットのスロットに割当てられる、請求項24記載のパワー制御装置。
- 2つのフィードバックサブストリームが規定されている請求項25記載のパワー制御装置。
- 前記2つのフィードバックサブストリームに割当てられる前記スロットは“n−m”パターンに基づいて選択され、nスロットは第2のフィードバックサブストリームに割当てられたmスロット毎に第1のフィードバックサブストリームに割当てられている請求項26記載のパワー制御装置。
- 前記第1のフィードバックサブストリームは1000コマンド/秒のフィードバックレートを有し、前記第2のフィードバックサブストリームは500コマンド/秒以下のフィードバックレートを有する請求項27記載のパワー制御装置。
