Description
The invention according to the claims relates to an incineration ash discharge gate provided in an incineration ash discharge chute for discharging incineration ash from an incinerator, an incineration ash discharge apparatus including the same, and a method of using the apparatus.
In addition to smooth discharge, the discharge device that discharges incineration ash from an incinerator such as a stalker-type waste incinerator has sufficient sealing performance (sealability. Characteristic that blocks the passage of gas and seals the inside) Is required. If the sealing performance is inadequate, inconvenience that stable combustion in the incinerator is hindered by outside air flowing into the incinerator, which is generally operated at negative pressure. This is because.
Conventionally, incinerator ash discharging apparatuses generally use the following i) to iv). That is,
i) Water-sealed discharge device: The bottom end of the discharge chute of the incinerator is immersed in the water in the aquarium (not shown). The incinerated ash discharged from the incinerator is dropped into the water tank, and the incinerated ash (wet ash) that contains water is carried out by a conveyor or the like. Since the lower end of the chute is immersed in water, there is an advantage that air does not flow in from the outside, and since water is used, inconveniences such as thermal deformation of the apparatus are less likely to occur.
ii) Slide gate type discharge device: As shown in FIG. 6, a
iii) Damper (Flap) Type Discharge Device: As shown in FIG. 7, a
The conventional discharge devices listed in i) to iv) have the following problems.
i) In the case of a water seal type discharge device, there is a disadvantage that the incinerated ash always contains water. In recent years, incineration ash is often subjected to melting treatment for effective use. However, when incineration ash contains water and becomes wet ash, it becomes necessary to dry the incineration ash prior to the melting treatment, resulting in complicated processing. And increase in equipment costs. Further, a metal such as aluminum in the ash reacts with alkaline water to generate hydrogen gas. It was difficult to treat this hydrogen gas.
ii) According to the slide gate type discharge device, it is possible to discharge the incinerated ash as dry ash containing no moisture, but there is a problem with sealing performance. In other words, as shown in FIG. 6, since there is a slight gap between the
iii) Damper (flap) type discharge devices can also discharge incinerated ash as dry ash, but conventional ones are still not sufficient for sealing performance. As shown in FIG. 7, it is generally difficult to make the damper (gate main body) 40 closely contact with the opening provided in the
iv) In the case of the pusher-type discharge device as shown in FIG. 8, it can be said that the sealing performance is high when a sufficient amount of the fine incineration ash X is deposited on the L-
The invention according to the claims is made in consideration of the above problems, and provides an incineration ash discharge gate or the like that can discharge dry incineration ash and always provides high sealing performance. .
The incineration ash discharge gate described in the claim is a gate provided in an incineration ash discharge chute in an incinerator (regardless of type),
a) Provide a damper (as the gate body) that can block the downward opening in the chute from below by swinging around the hinge.
b) A seal portion that can be intimately contacted via a packing when the damper closes the opening, between the outside of the opening and the vicinity of the outer periphery of the damper (the portion located outside the chute when the opening is closed), Provided to surround the entire circumference of the opening ,
c) The vicinity of the outer periphery of the damper included in the seal portion is formed by another member joined to the inner portion of the damper via a heat insulating material .
In the example of FIG. 2A, the
According to such an incineration ash discharge gate, by opening or closing the opening with a swinging damper, the incineration ash from the discharge chute is discharged or stopped. Since water is not used to contact the incineration ash, the incineration ash is always discharged in a dry state.
In addition, the incinerated ash discharge gate has a high sealing performance unlike the conventional gate shown in FIG. 7, for example, and prevents the outside air from flowing between the opening of the chute and the damper. When the damper is swung closer to the opening, the damper provided as a) closes the opening of the chute from below, and the seal provided as b) closes the entire outer periphery of the opening. It is because it seals. When the damper and chute opening are made of a hard material such as metal or ceramics, a so-called metal touch seal is realized when the opening is closed, and the incineration ash in the opening is not leaked to the outside. However, as with the example of FIG. 7, it is difficult to secure a sealing property that can prevent the inflow of outside air. However, as shown in the above b), the discharge gate has a so-called packing touch seal portion that can be in close contact with the packing, and has a high sealing performance. The inside can be sealed.
About the said damper, it is preferable to attach a liner to the upper surface so that replacement | exchange is possible, and to form the flow path of the air layer for cooling, or the fluid for cooling (air, water, etc.) between a damper and a liner. The liner desirably covers almost the entire upper surface of the damper by attaching the plurality of pieces in a replaceable manner. FIG. 2A illustrates a liner so attached.
During use, the damper in the incineration ash discharge gate of the invention reaches a considerably high temperature by receiving heat radiation from the inside of the incinerator and coming into direct contact with the incineration ash. Normally, the damper tends to be thermally deformed as the temperature rises, and the flatness tends to decrease. However, if the liner is attached to the damper as described above, the liner serves as a heat insulating plate to suppress the temperature rise of the damper. Therefore, the damper is less likely to be thermally deformed, can stably block the opening, and can maintain the sealing performance at the seal portion including the packing for a long period of time. When the damper swings downward and discharges the incineration ash, it comes into contact with the falling incineration ash and slides. However, since the liner is attached to the damper as described above, the wear of the damper due to wear is reduced. It is hard to occur. Since the liner is mounted so as to be replaceable, the service life of the damper can be greatly extended by periodically replacing the liner.
The damper (including the liner) and the opening (the vicinity of the opening in the chute) closed by the damper are made of a non-magnetic material (that is, a material to which no magnet is attached. For example, austenitic stainless steel or aluminum Alloy, copper alloy, ceramics, or the like).
Since various items are put into a garbage incinerator or the like, it is not uncommon for incineration ash to include magnets and parts including magnets. If all of the dampers, chutes, etc. are made of general carbon steel, such a situation may occur that such an object adheres to the upper surface of the damper or the edge of the opening and cannot close the opening. If the damper and the vicinity of the opening are made of a non-magnetic material as described above, such a situation can be avoided, and the opening can always be reliably closed and a sealing property can be secured.
In the vicinity of the outer periphery of the damper included in the seal part (that is, a part having a packing or a flat surface or the like that can be in close contact with the packing), another part joined via a heat insulating material to the inner part of the damper It is formed by a member . For example, as shown in FIG. 2B, an outer
By doing so, even if the inner part of the damper becomes high temperature due to the action of incineration ash etc., the heat is not easily transmitted to the outer peripheral part, so the thermal burden on the packing is reduced and the service life is extended, etc. Benefits. Even when the incinerated ash is discharged, the flat surface of the outer peripheral portion may be damaged, so that only the outer peripheral portion can be replaced, so that the original sealing property can be easily recovered.
A part (such as a metal piece as a striking member or a vibrator as a vibration source) that makes contact with the damper when it swings and opens the opening, and gives mechanical shock or vibration to the damper Further provision is advantageous for smoothly discharging the incineration ash. The
By providing means for applying an impact or vibration to the damper in this way, when the damper is swung to open the opening, the incineration ash in the chute is smoothly discharged without adhering to the upper surface of the damper. Thereby, the opening degree of the damper can be somewhat reduced, and sufficient discharge can be performed without opening the damper to a vertical state. Thus, if the opening degree of the damper can be limited, the discharge gate can be configured as a compact one in which the height dimension is suppressed.
In the discharge gate of the invention, the speed (angular speed) of the damper while swinging to open the opening is arbitrarily set (for example, a period with different speed is included in one swing) It is further advantageous to provide speed regulation means that can be used. As the speed adjusting means, for example, a variable speed motor and its speed controller may be used when the damper is driven by an electric motor, and a flow rate adjusting valve may be used when the damper is driven by a hydraulic cylinder or hydraulic motor. .
If the damper swing speed can be set arbitrarily using the speed adjustment means when opening the opening, the incineration ash discharge speed (discharge amount per unit time) by the discharge gate can be set from the opening start to the opening end. Can be made almost constant. When the incineration ash discharged from the discharge gate is concentrated in a specific short time, a shock load acts on the device (other discharge gates, carry-out conveyors, etc.) that is below it and receives the incineration ash, and a large amount at once. However, if the discharge speed can be made close to a constant value as described above, a preferable discharge without applying such a load becomes possible.
The incineration ash discharge device described in the claims is provided with two of the above incineration ash discharge gates (that is, those described in any claim) in a series of chutes leading downward from the incinerator, and a damper in each discharge gate. The swinging (that is, opening and closing of the opening) can be performed independently of the other discharge gate. The incineration ash discharge devices illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 5 are all configured as such. Since two incineration ash discharge gates are provided in a series of chutes, these gates are arranged in series up and down.
According to the incinerator ash discharge device configured in this way, not only high sealing performance is ensured when the opening of the chute is closed by the damper, but also the incinerator is externally opened while discharging the incinerated ash by opening the chute. There is no risk of communication with (downstream of the incineration ash discharge device). If the dampers of the respective discharge gates are swung so that both the discharge gates do not open simultaneously (that is, a method of use described later is employed, see FIGS. 5A to 5C), This is because the opening of the chute is always sealed at the discharge gate. When both the discharge gates are opened alternately, the incineration ash is sequentially discharged downward. According to such a discharge device, the incineration ash can be discharged while completely ensuring the sealability of the incinerator.
About each incineration ash discharge gate in the above discharge device,
・ In addition to providing means (such as a metal piece as a striking member or a vibrator as a vibration source) to contact the damper and apply mechanical shock or vibration to the damper when the opening is opened,
-When the opening is opened to the maximum, the inclination angle of the damper should be 30 to 80 ° (referred to as an angle from the horizontal, preferably 60 to 80 °) .
The incinerated
In this way, an incineration ash discharge device that smoothly discharges the incineration ash while being compact is realized. The discharge device can be made compact because the angle of inclination of the damper is at most 80 ° or less and the hinges of the dampers in the two discharge gates are provided on opposite sides. If the maximum inclination angle of the damper is reduced, the height dimension of each discharge gate can be suppressed. If the hinges of the damper are provided on opposite sides, the damper is not opened to the vertical (90 °). This is because even when the chute below each damper is tilted away from the hinge for the purpose of not narrowing the discharge passage of the incineration ash, the enlargement of the horizontal dimension in the discharge device can be minimized. Further, the reason why the incineration ash can be discharged smoothly is because there is provided means for applying a mechanical shock or vibration to the damper when the opening is opened. Therefore, even when the opening of the opening is maximized as described above, the incineration ash is smoothly discharged even if the inclination angle of the damper is less than 90 °.
It should be noted that even when one of the two gates provided on the chute is a slide gate and the other one is the discharge gate (damper) according to the present invention, the time period when the sealing performance is slightly incomplete. However, the leakage is small.
The method of using the incineration ash discharge device described in the claim is such that when using the above incineration ash discharge device, the dampers in the two incineration ash discharge gates are alternately arranged so as not to open each of the openings simultaneously. It is characterized by swinging operation.
According to this method of use, since the opening of the chute is always sealed in at least one of the discharge gates, the incineration ash can be discharged while ensuring the sealability of the incinerator. According to this method, for example, the discharge gates are opened in the order shown in FIGS. 5A to 5C (both are not opened at the same time), and the incineration ash is discharged without causing the inflow of outside air to the incinerator. Is possible.
When the above method of use is followed, the damper of the incineration ash discharge gate provided above the two units closes the opening, and then the incineration ash accumulates on the upper surface until it touches the entire inner surface of the opening. It is particularly preferable that the opening is opened and closed with a frequency of opening the opening (after the incineration ash that covers the contact portion between the opening and the damper has accumulated, for example, as shown in FIG. 5A).
Then, in addition to at least one of the two discharge gates being closed, in the closed discharge gate, due to the action of incinerated ash accumulated on the upper surface of the damper (so-called material seal) over a certain period of time. The sealing performance is also ensured. If it is considered that a double seal can be achieved by using two discharge gates, a triple seal can be realized if the action of incinerated ash is also used as described above.
This method of use is not limited to the incinerator ash discharge device of the above-mentioned claim, but, for example, the discharge gate of the above-mentioned claim and the discharge gate of a type not corresponding to the one of the claim (for example, the slide gate of FIG. It is also effective when using a discharge device in which the latter is placed on a series of chutes with the latter facing upward. In the latter discharge gate, the sealing performance is ensured by the action of the incineration ash deposited on the upper surface of the damper for a certain period of time, so incineration in combination with the characteristics of the former discharge gate (the above-mentioned claim) The ash discharging device exhibits a preferable sealing property as a whole.
In each incineration ash discharge gate, when opening the opening by swinging the damper from the state of closing the opening,
・ At the beginning (when the inclination angle is small for the damper that has started to open from the horizontal state), it is swung at a low speed (lower speed than that afterwards)
-After that, it is preferable to swing at a high speed (high speed compared to the initial speed). Note that the “velocity” is determined based on, for example, an angular velocity.
If the damper is swung at the same speed from the beginning of opening to the maximum opening, a large amount of incineration ash is discharged from the beginning of opening, and a device that receives the incineration ash below (such as other discharge gates and carry-out conveyors) ) Is subject to shocking loads. However, if the damper is initially swung at a low speed and then swung at a high speed, the incineration ash is discharged little by little at the beginning of opening, and when the incineration ash on the damper is low By quickly discharging a small amount of incineration ash, the discharge amount per unit time while the damper swings can be made almost constant. By doing so, it is possible to reduce the mechanical burden on the apparatus below, and it is advantageous in that they can be operated smoothly.
Further, when the striking member is provided on a part of the chute as described above, it is particularly advantageous to increase the swing speed at the end of the swing period of the damper. This is because the damper hits the striking member strongly, and the incinerated ash on the damper falls smoothly upon receiving a strong impact.
According to the incineration ash discharge gate recited in the claims, the incineration ash can be discharged in a dry state, and the inside of the chute can be sealed while exhibiting high sealing performance. This is because when the downward opening in the chute is closed by the damper, the periphery of the opening is sealed through the packing.
If a replaceable liner is attached to the top surface of the damper, and an air layer for insulation or a flow path for cooling fluid (such as air or water) is formed between the damper and the liner, the temperature rise of the damper is suppressed. Moreover, the deterioration of the sealing performance due to thermal deformation is also prevented.
If the damper, the opening, etc. are formed of a non-magnetic material, it is possible to avoid a situation where a magnet or the like contained in the incineration ash adheres to hinder the function of the gate.
In addition, the outer periphery of the damper included in the seal part is formed by a separate member from the damper body, and is joined to the inner part of the damper via a heat insulating material, reducing the thermal burden on the packing and making it durable. There are advantages such as extended life.
In addition, if a part of the chute is provided with a means for applying mechanical shock or vibration in contact with the damper when it is opened, incineration is possible even when the opening of the damper is reduced and the discharge gate is made compact. Ashes can be discharged smoothly.
If a speed adjusting means capable of arbitrarily setting the speed of the damper during the swinging is provided, it becomes possible to appropriately control the incineration ash discharge speed (discharge amount per unit time).
The incinerator ash discharge device described in the claims is provided with two incineration ash discharge gates in a series of chutes, and is configured to be able to swing the damper at each discharge gate independently. Incineration ash can be discharged while always ensuring completeness.
In particular, when it is opened, it is provided with a means for contacting the damper and imparting a mechanical impact and the like, and by setting the maximum inclination angle of the damper to 30 to 80 °, the incineration ash can be discharged smoothly even though it is compact. An incineration ash discharge device is realized.
In the method of using the incinerator ash discharge device described in the claims, when the above discharge device is used, the dampers in the two discharge gates are alternately swung so as not to be opened simultaneously. Therefore, it is possible to discharge the incineration ash without causing the inflow of outside air to the incinerator.
The damper of the incineration ash discharge gate provided above opens and closes the opening, and then opens and closes until the incineration ash accumulates on the upper surface until it touches the entire inner surface of the opening. If used, a triple seal can be realized, and a higher sealing performance is secured.
At each discharge gate, when the damper is opened, it is initially swung at a low speed and then swung at a high speed, so that the discharge amount per unit time while the damper is swung is substantially constant. It becomes possible to reduce the mechanical burden of the apparatus below.
One form regarding implementation of invention is shown in FIGS. FIG. 1 is a longitudinal sectional view showing an incineration
The
The incineration
First, as shown in FIG. 1, a damper
Simply covering the
The packing 16 has an annular shape surrounding the
The
As shown in FIG. 2A, a
The
The
As shown in FIG. 1, the damper 10 (damper main body 13) closes the
Since the
In the
In each of the
The
If the
The
