Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a roving package formed by wrapping a wound body in which a roving such as glass fiber is wound into a cylindrical shape.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A roving used as a reinforcing material for fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) ordinarily is obtained by wrapping a wound body wound in a hollow cylindrical shape with circular end faces with a packaging material obtained by thermally shrinking a covering material. It is stored. When the roving is used, the roving is pulled out from the inside of the cylinder, that is, from the hollow portion.
[0003]
The covering material used for the packaging material of the roving roll as described above is generally a tube-shaped film having a heat shrinkability by subjecting a polyvinyl chloride tube raw material to a stretching process by an inflation method. It is molded into a bag shape by fusing seal or the like.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in recent years, efforts for environmental problems have become active, and there is a tendency to avoid the use of polyvinyl chloride as a dioxin countermeasure. For this reason, it has become necessary to find an alternative material for polyvinyl chloride that forms the packaging material.
[0005]
Further, in the roving package, the form of the roving roll is a cylindrical shape with both end faces being circular, and an opening of the packaging material is located on one end face, but this opening is coaxial with the roving roll. It is envied to become. If the central axis of the roving roll coincides with the center of the opening of the packaging material, the roving can be pulled out smoothly. Accordingly, the present inventors have been forced to develop a roving package satisfying such a demand while examining alternative materials for polyvinyl chloride.
[0006]
The present invention has been made under such a background, and provides a roving packaging body that does not use polyvinyl chloride and in which the central axis of the roving winding body and the center of the opening of the packaging material substantially coincide with each other. Is an issue.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, a roving package of the present invention comprises a roving wound body in which a roving is wound in a cylindrical shape, and packaging the roving wound body, and an opening on one end surface of the roving wound body. A roving packaging body having a polyolefin-based packaging material, wherein the packaging material has an axial heat shrinkage rate of 15% or less and a circumferential heat shrinkage rate of 30%. It is characterized by heat shrinking a covering material that is at least%.
[0008]
When the thermal contraction of the covering material in the axial direction and the circumferential direction of the cylindrical roving wound body is substantially equal, the present inventors have a large thermal contraction in the axial direction. It was found that it also deviates from the central axis of the roving roll. On the other hand, in the roving package of the present invention, since the thermal contraction rate in the axial direction of the covering material is as small as 15% or less, the opening of the packaging material substantially coincides with the central axis of the roving wound body, and Since the thermal contraction rate in the circumferential direction of the workpiece is as large as 30% or more, the packaging material can be adhered to the roving roll. In addition, since it becomes difficult to manufacture a covering material in which the thermal shrinkage in the circumferential direction exceeds 70%, the thermal shrinkage rate in the circumferential direction is preferably set to 70% or less. Moreover, the problem of dioxin generation is eliminated by forming the packaging material from a polyolefin-based material.
[0009]
Conventionally, a roving wound body is packaged by heat-shrinking a covering material made from a tube-shaped film, so that there is no adhesive portion of the film in the axial direction of the roving wound body. For this reason, when the roving is unwound, the packaging material is likely to lose its shape, and the roving cannot be unwound smoothly until the end.
[0010]
In consideration of such circumstances, in the present invention, the enveloping material is composed of a polyolefin film material, and has one or two or more bonded portions in which the overlapped end portions of the film material are bonded to each other. extends in the axial direction of the roving Makitai.
[0011]
In such a configuration, the bonding portion of the packaging material becomes stronger, so that most of the roving is pulled out from the roving roll, making it difficult to lose shape even when only the packaging material is used, and it is easy to pull out the roving to the end. can do. Note that the width of the bonded portion may be determined in consideration of the degree of shape loss. Further, the ends overlapped by folding the film material may be bonded to each other, or two or more film materials may be bonded so that the ends overlap. If there is even one adhesive portion extending in the axial direction of the roving roll, it contributes to preventing the collapse of the shape, but if it is 2 or more, it is possible to further prevent the deformation of the shape.
[0012]
In the roving package of the present invention, the covering material is formed by bending one film material so that a three-side overlapping portion is formed, and two of the three-side overlapping portions are overlapped. While the mating portion is bonded to form a bag, it is preferable that the overlapping portion on one side that is not bonded becomes the opening.
[0013]
When such a configuration is adopted, the packaging material has at least one adhesive portion in the radial direction (width direction) of the bottom portion of the bag and the depth direction of the bag, or at least in the depth direction of the bag. It will have two adhesion parts. That is, one bonding portion extends in each of the axial direction of the roving roll and the radial direction of the bottom, or at least two bonding portions extend in the axial direction of the roving roll. For this reason, even when a lot of roving is pulled out from the roving roll, it is possible to suppress the deformation of the packaging material.
[0014]
In particular, the packaging material in which the overlapping portions of the two sides extending from the both side ends of the folded portion of the film material are bonded to each other, so that at least two bonding portions extend in the axial direction of the roving winding body. It can be effectively prevented and the roving can be pulled out more smoothly to the end.
[0015]
Further, in the roving package of the present invention, the covering material is formed by overlapping two film materials so that a four-side overlapping portion is formed, and three of the four-side overlapping portions are overlapped. It is also preferable that the mating portion is bonded to form a bag, and the overlapping portion of one side that is not bonded becomes the opening.
[0016]
When such a configuration is adopted, the packaging material has at least one adhesive portion on the bottom and at least two adhesive portions in the depth direction of the bag. That is, the packaging material in the roving package has at least two adhesive portions extending in the axial direction of the roving roll and at least one adhesive portion extending at the bottom. Therefore, it is possible to effectively suppress the shape loss of the packaging material.
[0017]
In addition, if the covering material of the above forms prepares 1 or 2 or more elongate films, and it produces it so that a packaging material may be cut out from the end of this elongate film, workability | operativity will improve. .
[0018]
In the roving package of the present invention, the method for adhering the end portions of the film material for forming the covering material is not particularly limited, such as ultrasonic sealing, adhesive bonding, heat sealing, etc. The seal is preferable in order to cause unevenness on the seal surface, particularly strengthen the stiffness of the packaging material at the bonded portion, and to particularly suppress the deformation of the packaging material itself.
[0019]
Furthermore, in the roving packaging body of the present invention, the outermost layer roving of the roving winding body is held between the roving winding body and the packaging material, and the heat adhered to both the roving winding body and the packaging material. It is preferable to further include an adhesive collapse prevention member.

By adopting the configuration as shown in FIGS. 3A to 3C, the packaging material has at least one adhesive portion extending in the axial direction of the roving roll. Since the packaging material at the bonded portion is strong, even if the roving is pulled out and the content of the packaging material is almost empty, it becomes difficult to lose its shape, and the roving can be easily pulled out to the end.
[0030]
The bonding method of each bonding portion in one film material may be different, but the same is preferable in order to reduce variation in bonding strength. In FIG. 3, they are bonded by ultrasonic sealing. That is, the end portion of the film material 40 is melted by ultrasonic waves, thereby achieving adhesion.
[0031]
The form of the covering material may be any of FIGS. 3 (a) to 3 (c), but two adhesive portions extend in the axial direction of the roving roll in order to suppress the deformation of the packaging material itself. The form shown in 3 (b) or (c) is preferred. Further, if three or more films are bonded so that the end portions overlap, the three or more bonded portions can be extended in the axial direction of the roving roll, and further, deformation of the shape can be suppressed. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 3 (a), only one

[0035]
The thermal shrinkage of the covering material needs to be 15% or less in the bag depth direction (H direction in FIG. 3) of the covering material 40 when measured in a glycerin bath at 110 ° C. It is suitable that it is 3 to 10%. Further, the width direction of the bag of the covering material 40 (L direction in FIG. 3) needs to be 30% or more, preferably 30% to 70%, and more preferably 40 to 60%. . In other words, it is preferable to set stretching conditions such as the stretching temperature and stretch ratio of the film material 40 and to set the temperature and time at which the covering material is thermally shrunk so as to achieve such a heat shrinkage rate.
[0036]
In order to produce the
[0037]
The temperature at which the covering material 40 is thermally shrunk is preferably 90 ° C to 130 ° C, more preferably 105 ° C to 115 ° C. If the temperature is higher than the upper limit of the above range, the sizing agent adhering to the glass fiber surface may be altered and roving may not be drawn out smoothly. On the other hand, if the temperature is lower than the lower limit of the above range, the covering material 40 formed of a polyolefin-based material is unlikely to thermally shrink.
[0038]
At this time, since the thermal contraction rate in the width direction (L direction shown in FIG. 3) of the covering material 40 is large on the side surface of the cylindrical

[0045]
As mentioned above, although the invention made by the present inventors has been specifically described based on the embodiments, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments.
[0046]
For example, the manufacturing method of the covering material 40 can be continuously manufactured from a long film in addition to the above-described manufacturing method, and the film material does not necessarily have a three-layer structure, but two layers or less, or four layers. That's all.
[0047]
Further, in the second embodiment, instead of extending the collapsing prevention member in the axial direction of the roving roll and attaching a plurality of pieces in the circumferential direction of the roving roll, the roving roll is covered with the tubular collapsing prevention member. It may be.
[0048]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, in the roving package according to the present invention, the enveloping material whose shrinkage rate is larger in the circumferential direction than in the axial direction of the roving roll is heat-shrinked and packaged. Accordingly, since the shrinkage rate in the longitudinal direction of the covering material is small, the opening of the packaging material substantially coincides with the central axis of the roving roll, and since the shrinkage rate in the width direction is large, the packaging material is used as the roving roll. It can be adhered. Further, since the packaging material is made of a polyolefin-based material when incinerated, the problem of dioxin generation is eliminated.
[0049]
Furthermore, by extending the adhesive portion in the longitudinal direction of the covering material, the packaging material can be prevented from being deformed even when the roving is almost lost, and the roving can be pulled out more smoothly to the end.
