しかし、ビスマス(Bi)を相対的に多く含むBi−In−Pb−Sn合金、あるいはInを相対的に多く含むIn−Bi合金、In−Bi−Sn合金などを使用することもできる。
【0093】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a rotary anode type X-ray tube in which a dynamic pressure type slide bearing is provided in a rotation mechanism that rotatably supports an anode target.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The rotating anode type X-ray tube has a structure in which an anode target that emits X-rays is rotatably supported by a rotating mechanism, and an electron beam is irradiated to the anode target that rotates at high speed to emit X-rays from the anode target. It has become. The rotation mechanism that supports the anode target is composed of a rotating part that rotates and a fixed part that does not rotate, and a bearing is provided between the rotating part and the fixed part.
[0003]
A rolling anode type X-ray tube bearing is a rolling bearing such as a ball bearing, or a helical groove formed on the bearing surface, and is made of gallium (Ga) or gallium (Ga) -indium (In) -tin (Sn) alloy. A dynamic pressure type plain bearing that supplies such a liquid metal lubricant to a spiral groove portion or the like is used.
[0004]
Here, a conventional rotary anode X-ray tube will be described with reference to FIG. 9 taking as an example a case where a dynamic pressure type plain bearing is used.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the conventional rotary anode type X-ray tube, when the heat generated in the anode target is released, for example, it is transmitted from the rotary body to which the anode target is fixed to the fixed body through a hydrodynamic slide bearing and is released from the fixed body. In this method, in order to increase the heat transfer coefficient from the anode target to the rotating body, for example, when the area of the connecting portion between the anode target and the rotating body is widened, the temperature of the bearing portion increases during operation. As a result, the bearing surface may become rough due to the interaction between the material forming the bearing and the liquid metal lubricant, or the bearing clearance may change depending on the reaction product, and stable bearing operation may not be maintained. is there.
[0016]
Further, when the bearing surface of the hydrodynamic slide bearing is formed of a refractory metal such as a molybdenum alloy, it is difficult to process and is expensive, so that there is a problem of increasing the cost of the X-ray tube. Furthermore, there is a problem that galling is likely to occur when the rotation-side bearing surface and the stationary-side bearing surface are mechanically rubbed at the time of starting and stopping rotation.
[0017]
The hydrodynamic slide bearing has the advantages of low noise and vibration during rotation, low wear, and long life. However, in order to suppress the temperature rise of the bearing surface, a heat insulating structure is required, and the structure is complicated.
[0018]
For example, when the rotating anode X-ray tube enters an operating state and the rotating portion of the rotating mechanism starts rotating, the shear energy of the liquid metal lubricant is converted into heat, and the bearing portion generates heat. The bearing portion is heated by the anode target and the stator, and the temperature of the bearing portion rises.
[0019]
Therefore, the heat of the anode target and the heat of the rotating body due to the induction electromagnetic field are prevented from being transmitted to the bearing portion. For example, the cross-sectional area of the rotating column is reduced to reduce the amount of heat transfer, or the heat transfer path from the collision region of the electron beam on the anode target to the rotating column is lengthened. In addition, there are a method of cooling by flowing a cooling medium in a cooling passage provided inside the fixed body, and a method of providing a blackening film on the outer surface of the rotating body to promote radiation and release heat.
[0020]
The method of reducing the heat transfer area of the rotating strut has a problem that the mechanical strength is weakened. Moreover, since the junction part of a rotary support | pillar and a rotary body becomes high temperature, the mechanical strength at the time of high temperature is requested | required.
[0021]
In the method of lengthening the heat transfer path, the deflection tends to occur when the weight of the anode target increases. An X-ray tube used in a CT apparatus or the like is likely to bend because a strong centrifugal force is applied to the tube. In addition, if the heat transfer path is long, the study of the spring constant for stabilizing the rotation becomes complicated, and design errors are likely to occur. However, if the heat transfer path is shortened, the heat transferred from the anode target to the bearing portion is increased, and the reaction between the member constituting the bearing surface and the liquid metal lubricant is promoted, and the rotational characteristics are deteriorated.
[0022]
The method of providing the blackening film increases the manufacturing cost, and when it falls off, it becomes a foreign substance and becomes a gas generation source, thereby reducing the withstand voltage characteristics.
[0023]
There is also a method of cooling by positively releasing the heat of the anode target via the bearing surface. In this method, since a large amount of heat of several hundred W level flows into the bearing portion, it is necessary to increase the cooling capacity inside the bearing. Therefore, the cooler capacity must be improved, resulting in an increase in size and cost. In addition, since the bearing surface becomes hot, a heat-resistant metal material is used for the bearing surface in order to prevent a diffusion reaction with the liquid metal lubricant, which is expensive.
[0024]
An object of the present invention is to provide a rotating anode type X-ray tube that solves the above-described drawbacks, suppresses a temperature rise of a hydrodynamic slide bearing portion, and can maintain a stable bearing operation.
[0025]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to the present invention, an anode target provided in a vacuum vessel, and the anode target are rotatably supported, and a hydrodynamic slide bearing is provided in a first region where a rotating part and a fixed part are opposed to each other with a predetermined first gap. In the rotary anode X-ray tube provided with the rotating mechanism, the rotating part and the fixed part are opposed to each other with a second gap larger than the first gap, and the second gap is filled with a liquid metal lubricant. A second region is provided, and the anode target is directly or indirectly connected to the rotating portion of the second region.

Alternatively, a metal material mainly composed of iron can be used as a base material, and the surface including the bearing regions L1 to L4 and the non-bearing region L5 can be heat-resistant coated with the above-described high melting point material.

In this case, a liquid metal lubricant is present at the joint portions X1 and X2. Most brazing materials are eroded by liquid metal lubricants. Therefore, the joining portions X1 and X2 are joined by an atomic diffusion joining method such as friction welding.
[0045]
According to the configuration described above, the bearing surfaces of the bearing regions L1 to L4 are formed of iron-based metal. Since iron-based metals are easy to process, bearings can be manufactured with high precision. Further, since the iron-based metal is a ferromagnetic material, the magnetic coupling efficiency with the rotating magnetic field is improved. Further, if a thin film such as titanium nitride ceramics is provided on the non-bearing surface of the non-bearing region L5, the mechanical strength at high temperature is increased, and erosion by the liquid metal lubricant can be prevented.

When calculated in the case of 8 to 9 L / min, the structure of the invention of FIG. 6 is about 100 to 150 ° C. at the bearing side end of the

[0088]
In each of the embodiments described above, the distance from the anode target to the rotating body portion in the non-bearing region is shorter than the distance from the anode target to the rotating body portion in the bearing region. With this configuration, the heat transmitted from the rotating body to the stationary body via the non-bearing area is increased, and the temperature rise in the bearing area is suppressed.
[0089]
However, if the connecting part connecting the rotor part and anode target in the non-bearing area and the connecting part connecting the rotor part and anode target in the bearing area are different in shape, material, cooling conditions, etc., the former connecting part The same effect can be obtained if the thermal distance is shorter than the latter connecting structure portion.
[0090]
For example, the connecting portion connecting the rotating body portion facing the non-bearing region and the anode target is formed of a structure or material that increases the heat transfer speed, or faces the non-bearing region. The rotating body part is formed of a structure or material that increases the amount of heat transfer per unit area at the same time, or the rotating body part facing the non-bearing region is per unit time and unit area. It is formed in a structure or material that increases the amount of heat transfer. Also in these cases, when the heat is transferred from the rotating body to the fixed body, the heat passing through the non-bearing region increases, and the temperature rise in the bearing region can be suppressed.
[0091]
In addition, a spiral groove can be formed on the surface of the rotating body or fixed body in the non-bearing region. When the spiral groove is provided, when the rotating body rotates, the spiral groove functions to hold the liquid metal lubricant in the gap, and heat transfer from the rotating body to the fixed body through the non-bearing region is performed well. Is called.
[0092]
For the liquid metal lubricant used in each of the above embodiments, a material mainly composed of Ga, such as Ga or Ga—In—Sn, is used. However, a Bi-In-Pb-Sn alloy containing a relatively large amount of bismuth (Bi), an In-Bi alloy containing a relatively large amount of In, an In-Bi-Sn alloy, or the like can also be used.
[0093]
Since the liquid metal lubricant has a melting point of room temperature or higher, it is desirable to preheat the liquid metal lubricant to a temperature equal to or higher than the melting point and rotate the anode target before rotating the anode target.
[0094]
In addition, according to the above-described configuration, the average value of the input power to the anode target can be made relatively large, a stable anode operation performance can be obtained for a long time, and a rotary anode X-ray tube having a high cooling rate can be obtained. It is done. Further, the occurrence of galling of the bearing portion at the start and stop of rotation is prevented, the bearing operation is stabilized, and an inexpensive rotary anode X-ray tube can be obtained.
[0095]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, a rotating anode X-ray tube that maintains stable bearing operation can be realized.
