Abstract
Description
【0001】

【0127】

In particular, it relates to a packaging machine that can package a primary article in a carton selected from two or more sizes or two or more types of cartons.
[0002]
[Background Art and Problems to be Solved by the Invention]
Most of the known packaging machines are dedicated machines that are configured to assemble only one size and one type of carton. Therefore, in recent bottling plants, it is necessary to use a plurality of packaging machines when packaging various types of cartons. Each of these packaging machines takes up considerable floor space and is expensive both in terms of equipment and operation.
[0003]
In some packaging machines, packaging using different sizes and different types of cartons, such as cartons that package six, eight or twelve packs in a roll-up manner Can do. In such machines, adjustment is always required when switching from one size or type of carton to another size or type of carton. In such an adjustment step, all cartons remaining in the packaging machine are manually removed and mechanical adjustments of the machine components are made if possible. During such switching, which can take as long as 30 minutes or more, the machine cannot be used (known as “down time”). This is a significant delay in bottling plants. Such a delay can be a stop time for the entire bottling line as well as for the packaging machine itself if a problem occurs during the switching step.
