可変容量の第1圧縮機(2)と第1凝縮器(6)と過冷却熱交換器(8)と第1膨張機構(10)と第1蒸発器(12)とが順に接続されて冷凍サイクルを行う主冷媒回路(1b)と、第2圧縮機(20)と第2凝縮器(24)と第2膨張機構(26)と上記過冷却熱交換器(8)とが順に接続されて冷凍サイクルを行う過冷却回路(1a)と、上記第1圧縮機(2)の容量を調整可能な第1容量調整手段とを備えた冷凍装置であって、
上記第2圧縮機(20)が可変容量圧縮機(20)で構成され、
上記主冷媒回路(1b)の高圧冷媒圧力を検知する第1高圧冷媒圧力検知手段(5)と、上記過冷却回路(1a)の高圧冷媒圧力を検知する第2高圧冷媒圧力検知手段(23)と、上記第2圧縮機(20)の容量を調整可能な第2容量調整手段とを備え、
