この発明は、たとえばNC工作機械に用いられる回転位置決め機構に関する。

たとえば5軸制御マシニングセンタの主軸頭や、傾斜テーブルなどのNC工作機械における回転体の回転位置決め機構としては、従来、歯車装置が用いられていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、歯車装置においては、位置決め剛性を増大させるためには、減速比を大きくしなければならず、位置決め剛性の高剛性化と位置決め速度の高速化の両方を同時に満たすことができないという問題がある。また、歯車の歯が摩耗しやすく、耐久性に劣るという問題がある。さらに、歯車のバックラッシュなどの影響で位置決め精度が十分ではないという問題がある。

この発明の目的は、上記問題を解決し、位置決め剛性の高剛性化と位置決め速度の高速化の両方を同時に満たすことが可能であるとともに、耐久性に優れている回転位置決め機構を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段と発明の効果】
請求項1の発明による回転位置決め機構は、主軸頭が取り付けられた回転体の回転位置を決定する回転位置決め機構であって、1つの直線上を直線移動する2つの移動体を有する回転駆動装置と、回転体と一方の移動体との間に設けられたリンクとを備えており、回転体が回転駆動装置の他方の移動体に、移動体の移動方向と直角をなす軸線の周りに回転自在に枢着され、リンクの両端部が、回転体の回転中心線と平行な軸線の周りに揺動しうるように、回転体における回転中心線からずれた部分および一方の移動体にそれぞれ枢着され、主軸頭が、回転体の回転により向きを変えるように、回転体に取り付けられているているものである。
請求項2の発明による回転位置決め機構は、工作物を取り付けるための凹部を有する傾斜テーブルからなる回転体の回転位置を決定する回転位置決め機構であって、1つの直線上を直線移動する2つの移動体を有する回転駆動装置と、回転体と一方の移動体との間に設けられたリンクとを備えており、回転体が回転駆動装置の他方の移動体に、移動体の移動方向と直角をなす軸線の周りに回転自在に枢着され、リンクの両端部が、回転体の回転中心線と平行な軸線の周りに揺動しうるように、回転体における回転中心線からずれた部分および一方の移動体にそれぞれ枢着され、回転体が、回転体の回転中心線の周りに回転するとともに回転体の回転により向きを変える平面を有しており、当該平面に、工作物を取り付けるための凹部が形成されているものである。

この実施形態は図1〜図6に示すものであり、この発明による回転位置決め機構を、NC工作機械の主軸頭が取り付けられる回転体に適用したものである。図1〜図3は実施形態1の回転位置決め機構の全体構成を示し、図4および図5はその要部を示し、図6は回転位置決め機構の電気的構成を示す。なお、実施形態1に関する説明において、図1の上下、左右をそれぞれ上下、左右というものとし、図2の左側を前、右側を後というものとする。

図1〜図3において、NC工作機械の回転位置決め機構は、コラム(1)の前面に設けられかつ主軸頭(2)が取り付けられた回転体(3)の回転位置を決定するものであり、上下方向に伸びる1つの直線上を直線移動する上下2つの移動体(4)(5)を有する回転駆動装置(6)と、回転体(3)と上側の移動体(4)との間に設けられたリンク(7)とを備えている。

各移動体(4)(5)の後面には、横断面U字状でかつガイドレール(8)に案内されて移動する上下左右の4つのランナ(15)が固定されている。図4に示すように、各ランナ(15)の左右両立ち上がり部(15a)の内側面に、それぞれボールガイド溝(16)が形成されている。また、ガイドレール(8)の左右両側面に、それぞれランナ(15)のボールガイド溝(16)と対応するボールガイド溝(17)が形成されている。各ランナ(15)のボールガイド溝(16)とこれに対応するガイドレール(8)のボールガイド溝(17)とによりボール往路(18)が形成されている。また、各ランナ(15)の立ち上がり部(15a)におけるボールガイド溝(16)よりも左右方向外側部分に穴状ボール復路(19)が形成されている。そして、ボール往路(18)の端部とボール復路の端部とが、各ランナ(15)の上下両端部に形成されたボール反転路(図示略)により連結されて無端状ボール循環路(20)が形成されており、ボール循環路(20)に複数の循環ボール(21)が封入されている。ボール往路(18)においては、ボール(21)に予圧が付与されている。

図5に示すように、サーボモータ(11)は移動体(4)(5)に固定されたモータハウジング(22)と、ロータ(23)と、ステータ(24)とを備えている。モータハウジング(22)内に、中空状回転軸(25)が、その上下両端部がモータハウジング(22)外に突出するように配されており、ボールねじ軸(9)がこの回転軸(25)に通されている。回転軸(25)の上下両端部は、それぞれアンギュラ玉軸受(26)(27)によりモータハウジング(22)に対して回転自在に支持されている。両アンギュラ玉軸受(26)(27)はそれぞれラジアル荷重と1方向のスラスト荷重を支持するものであり、正面組み合わせとなされている。回転軸(25)の外周にロータ(23)が設けられ、その周囲のモータハウジング(22)の内周にステータ(24)が設けられている。両アンギュラ玉軸受(26)(27)の玉(26a)(27a)にはそれぞれ予圧が付与されている。回転軸(25)の下端部に、カップリング(28)を介してボールナット(10)が連結されている。そして、サーボモータ(11)により回転軸(25)を回転させるとボールナット(10)が回転してボールねじ軸(9)の長手方向に移動し、これによりカップリング(28)、回転軸(25)およびモータハウジング(22)を介して移動体(4)(5)が上下方向に移動させられる。

上記構成のNC工作機械の回転位置決め機構において、入力された目標値(回転体(3)の角度と位置)に対してCNC部(30)が関数発生を行い、座標変換により各移動体(4)(5)ごとに移動量を分配して、各制御装置(31A)(31B)がこれに合わせた電力を各電力増幅器(32A)(32B)を介して各サーボモータ(11)に出力する。すると、ボールナット(10)が回転させられて両移動体(4)(5)が直線的に移動し、回転体(3)も直線的に移動する。ここで、両移動体(4)(5)の移動速度および移動方向が同じ場合には、回転体(3)は回転せずに、直線的な移動のみを行う。これに対し、両移動体(4)(5)の移動速度または移動方向が異なる場合には、リンク(7)の働きにより、回転体(3)は直線的移動に加えて所定角度回転させられる。このとき、両移動体(4)(5)の位置と速度が位置検出器(33A)(33B)により検出され、各制御装置(31A)(31B)の位置制御部(34A)(34B)および速度制御部(35A)(35B)にフィードバックされる。すると、各制御装置(31A)(31B)は、この位置データおよび速度データに基づいて両移動体(4)(5)の必要な位置および速度が得られるように、各電力増幅器(32A)(32B)を介して各サーボモータ(11)に出力する電力を調整する。位置検出器(33A)(33B)は、回転体(3)の回転中心(回転角度位置検出用)と、回転体(3)が枢着された移動体(5)(直線位置検出用)に取り付けられていてもよい。

この実施形態は図10に示すものであり、この発明による回転位置決め機構を、NC工作機械の傾斜テーブルに適用したものである。なお、実施形態3に関する説明において、図10の上下、左右をそれぞれ上下、左右というものとする。図10において、NC工作機械の回転位置決め機構は、ベース(70)の上面に設けられた傾斜テーブル(71)の回転位置を決定するものであり、1直線上を左右方向に直線移動する左右2つの移動体(5)(4)を有する回転駆動装置(6)と、傾斜テーブル(71)と一方の移動体(4)との間に設けられたリンク(7)とを備えている。そして、コラム(1)に代えてベース(70)を用いた点、および回転体(3)に代えて傾斜テーブル(71)を用いた点を除いては、実施形態1の回転位置決め機構と同様な構成であり、同一部分には同一符号を付して重複する説明を省略する。なお、図10において、右の移動体(4)が実施形態1の上の移動体(4)に該当し、左の移動体(5)が同じく下の移動体(5)に該当する。また、実施形態1における回転体(3)の支持部(3a)(3c)に該当するのが、傾斜テーブル(71)の支持部(71a)(71b)である。
