[Problems to be Solved by the Invention, Means for Solving Problems, and Effects]
An object of the present invention is to reduce the thickness of a bracket that holds a knee pad. This problem is solved by making the bracket have the structure of each aspect described below. As with the claims, each aspect is divided into sections, each section is numbered, and is described in a form that cites the numbers of other sections as necessary. This is merely for the purpose of facilitating understanding of the technology described in this specification, and the technical features described in this specification and combinations thereof should not be interpreted as being limited to the following items. Absent. In addition, when a plurality of items are described in one section, it is not always necessary to employ all items together, and it is also possible to take out only some items and employ them.
[0005]
(1) A bracket for holding a kneepad,
A holding plate for holding the knee pad and a pair of side walls extending toward the front of the vehicle in a state of being opposed to each other from both side ends of the holding plate, and attached to the vehicle at the pair of side walls,
The holding plate is provided with a first bead extending in the width direction of the vehicle from one to the other of the both side ends of the holding plate, and a second bead having a U-shape is a portion corresponding to the bottom of the U-shape. The portions corresponding to the two U-shaped arms located below the first bead and extending upward from the bottom thereof are respectively provided in a state of being continuous with the first bead, and
In each of the pair of side walls, a third bead is connected to each end of the first bead at each end of the third bead, and the bracket is attached to the vehicle. A knee pad holding bracket provided in a state extending in a direction substantially parallel to the approach direction (Claim 1) .
The knee pad holding bracket generally has a groove shape, has a holding plate and a pair of side walls extending from both side ends of the holding plate, and is attached to the vehicle at the pair of side walls.
The holding plate is provided with a first bead extending in the width direction and a second bead that is generally U-shaped. The second bead is provided in a state where the bottom portion is located below the first bead and a portion corresponding to a U-shaped arm extending upward from the bottom portion is continuous with the first bead.
Each of the pair of side walls is provided with a third bead that is continuous with the first bead and extends in a direction substantially parallel to the approach direction of the occupant's knee.
The “direction substantially parallel to the passenger's knee approach direction” is preferably “direction parallel to the passenger's knee approach direction”, but the “passenger knee approach direction” itself is the driver's knee approach direction. Since the angle changes within a certain range depending on the physique and the manner of movement of the knee, the bead extension direction may be deviated from the approach direction of the knee.
In this way, if a bead extending substantially parallel to the approach direction of the knee is provided on each of the pair of side walls, for example, a desired strength can be obtained while reducing the thickness of the bracket.
(2) The knee pad holding bracket according to (1), wherein the third bead is provided in a state extending between both end portions in the front-rear direction of each of the side walls.
The bead extends over both end portions of the side wall (both end portions in a direction substantially parallel to the passenger's knee approach direction and both end portions in a direction substantially parallel to the vehicle front-rear direction).
In addition, since the bead is provided in a state extending over both end portions in the front-rear direction of the side wall, the strength of the bracket can be increased and it is difficult to buckle compared to a case where the bead is provided in a part between both end portions. be able to. As a result, even if the driver's knees enter, the bracket is difficult to break, and the thickness of the bracket can be reduced accordingly.
(3) The knee pad holding bracket according to (1) or (2), wherein the third bead is provided so as to substantially coincide with an approach path of a passenger's knee.
It is more effective if the bead is provided in a state that substantially matches the knee approach path.
( 4 ) The knee pad holding bracket according to any one of (1) to (3) , wherein a fourth bead different from the third bead is provided on each of the pair of side walls. Item 2).
(5) the distance between the pair of side walls is greater with increasing distance from the holding plate (1) through (4) kneepad retaining bracket according to any one of claims (claim 3).
In the bracket having the groove shape, the distance between the side walls is larger at the opening than at the bottom of the groove. As a result, when a large force is applied to the bottom, it can be made difficult to fall down. In the bracket described in this section, for example, it is desirable that the angle formed by the holding plate and the side wall is 90 degrees to 120 degrees, or 90 degrees to 105 degrees.
(6) at least, to each of the pair of side walls extending out flange inwardly respectively provided (1) to item (5) kneepad retaining bracket according to any one of claims (claim 4 )
The flange is often provided at the end of the side wall (both ends in the longitudinal direction of the groove of the bracket having a groove shape), but may be provided at the intermediate part. The flanges are provided so as to extend inward, that is, in a state in which the end surfaces of the flanges extend in directions approaching each other. If a flange is provided, the bracket can be made difficult to deform. For example, the bracket can be prevented from falling down.
The flange may be provided by bending the same plate-shaped member on the side wall, or may be fixed to the side wall by welding or the like.
The flange can also be provided on the holding plate. Further, the flange provided on the holding plate and the flange provided on each of the pair of side walls may be provided integrally or may be separate.
( 7 ) The holding plate and the pair of side walls are manufactured by bending a plate-like member, and an attachment flange is provided by bending an end of each of the pair of side walls opposite to the holding plate. is, the bead is kneepad mounting bracket according to any one of the to the bent portion of the mounting flange in which extends up to the bent portion of the holding plate (1) in claim (6) of this section.
Since the bead is provided so as to extend from the bent portion to the bent portion, the strength of the bracket can be increased.
(8) in the holding plate, for kneepad attachment according to any one of the first direction and to have (1) no claim is provided a bead which extends at least one of the second direction (7) section which are perpendicular to each other bracket.
When a force perpendicular to the holding plate and directed toward the front of the vehicle is applied to the holding plate, the bead extending in the first direction is difficult to bend in the first direction. When viewed from a direction parallel to the holding plate and perpendicular to the first direction, the bend that extends in the second direction is held by the holding plate. Curving in a form that is convex toward the front of the vehicle when viewed from a direction parallel to the plate and perpendicular to the second direction is suppressed. For example, the first direction can be the vehicle width direction, and the second direction can be the vehicle vertical direction.
Similarly, it is desirable to provide a plurality of beads on the side wall as well.
(9) the brackets, kneepad mounting bracket according to any one of the holding plate (1) no claim is mounted in a posture substantially perpendicular to the entering direction of the knee of the occupant (8) term.
The pair of side walls may be provided in a state separated in the width direction of the vehicle or may be provided in a state separated in the vertical direction. However, mounting with the pair of side walls separated in the width direction and the longitudinal direction of the holding plate extending in the vertical direction is suitable for absorbing the impact from the knee.
(10) thickness is, to not 1.0mm is 2.0 mm (1) term to (9) knee pad retaining bracket according to any one of claim.
The bracket is manufactured by a plate-like member having a plate thickness of 1.0 mm to 2.0 mm. The plate thickness can be 1.8 mm or less, 1.5 mm or less, or 1.3 mm or less.
When comparing the bracket without the bead described above with the bracket with the bead, the latter can increase the strength of the bracket. The plate thickness can be reduced. By reducing the plate thickness, the weight can be reduced and the cost can be reduced.
On the other hand, it is desirable that the bracket is prevented from being greatly deformed until the knee pad is crushed, and has a strength that allows deformation with the approach of the knee after the knee pad is crushed. By setting the thickness of the bracket to 1.0 mm to 2.0 mm, the bracket can be appropriately deformed.
( 11 ) A bracket for holding a kneepad,
A holding plate for holding the knee pad, and a pair of side walls extending from both side ends of the holding plate to face each other, and at least one bead on each of the pair of side walls. A knee pad holding bracket provided in a state of extending along a substantially vertical plane.
The technical features described in the items (4) to (10) can be adopted for the knee pad holding bracket described in this item .
(12) the at least one bead, each of said side walls, kneepad held according to (11) paragraph which is provided in a state extending to the end opposite to the retaining plate from the end of the holding plate side Bracket for.
The bracket for holding the knee pad has a groove shape having a holding plate and a pair of side walls. The angle formed between the side wall and the holding plate is substantially a right angle, and the beads provided on each of the side walls are provided in a state of extending along a plane substantially perpendicular to the holding plate. Therefore, even if a large force is applied to the holding plate from a direction perpendicular to the holding plate, the side wall can be made difficult to deform, and the strength of the bracket can be increased.
When the bracket is attached in a posture in which the holding plate is substantially perpendicular to the approach direction of the occupant's knee, the pair of side walls will extend in a direction substantially parallel to the approach direction of the knee, The bead extends in a direction substantially parallel to the approach direction of the knee.
