従来の高周波スイッチにおいては、板材の打抜き加工により接触端子を形成しているため、部材の加工は容易な反面、高周波特性面で特にアイソレーション特性を向上させるためのシールド加工を充分行うことが難しいという課題があった。また、加えて接触端子の接点の幅を一定以上確保する必要があることから、接点間の絶縁距離が小さくなる傾向にあり、充分な高周波特性を維持することが困難であった。
