【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an improvement of an optical disk drive device, and more particularly to a technique applicable to all drive devices that perform recording and reproduction on an optical disk such as a CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW, and DVD disk.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, optical disc drive apparatuses capable of recording and reproducing a plurality of types of optical discs such as CD-R, CD-RW, and DVD disc have been commercialized. In such an optical disk drive device for supporting a plurality of types of optical disks, not only the mechanism of the electronic component mounting on the printed circuit board to be incorporated is greatly limited, but the number of electronic components to be mounted is not limited. Therefore, it is becoming increasingly difficult to mount necessary electronic components without increasing the size of the printed circuit board.
FIG. 5A is a schematic exploded perspective view of a main part of a conventional general optical disk drive device. Two parallel slide rails 5 are installed on a plate-like chassis 4 on which a spindle motor 3 having a
FIG. 5B is a schematic cross-sectional view of the main part of the optical disc drive apparatus. One end of the FPC 2 is connected to the
As described above, in the optical disk drive apparatus having the FPC in which one end is connected to the optical pickup and the other end is folded and the other end is connected to the connector installed on the printed board, the FPC and the electronic component on the printed board are in contact with each other. In a specific area, mounting of electronic components is prohibited because of the adverse effects of electrical disturbance. However, this specific region often exists in the vicinity of the center of the printed circuit board, and there is a problem that the difficulty of mounting component layout increases as the FPC becomes wider. Further, when the number of electronic components to be mounted is large, the reduction of the mounting area causes a serious problem that the mounting layout becomes more difficult.
[0003]
In contrast, as shown in FIG. 6, the applicant assigns the shield plate 9 made of a thin metal plate having flexibility so as to cover the region A, thereby causing the FPC 2 to rub. It was proposed to solve the above-mentioned problems (however, not yet known). Since the shield plate 9 is disposed so as to cover the region A and the upper space, the
The shield plate 9 is a flat plate material and has no unevenness like an electronic component. For this reason, even if the FPC and the shield plate are in sliding contact, there is no possibility that the FPC deteriorates.
However, in the above conventional example, since the other end of the shield plate 9 is in direct contact with the printed circuit board, it is impossible to mount an electronic component on that portion of the printed circuit board. This was a cause of hindering the layout flexibility on the substrate.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The present invention has been made in view of the above, and when a shield plate is provided in an area on the printed circuit board where the flexible printed circuit board is close when the optical pickup is moved, the shield board is placed on the printed circuit board on the printed circuit board. It is impossible to mount an electronic component on that part, but it is an issue to expand the part mounting area by removing such a part that cannot be mounted. To do.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, an embodiment of the present invention provides an optical pickup supported so as to be able to advance and retreat in a predetermined direction, a printed circuit board disposed below the optical pickup and mounted with an electronic component, and one end of the optical pickup. An optical disk drive apparatus having a flexible printed circuit board connected to a pickup and having an intermediate portion folded back in a U-shape and connected to a connector having the other end provided on the printed circuit board, wherein the optical pickup moves back and forth A shield plate with which the flexible printed circuit board is slidably contacted is installed in a specific area on the printed circuit board in which the flexible printed circuit board is close, and a specific area on the printed circuit board including a gap between the shield board and the printed circuit board. An electronic component is mounted, and a part of the shield plate is brought into contact with the electronic component mounted on the printed circuit board. Characterized in that was.
According to a second aspect of the present invention, a part of the shield plate is supported by being brought into contact with an electronic component mounted in a specific area on the printed circuit board.
According to a third aspect of the present invention, the shield plate is provided with a spring property.
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, a contact portion between the shield plate and the electronic component is fixed.
According to a fifth aspect of the present invention, the shield plate and the electronic component are fixed using an adhesive tape.
According to a sixth aspect of the present invention, the shield plate and the electronic component are fixed using a double-sided tape.
