Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a hinge structure of a folding door that prevents a finger from being caught in the hinge when opening and closing the folding door, and the appearance of the hinge is substantially the same inside and outside the room.
[0002]
[Prior art]
FIG. 6 shows a conventional open / close operation of a folding door. The folding door is composed of a parent door (A) and a child door (B), and a joint such as a hinge is provided between them so that they can be folded together. Yes. The child door (b) is rotatably attached to the shaft (c) provided on the suspension side, and the slider provided at the upper end of the parent door (b) can move along the upper rail. Therefore, it can be opened and closed with a locus as shown in FIG.
[0003]
The folding door that is attached to the doorway and opens and closes is easier to open and close than the hinged door. Especially when the doorway is wide, if you install a hinged door, when you open and close it by grasping the handle at the tip of the hinged door, the radius of rotation around the axis of the suspension base becomes large and the operation is difficult, and the tip is on the passage side It will protrude greatly. On the other hand, if it is a folding door, since it is a movement along an upper rail as shown in FIG. 6, operation will become comparatively easy.
[0004]
By the way, the folding door is connected so that the parent door (b) and the child door (b) can be folded via a hinge (e), and the handle (d) attached to the tip of the parent door (b) Opening and closing operation is performed by holding. At this time, as is clear from the figure, the hinge part of the folded folding door is opened, and the opening (f) is closed by closing the folding door, but the opening (f) is closed. You may pinch your finger. In addition, the hem of the clothes being worn may be pinched or the belongings may be pinched.
[0005]
Thus, although a hinge part opens because a folding door is folded, in the case of such a hinge part structure, it does not become the same external appearance design in the inside and outside of the room which pinched | interposed the folding door. When the folding door is folded, the side edges of the parent door (A) and the child door (B) are exposed from the opening, and the edges and mounting screws are surfaced. In the case of the hinge shown in the figure, when the folding door is closed in a straight line, a narrow gap is generated between the parent door (A) and the child door (B), and the light leaks. .
[0006]
The “folding door hinge” according to Japanese Patent No. 3240508 eliminates the gap generated between the parent door (A) and the child door (B), and fingers and clothes are sandwiched between the hinges when opening and closing the folding door. It is devised not to. That is, “a pair of eye plate members to be mounted on corresponding side end surfaces of the two door panels, hinge fittings attached to both ends of the eye plate members, and the hinge plate disposed between the eye plate members. A hinge member for relatively rotating the eye plate member via a metal fitting, and the hinge member closes a gap between the eye plate members, and when the eye plate member opens the door panel in a straight line, It is configured to form a space that opens in a V-shape toward the indoor side through the inclined surface on the front side of
[0007]
However, the above-mentioned “folding door hinge” forms a space that opens in a V shape toward the indoor side when the folding door is formed in a straight line, and this space impairs the appearance of the hinge portion of the folding door. That is, it is possible to eliminate a finger being caught during the opening / closing operation, but it is not preferable in view of the folding door to leave the space. The exterior design of the hinge part on the front side and the back side of the folding door differs depending on the space.
[0008]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Thus, the hinge part of the conventional folding door has the above problems. The problem to be solved by the present invention is this problem. The folding door is designed so that fingers and clothes are not caught during the opening and closing operation of the folding door, and the appearance of the hinge portion is substantially the same on both sides of the folding door. A hinge part structure is provided.
[0009]
[Means for solving the problems]
In the hinge structure of the folding door according to the present invention, a side end member having a substantially U-shaped cross section is attached to the side ends of the parent door and the child door, and the hinges formed at one arm end of the side end member are vertically The end is connected through a connecting bracket. A shaft hole is provided in the hinge, and both shaft pins provided so as to protrude from the connecting metal fitting are fitted into the shaft hole to connect the hinges. Therefore, the parent door and the child door are pivoted and folded around the shaft pin of the connecting bracket.
[0010]
In addition to the shaft pin, a hole is formed through the connecting metal fitting, and a screw is inserted into the hole to attach the hinge cover. The hinge cover has the same length as the side end member and fits between the upper and lower connecting brackets, and the connecting brackets are screwed. The hinge cover can close a gap generated between the hinges formed on both end members. An edge cover is formed at the other arm end of the side end member. By making the edge cover and the surface side shape of the hinge similar, the double-sided appearance of the hinge portion becomes substantially the same.
[0011]
The folding door includes the parent door and the child door, and is connected so as to be foldable via a hinge portion. The suspension door side of the child door is rotatably supported. A slider is attached to the upper rail to suspend a parent door, and the slider moves along the upper rail. The basic structure of this folding door is the same as the conventional one, and there is a case where a spring is built in a hinge that pivotally supports the child door so as to be semi-automatic. That is, a manually opened folding door can be closed alone, and conversely, a manually closed folding door can be automatically opened. Hereinafter, embodiments according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
[0012]
【Example】
1 (a) and 1 (b) show a case where the folding door is extended and the doorway is closed, (a) shows an inner front view, (b) shows an outer front view, and 1 in FIG. A parent door 2 represents a child door, and the parent door 1 and the child door 2 are connected via a hinge portion 3 so as to be folded. The child door 2 is pivotally supported by a hinge 4 so that the child door 2 can rotate. The parent door 1 is suspended by a slider 6 that is loosely fitted to the upper rail 5 and slides. The folding door is folded by moving along with the slider 6 along 5.
[0013]
The slider 6 is attached to the front end of the parent door 1 and the width of the parent door 1 and the child door 2 is substantially equal. Therefore, the parent door 1 and the child door 2 of the folded folding door are provided. Are overlapped, and the front end portion of the parent door 1 does not protrude greatly from the upper rail 5 to the passage side.
[0014]
By the way, the handle 7 and the lock knob 8 are attached to the inside of the parent door 1, but the positions thereof are provided not on the front end side but on the hinge part side with the child door 2. Here, the form of the handle 7 and the lock knob 8 is not limited. However, as shown in FIG. 2, it is easy to grasp by using a U-shaped handle, and the folding door can be easily opened and closed. . The lock knob 8 has a lever shape and is attached to the lower side of the handle 7. By rotating the lock knob 8, the rod bar protrudes upward and can be fitted into the guide groove of the upper rail 5.
[0015]
FIG. 3: has shown the cross-sectional view of the folding door apparatus provided with the hinge structure of this invention, It is the state which is the state folded and extended. By the way, when folding the extended folding door, if the vicinity of the hinge part is pressed from the outside, it is folded to some extent so that it is roughly V-shaped. The door 1 and the child door 2 are folded and overlapped with each other.
[0016]
The front end of the parent door of the folding door that is folded and overlapped does not protrude significantly from the upper rail to the passage side. Since the slider 6 is attached to the upper end of the front end portion of the parent door 1, only the front end side slightly protrudes from the slider 6. Conversely, when the folded folding door is extended, the handle 7 attached to the parent door 1 is gripped and pulled toward the front.
[0017]
Then, when the handle 7 is pressed when it has been extended to some extent and formed into a generally V shape, the folding door is fully extended and the doorway is closed. In order to lock the closed folding door, the lock knob 8 is rotated to project the rod bar upward and fit into the guide groove of the upper rail 5.
[0018]
Since the handle 7 is attached to the hinge portion side of the parent door 1, if the handle 7 is gripped and pulled, and the handle 7 is pressed while holding the handle 7, the folding door can be completely closed. Although the handle 7 moves in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure, this moving distance is small, and even a handicapped person on a wheelchair can operate without moving the place.
[0019]
If the folding door is extended and closed, it can be folded by holding the handle 7 and pulling it to the front and pressing the handle toward the child door when it is folded into a V shape. Although it moves in the direction opposite to the arrow, the moving distance is small and it is not necessary to move the wheelchair.
[0020]
On the other hand, if a handle is attached to the tip of the parent door 1 as in the prior art, the folding door will extend to some extent even if the handle is pulled along the upper rail. It is stretched and cannot be closed. Therefore, when it is stretched to some extent and becomes approximately V-shaped, it cannot be closed without moving the wheelchair and pressing the joint.
[0021]
The present invention relates to a hinge structure of a folding door, and the position of the handle 7 is not limited and can be attached to the tip of the parent door 1. The position of the lock knob 8 is not particularly limited, but it is preferably provided on the hinge side for easy opening and closing operation. Even a handicapped person in a wheelchair can easily operate without moving the wheelchair. I can do it.
[0022]
FIG. 4 is a specific example showing the hinge structure of the present invention. The parent door 1 and the child door 2 are connected so as to be foldable via the hinge portion 3, and (a) shows a case where the parent door 1 and the child door 2 extend in a straight line, and (b) shows a parent door 1 And the child door 2 are overlapped and folded. Side end members 9, 9 having a substantially U-shaped cross section are screwed to the side ends of the main door 1 and the child door 2, so that a concave portion is formed on the side end, and the side end members 9, 9 are formed in the concave portion. It is fitted and attached.
[0023]
An edge cover 11 is formed at the tip of one arm 10a of the side end member 9 having a substantially U-shaped cross section, and a hinge 12 is formed at the tip of the other arm 10b. A shaft hole 13 passes through the hinge 12. Here, the outer surface 14 of the edge cover 11 and the outer surface 15 of the hinge 12 are both smooth arc surfaces, and the curvatures of the arcs are approximately the same. Therefore, the appearance of the hinge part from the front and back sides looks almost the same shape.
[0024]
Then, the shaft pin of the connecting metal fitting is fitted into the shaft hole of the hinge, the hinges of the main door 1 and the child door 2 are connected via the connecting metal fitting, and each hinge can be rotated around the shaft pin. It is said. Reference numeral 16 in the figure denotes a hinge cover, which is the same length as the side end members 9 and 9 screwed to the side ends of the parent door 1 and the child door 2, and covers a narrow gap generated between the hinges. I can do it. Then, the hinge cover 16 is screwed to a connecting fitting disposed at the upper end and the lower end of the hinge 12.
[0025]
FIG. 5 shows a case where the hinge structure of the present invention is disassembled. The side end member 9 extends over the entire length of the parent door 1 and the child door 2 and the shaft hole 13 of the hinge 12 formed in the side end member 9. When the shaft pin 18 projecting from the connecting metal fitting 17 is fitted, the hinges 12 and 12 and the side end members 9 and 9 are connected, and the parent door 1 and the child door 2 are connected. In addition, the parent door 1 and the child door 2 can be turned around the shaft pins 18 and 18 of the connecting bracket 17 and folded. Here, a bush 19 with a flange is fitted into the shaft hole 13, and a shim ring 21 is interposed between the flange 20 of the bush 19 and the connecting bracket 17, and the hinge end surface, the shaft hole 13, and the shaft pin 18 associated with the folding operation. Prevents wear.
[0026]
The connecting bracket 17 is provided with four holes 22, 22 ... penetrating through, and four screw holes 23, 23 ... are provided at the upper end and the lower end of the hinge cover 16, respectively. Therefore, the hinge cover 16 is attached so that the screws inserted into the holes 22, 22... Of the connecting bracket 17 are screwed into the screw holes 23, 23. .
[0027]
In this embodiment, cushion members 24 and 24 are attached to the hinge cover 16. Although the cross-sectional shape of the cushion material 24 is arbitrary, it is fitted in a groove provided inside the hinge cover 16 and is attached to a stopper piece 25 that protrudes to the outer periphery of the hinge 12 when the folding door is folded. Comes into contact with the cushion material 24. Therefore, the impact during the folding operation is alleviated and, of course, no impact sound is generated and the folding is performed gently.
[0028]
(B) of the figure shows a cross-section in the folded state, but the stopper piece 25 hits the cushion material 24, so that the impact is alleviated and the folding direction of the folding door is determined. That is, when the stopper piece 25 hits the cushion material 24, the turning angle of the parent door 1 and the child door 2 is regulated. As described above, the hinge structure of the folding door according to the present invention is such that the side end member is attached to the end surfaces of the parent door and the child door, and the hinge of the side end member is connected by the connecting bracket. A hinge cover is attached between them, and the following effects can be obtained.
[0029]
【The invention's effect】
In the hinge structure of the folding door according to the present invention, side end members are attached to the side ends of the parent door and the child door, and the hinges of the both side end members are connected to each other via a connecting metal fitting. And since the hinge cover is attached between the hinges with the upper and lower connecting brackets, a gap between the hinges can be prevented. In addition, since the hinge cover is provided, fingers and clothes are not caught when opening and closing the folding door.
[0030]
Then, by sharing the outer surface shape of the hinge provided at the tip of one arm of the side end member and the edge cover provided at the tip of the other arm, the hinge portion of the folding door becomes substantially the same on the front side and the back side. The appearance is improved. Then, a cushion material is attached to the inside of the hinge cover, a stopper piece protrudes from the outer periphery of the hinge, and the folding door is folded, so that the stopper piece hits the cushion material, and no shock and impact sound are generated during folding.
