Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a vehicular driving support device that executes driving support control of a host vehicle based on an obstacle or the like existing in front of the vehicle, and more particularly, when driving on a driving lane of an automatic toll collection system installed on a toll road. The present invention relates to a vehicle travel support apparatus that changes travel support control.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, an automatic toll collection (Electronic Toll Collection, ETC) system has been developed for non-stop, toll-free, cashless, and human cost reduction at toll roads on toll roads. Has been started.
[0003]
In this ETC system, an IC card in which contract information is recorded is inserted into an in-vehicle device mounted on a vehicle, and traffic is made by wireless communication between the roadside antenna installed at the toll gate of the toll gate on the toll road and the on-vehicle device. This is a system in which information such as tolls is recorded on both the toll road computer system connected to the roadside antenna and the IC card, and can be traveled without stopping for toll payment.
[0004]
On the other hand, a collision avoidance system that detects an obstacle existing ahead of the host vehicle and automatically executes collision avoidance control (braking, warning, etc.) of the host vehicle from the detected obstacle information, and a traveling lane of the host vehicle A lane departure avoidance system has been developed that automatically executes departure avoidance control (steering, braking, warning, etc.) so as not to deviate from the detected traveling lane.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, when a vehicle equipped with the collision avoidance system passes a toll gate provided in the ETC lane, the toll gate is controlled to open when a toll collection process is performed with the on-vehicle device. However, the actual toll gate opening operation cannot be performed instantaneously, and a slight delay occurs until the toll gate is actually opened when the toll collection process is performed. Due to this delay in opening the toll gate, the toll gate is recognized as an obstacle and intervened in unnecessary collision avoidance control, and automatic braking is activated and the driver feels uncomfortable or disturbs smooth running. There is an inconvenience of becoming.
[0006]
The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and its purpose is to recognize the toll gate as an obstacle due to a delay in the opening operation of the toll gate during toll collection processing, intervene in unnecessary collision avoidance control, and perform automatic braking. It is an object of the present invention to provide a vehicular driving support device that can be operated to eliminate the inconvenience that the driver feels uncomfortable or prevents smooth driving.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems and achieve the purpose, obstacles existing in front of the host vehicleBy cameraA vehicle driving support device that detects and executes driving support control for avoiding a collision with an obstacle in front from a distance from an obstacle in front, between a roadside device installed on a toll road A communication means capable of communicating with an automatic fee collection system that receives and collects charges by sending and receiving atWhile traveling in the lane of the automatic toll collection system, before the toll collection by the toll collection system is completed and the gate of the system is closed, the gate detected by the camera is set as an obstacle,After completion of fee collection by the fee collection systemSaidGate as an obstacleSettingControl means for executing the driving support control while restricting or prohibiting the vehicle from being operated.
[0008]
Also,Preferably, the control means sets the preceding vehicle as an obstacle when a preceding vehicle is detected in front of the host vehicle by the camera after the fee collection by the fee collection system is completed and the gate is opened. Set and execute the driving support control.
[0010]
Preferably, the control means decreases a control gain in the driving support control after completion of fee collection by the fee collection system.
[0011]
Preferably, the control means delays the control intervention timing of the driving support control after completion of fee collection by the fee collection system.
[0013]
【The invention's effect】
Claim1According to the invention, after the toll collection by the toll collection system, the toll collection process is performed by executing the driving support control while restricting or prohibiting the recognition of the gate provided in the traveling lane of the system as an obstacle. Later, the gate is recognized as a front obstacle and intervened in unnecessary collision avoidance control, so that the inconvenience that the automatic braking is activated and the driver feels uncomfortable or hinders smooth running can be solved.
[0014]
According to the invention of claim 2,After the completion of toll collection by the toll collection system and when the gate is opened, when the preceding vehicle is detected in front of the host vehicle by the camera, the preceding vehicle is recognized as an obstacle and the driving support control is executed. Thus, even when the front of the gate is congested and the inter-vehicle distance from the preceding vehicle becomes short after passing through the gate, it is possible to appropriately perform the collision avoidance control while avoiding contact.
[0015]
Claim3According to the present invention, after completion of toll collection by the toll collection system, by reducing the control gain in the driving support control, the driver feels uncomfortable by preventing excessive changes in the running state, or hinders smooth running. The inconvenience of becoming can be eliminated.
[0016]
Claim4According to the present invention, after completion of toll collection by the toll collection system, by delaying the control intervention timing of the driving support control, the driver feels uncomfortable by suppressing excessive changes in the running state, or smooth running The inconvenience of obstructing can be solved.
