BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an engine cooling device provided in an engine room of a construction machine, and in particular, a shroud having a separation structure including a first shroud supported on the engine side and a second shroud supported on the heat exchanger side. The present invention relates to an engine cooling device for a construction machine.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A construction machine, for example, a hydraulic excavator, operates a front device (working front) such as a boom, an arm, and a bucket and an upper swing body by a hydraulic actuator such as a hydraulic cylinder and a hydraulic motor. These hydraulic actuators are actuated by discharge pressure oil from a hydraulic pump driven by the engine. The upper swing body is covered with a cover, and the engine and the hydraulic pump are arranged in an engine room provided in the cover.
[0003]
Usually, in this type of construction machine, in order to cool the engine, a cooling fan provided in the engine room is driven to introduce outside air from an intake hole provided on one side of the cover to induce cooling air. At this time, a so-called axial fan that is rotated by a driving force from the crankshaft of the engine is often used as the cooling fan.
[0004]
After the cooling air is introduced into the engine compartment, it is cooled by passing through various heat exchangers such as a radiator, and is throttled by a shroud provided on the downstream side of the heat exchanger and introduced into the cooling fan. The cooling air blown from the cooling fan is further cooled to the engine, the hydraulic pump, etc., and then discharged to the outside through an exhaust hole provided on the other side of the cover. An engine room cooling structure similar to this is also employed in the fields of passenger cars, trucks, agricultural machinery, power generation devices, and the like.
[0005]
Here, the heat exchanger is fixed to the engine compartment floor surface independently of the engine and belongs to a vibration system different from the engine. Conventionally, the shroud is fixedly supported on the heat exchanger side. It was common. Therefore, a relatively large relative displacement is generated between the cooling fan belonging to the vibration system on the engine side, and the gap dimension (chip clearance) between the downstream portion of the shroud containing the cooling fan and the outer diameter of the cooling fan impeller. In this period, the cooling air has flowed back, leaked, or turbulent, and the air volume is reduced, resulting in a decrease in fan efficiency and an increase in noise.
[0006]
In order to solve such problems, for example, as described in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 4-6726, a shroud is supported on the engine side and includes a first shroud including a cooling fan (also referred to as fan ring). And a second shroud (also referred to as a shroud cover) that is provided on the upstream side of the first shroud and is supported on the heat exchanger side and introduces cooling air into the first shroud, and An engine cooling apparatus has been proposed in which a first shroud and a second shroud are connected and sealed with an elastic sealing member (for example, a rubber ring) that allows relative displacement therebetween. As a result, the first shroud containing the cooling fan belongs to the vibration system on the engine side like the cooling fan, and the relative displacement between the two can be reduced and the chip clearance can be reduced, thereby improving fan efficiency. Noise can be reduced.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the following problems exist in the above known technique.
[0008]
The rotating shaft of the cooling fan is generally provided in common with the rotating shaft of the radiator water circulation water pump disposed in the engine. A pulley is fixed to a portion of the fan rotation shaft between the cooling fan and the engine, and a fan belt is stretched between the pulley and the pulley fixed to the crankshaft of the engine. Is transmitted to the fan rotation shaft through the pulley of the crankshaft, the fan belt, and the pulley of the fan rotation shaft, thereby rotating the cooling fan to induce cooling air. Since this fan belt is worn with use, it is necessary to replace (or maintain, hereinafter the same) at an appropriate frequency.
[0009]
Normally, this replacement operation is performed while maintaining the ring shape without cutting the fan belt. That is, after removing the fan belt from the pulley of the crankshaft and the pulley of the fan rotation shaft and letting it escape to the anti-engine side, let it pass through the outer peripheral part of each cooling fan blade and pull it further to the anti-engine side. When the outer peripheral portion of the blade is passed, the removal is completed. The reverse procedure is used when installing a new fan belt.
[0010]
Thus, when replacing the fan belt, it is necessary to pass the fan belt through the outer peripheral portion of the cooling fan blade. However, if the first shroud is provided on the outer peripheral portion of the cooling fan as in the above-described known technique and the tip clearance is reduced to improve fan efficiency, the fan belt replacement operation becomes difficult. In particular, when the value of the tip clearance is less than the thickness of the fan belt, the fan belt cannot be replaced effectively. Therefore, the first shroud is removed every time the fan belt is replaced, or the cooling fan itself is removed. Such a large and cumbersome work is required.
[0011]
On the other hand, in order to ensure the ease of fan belt replacement, the tip clearance must be equal to or greater than the thickness of the fan belt (determined by the power to be transmitted by the fan belt). The reduction effect cannot be obtained sufficiently. However, the chip clearance is increased only in a part of the circumferential direction, the fan belt is passed from there, and then the cooling fan blades are sequentially rotated to a position where the clearance is large, and the corresponding part of the fan belt is passed. There is no way to think about it. However, in this case as well, the fan efficiency is lowered by the presence of a part having a large tip clearance in that part, and fan noise, particularly so-called blade noise (wind noise) whose frequency is determined by the product of the number of blades and the number of rotations of the cooling fan. ) Will increase.
[0012]
In the above description, when the old fan belt is taken out, the ring shape may be cut. However, even in this case, at least when the new fan belt is mounted, the above-described problem occurs.
[0013]
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems of the prior art, and an object thereof is a construction machine capable of improving the fan efficiency by sufficiently reducing the chip clearance while ensuring the workability at the time of replacing the fan belt. It is in providing the engine cooling device.
[0014]

According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided at least one heat exchanger including a radiator provided in an engine room in which an engine of a construction machine is installed, and cooling cooling water for the engine, and cooling for cooling the heat exchanger. A cooling fan for inducing wind, a first shroud supported on the engine side and including the cooling fan, and provided upstream of the first shroud and supported on the heat exchanger side to support the cooling A construction machine comprising: a second shroud for introducing wind into the first shroud; and an elastic sealing member that seals between the first shroud and the second shroud while allowing relative displacement between the first shroud and the second shroud. In the engine cooling apparatus, a position variable mechanism that varies a relative positional relationship between the cooling fan and the first shroud is provided, and the position variable mechanism is provided in the engine. A bracket having a long hole, a mounting bracket portion provided in the first shroud, a through hole provided in the mounting bracket portion, and the through hole of the mounting bracket portion and the long hole of the bracket. And a bolt to be fastened.
Furthermore, a third invention is provided in an engine room in which an engine of a construction machine is installed, and includes at least one heat exchanger including a radiator that cools cooling water of the engine, and cooling that cools the heat exchanger. The engine cooling apparatus further includes a position variable mechanism that varies a relative positional relationship between the cooling fan and the first shroud, and the position variable mechanism is configured to rotate the engine. A hollow auxiliary rotating shaft provided on the tip end side of the shaft, a cooling fan rotating shaft slidably inserted into the auxiliary rotating shaft, and a groove formed between the inner side of the auxiliary rotating shaft and the outer periphery of the cooling fan rotating shaft. And a detent member.
[0015]
In the present invention, during a normal cooling operation, the tip clearance between the first shroud that encloses the cooling fan and the cooling fan by the position variable mechanism can be set to be small over the entire circumference, for example, to improve fan efficiency. . In addition, when the fan belt is replaced, the cooling fan and the first shroud can be relatively separated by the position variable mechanism, and the clearance between the outer peripheral portions of the cooling fan blades can be widened at least partially in the circumferential direction. Can be easily passed. Therefore, the ease of fan belt replacement work can be ensured.
