【0071】

Number of documents ≥ number of sheets to be discharged ≤ 20
Make sure that the number of images satisfies. Therefore, if the number of bundles to be ejected is set to 5 when a program is set, when the number of documents is 4, the bundles are ejected by 4 sheets. When the number of originals is 5 or more, for example, 14 sheets, they are divided into 5 sheets + 5 sheets + 4 sheets, respectively, and bundled and discharged.

Offset. Details of this operation will be described later.
[0065]
The second copy is aligned at the offset position, stapled in the same manner as the first copy, and discharged as a bundle. When all of the second set of bundles are discharged, the back aligning member 142 moves to the back, and the front aligning mechanism 141 aligns the sheet with the back aligning member 142 as a reference, and sets the alignment position of the third set to the second set. Further offset with respect to the alignment position.

The third copy is also aligned at the offset position, stapled in the same way as the second copy, and discharged as a bundle.
[0067]
When all the third-part bundles are discharged, the front alignment mechanism 141 moves forward together with the back alignment member 142 to return the alignment position of the fourth copy to the alignment position of the first copy.
[0068]
Similarly, the fifth copy is offset to the same position as the second copy.
[0069]
In this way, the offset of all the set copies is terminated while shifting the bundles.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, the following effects can be obtained by the present invention.
[0071]
(1) A stacking surface for receiving and stacking sheets is formed, a processing tray provided with a trailing end stopper for locking the trailing end of the sheet, and an inner peripheral surface on one of a pair of discharge rollers for discharging the sheet to the processing tray. A part of the outer peripheral surface that is wound around is in contact with the other of the pair of discharge rollers to form a nip portion, and at the same time as the sheet is discharged to the processing tray, the sheet on the processing tray is pulled into the trailing end stopper. A pair of belt rollers having a knurled belt, pulling the knurled belt in a required direction, traction means for displacing the distance between the belt roller nip portion and the outer circumferential surface of the knurled belt downstream of the nip portion, and controlling the operation of each portion. In a sheet post-processing apparatus having a control means,RashiOfDistance to the rear edgeBy controlling the discharge speed of the belt roller pair in accordance with the pulling amount of the pulling means so that the belt is constant, the time and place until the discharged sheet comes into contact with the knurled belt again can be made constant. Therefore, a stable pullback operation is possible regardless of the towing state.
[0072]
(2) An inner peripheral surface on one side of a processing tray that forms a stacking surface for receiving and stacking sheets and has a rear end stopper for locking the rear end of the sheet, and a discharge roller pair that discharges the sheet to the processing tray An elastic knurl that draws a sheet on the processing tray into the stopper at the same time that the sheet is discharged to the processing tray at the same time as forming a nip portion by winding a part of the outer peripheral surface of the discharge roller pair. In a sheet post-processing apparatus having a belt roller pair having a belt and a control means for controlling the operation of each part, a predetermined discharge speed of the belt roller pair for discharging the sheet to the processing tray is a drop of the sheet discharged onto the processing tray. Since the outer peripheral surface of the knurled belt is not deformed during this time by maintaining it at a constant speed until the settling is completed, Time until it abuts against the bets, and can be a constant where striking the knurled belt, thus enabling stable return operation.
