しかし、この特願平9−334668の技術では、突入噴口により茶木の枝や幹の内部にも薬剤を噴霧できるが、該突入噴口の上下往復動を作業機の走行と同期させる構成となっているため、実際の作業時には突入間隔やタイミングの微調整ができずに種々の不具合が発生する、という問題があった。例えば、茶木の種類や生育状況等に応じ茶畝毎に適正な噴霧量を設定できないため、茶畝によって薬剤散布にムラが生じ、所定の薬効を得ることができないばかりか、過多に噴霧した部分の生育が遅れる場合もあった。また、突入噴口が茶木内部に突入した後に昇降機構のトラブル等で茶木内部に停止すると、茶木内の幹や枝への噴霧量が過多になるばかりでなく、移動する突入噴口の部分により茶木が傷つけられて大きな被害を被る、という問題があった。更に、突入噴口の上昇ストロークが長いと、茶木上部の葉にばかり薬剤が消費されるため、突入噴口の初期の目的を達成することができない、という問題があった。また、このような多くの噴口を噴霧部に有し、複数の茶畝に一度に噴霧する作業機においては、噴霧部の横幅の拡大は避けられないため、別の茶園への移動等のための運搬がやりにくく、また、倉庫への収納には広いスペースを必要とする、という問題があった。本発明は、前記の点に鑑み、突入噴口の突入間隔やタイミングを自由に設定でき、しかも安全で取り扱いも簡単な茶園防除作業機を提供することを目的とする。
