【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a component recognition mounting apparatus and a component recognition method used when mounting an electronic component on a printed circuit board or the like.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, a working unit that freely moves back and forth (in the Y-axis direction) and left and right (in the same direction in the X-axis) in a working space above a printed circuit board (hereinafter simply referred to as a board) carried into the apparatus is moved up and down (Z axis). There is a one-by-one component mounting device that has a working head that can be freely rotated (direction) and (θ-axis direction), and that mainly mounts chip-shaped electronic components (hereinafter simply referred to as components) on the board using this working head. ing.
[0003]
In this component mounting apparatus, the working head has a suction nozzle that is detachably attached to its tip, sucks the component from the component supply position with the suction nozzle, and recognizes that the sucked component is fixed to the device body from below. Images are captured by the camera, and based on the captured images, the central processing unit detects the displacement of the component's suction position (posture deviation), and if there is a deviation (angle deviation) between the component's axis and the reference line, the operation is canceled. Rotate the switch to correct the deviation.
[0004]
Further, based on the deviation, the work head moves to the component mounting position to which the position correction of the substrate that has already been accurately positioned and stopped at the predetermined position is added, and the component that is adsorbed to the component mounting position is removed. Installing.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the case of the conventional component mounting apparatus described above, after the component is sucked, the work unit always moves to the position of the recognition camera, picks up the component from below, obtains component information, and then does not move to the mounting position. must not.
[0006]
For this reason, even if the suction position is close to the mounting position, if the suction position and the recognition camera are far from each other, it is necessary to move a long distance to obtain component information, and the production tact will not increase. there were.
[0007]
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and recognizes a component during the movement from the suction position to the mounting position without using a component recognition camera, and efficiently mounts the component to a predetermined mounting position. It is an object of the present invention to provide a component recognition and mounting device and a component recognition method.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to the first aspect of the present invention, the work unit movable in the X and Y axis directions is provided with a component suction head that is movable in the Z axis and θ axis directions and sucks the component, and sucks the component at a predetermined component suction position. In the component recognition mounting apparatus for mounting a component at a predetermined position on the substrate, the substrate position detecting means for detecting the position of the substrate on which the component is mounted, and the component bottom surface obliquely provided at different θ-axis angles provided in the work unit Based on component imaging means for capturing a plurality of two-dimensional images from the lower direction, a plurality of two-dimensional images from the component imaging means, and θ-axis angle information of the component suction head at the time of component suction, Image information processing means for obtaining deviations in position in the X and Y axis directions, deviation in the θ axis direction, and deviation in height of the bottom surface of the component, detection results of the position of the board by the board position detection means, and image information processing Based on the deviations Then, position correction according to the stop displacement of the board, position correction of the work unit in the X and Y axis directions, position correction of the component suction head in the Z axis and θ axis directions are performed, and components are mounted at predetermined positions on the board. And a drive control means.
