L = L 1 − L 0

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
A mechanical rebar joint formed by joining two rebars with a sleeve on the end, and a machine intended to measure whether or not the joint is appropriate, that is, a portion covered by the sleeve and the length of the rebar The present invention relates to a non-destructive inspection method for a reinforcing bar joint and an ultrasonic probe optimal for the inspection direction.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As joint methods for joining reinforcing bars in the length direction, pressure welding, welding, mechanical joints, and the like are employed. Non-destructive inspection is indispensable for ensuring the reliability of the joint, and high reliability is ensured by non-destructive inspection for pressure-welded joints and welded joints.
[0003]
With regard to mechanical joints, a non-destructive inspection method that can be easily applied in the field has not been established, and the reliability of the joint may be confirmed by a radiation transmission test only when serious doubts arise.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In general, there are rebars from D19 (rebar
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
However, according to the present invention, a nondestructive inspection method applicable to the field is realized by measuring the arrival time of the echo reflected from the edge of the reinforcing bar by the ultrasonic method (surface SH wave flaw detection method).
[0006]
That is, the present invention is a non-destructive inspection method for a mechanical reinforcing bar joint, which is performed by the following procedure in a mechanical reinforcing bar joint formed by covering the ends of two deformed reinforcing bars with a sleeve.
(1) An ultrasonic probe is applied to the longitudinal rib on the surface of the deformed reinforcing bar in the vicinity of the edge of the sleeve, and the distance L 0 between the ultrasonic probe and the sleeve edge is measured, Sending ultrasonic waves consisting of surface SH waves toward the edge of the deformed bar,
(2) at the surface of the deformed bars of the edge vicinity of the sleeve, of the outgoing ultrasound, the echoes reflected by the edge of the deformed bars, said received by the ultrasonic probe,
(3) The
(4) from the sleeve end edge to the edge of the deformed bar of length L
L = L 1 - L 0
Calculate from
(5) The analysis of the arrival time of the echo adopts the pulse when the first arrival pulse or the pulse with the maximum amplitude coincides, and adopts one of the pulses when they are different .
[0007]
Another invention is to measure the arrival time of the echo at the edge of the deformed reinforcing bar joint of the mechanical reinforcing bar joint formed by joining the edges of the two deformed reinforcing bars together and covering the sleeve. And an ultrasonic probe connected to a flaw detector that displays the processing result on the screen,
It is placed on the vertical rib of the deformed reinforcing bar, has a lower surface that can transmit the surface SH wave and receive the echo,
A measurement protrusion having a predetermined length is formed toward the ultrasonic transmission direction of the ultrasonic probe,
An ultrasonic probe for inspection characterized by being configured so that the measurement protrusion can be brought into contact with an edge of the sleeve in a state of being placed on the vertical rib of the deformed reinforcing bar.
[0008]
When the echo is measured using the present invention, an echo as shown in FIG. 22 appears. In this case, normally, as shown in FIG. 22 (a), if the maximum signal is detected within a preset range where the first echo reaches the maximum, and the arrival time of the signal is adopted. Since the speed at which the transmitted ultrasonic wave travels through the reinforcing bar is known, the distance to the edge of the reinforcing bar is known.
[0009]
However, for some reason, the echo that arrives first is small, and the echo that subsequently arrives may be larger than the first echo. In this case, there are two methods: a method of measuring the length from the arrival time of the first echo and a method of measuring the length from the arrival time of the maximum echo.
[0010]
The obtained ultrasonic signal is returned to an electric signal by a probe (piezoelectric element). When the maximum echo is employed, the time series electric signal (alternating current) is rectified, and then the maximum signal is obtained within a certain time range.
[0011]
In other words, the algorithm for obtaining the maximum value is larger than the initial time set in the monitoring range, the maximum value of the echo height is recorded with the data and the time, and compared with the echo height obtained at the next position. Re-record the other data as the maximum value data. This process is continued until the end of the monitoring range, and as a result, it can be adopted as arrival time data for obtaining the time when the remaining echo height data arrives as the maximum value data. Therefore, this process is relatively easy.
[0012]
On the other hand, when the echo that arrives first is obtained, if the amplification level of the signal is increased, the noise level increases and the signal cannot be distinguished from the signal, and noise may be erroneously recognized as a signal. Therefore, there is a problem in determining how much the degree of amplification (gain) is to be increased and processing for obtaining signal time information. For example, in order to obtain the first data, it is necessary to obtain a point where the change in echo height at each data point changes from “+” to “−”, and to confirm that it is a peak. In this case, mathematically, a differential method is used, and the difference is obtained on the processing software. Therefore, the algorithm becomes complicated.

【The invention's effect】
The ultrasonic probe is applied to the surface of the reinforcing bar near the edge of the sleeve, the ultrasonic wave consisting of the surface SH wave is transmitted toward the reinforcing bar edge, and the echo is received. Therefore, it is possible to easily measure the mating length of the reinforcing bar with which the sleeve is fitted and to evaluate the performance of the joined joint by the mechanical joint. Moreover, since it can measure with the apparatus comprised from a probe and a flaw detector, the measurement system easy to carry can be comprised.

Further, when the probe provided with the measurement protrusion is used, there is an effect that the measurement error due to the presence or absence of the skill level of the operator is eliminated and the mating length can be measured very easily.
