8m/min
IP1=IP2=300A、IB1=50A、IB2=35A
TP1=TP2=TB1=TB2=2ms、T1=T2=200ms
5m/min
IP1=400A、IB1=70A、IP2=350A、IB2=50A
TP1=1.5ms、TP2=2ms、TB1=17ms、TB2=20ms
T1=185ms、T2=220ms

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an AC gas shielded arc welding method using a consumable electrode and an apparatus therefor.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 56-165564 (hereinafter referred to as the first technology), a welding current is set to a direct current, a positive side is connected to an electrode (hereinafter referred to as a wire), and a negative side is connected to a base material. By maintaining the current value, pulse current period, and base current value at predetermined values, and changing the base current period approximately inversely proportional to the wire feed amount, the droplet formed on the wire tip is synchronized with the pulse current. A gas shielded arc welding method for transferring to a molten pool is disclosed. In the case of this technique, since the heat input to the base material is large, a weld bead having a deep penetration and less surplus is obtained. Therefore, good welding results can be obtained when applied to a workpiece having a relatively large plate thickness.
[0003]
Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 1-186279 (hereinafter referred to as “second technique”) determines the frequency of the AC output corresponding to the wire feed speed while setting the welding current to AC and determines the material and diameter of the wire. A gas shielded arc welding method and apparatus for conducting welding by applying a reverse polarity current having an energization period and a current value corresponding to the current are disclosed. In this technique, since the heat input to the base material is relatively small, the penetration is relatively shallow, but the amount of welding can be increased because the amount of melting of the wire is large. Therefore, when it is applied to a thin plate or a joint having a large root gap, a good welding result can be obtained.
[0004]
Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 5-138355 (hereinafter referred to as “third technique”) combines the first and second techniques, and alternately repeats DC welding and AC welding and controls the time ratio thereof. A gas shielded arc welding method and apparatus for welding is disclosed. In the case of this technique, an arbitrary penetration or extra shape can be obtained, and a regular bead wave corresponding to the cycle of direct current and alternating current can be obtained.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, when the first technique is applied to a thin plate or a joint having a large root gap, the base material is excessively melted, and welding defects such as molten metal falling off and excessive undercut are likely to occur. In addition, the second technique can compensate for the disadvantages of the first technique, but a clear bead wave cannot be obtained. In the third technique, a regular bead wave can be obtained, but the penetration depth varies depending on the DC period and the AC period, and the penetration depth is not uniform.
[0006]
The object of the present invention is to solve the problems in the prior art described above, consumable electrodes capable of welding thin plates and joints with a large root gap, obtaining a clear bead wave, and making the penetration depth uniform. An AC gas shielded arc welding method and apparatus are provided.

The invention according to
