本発明は、電子音楽装置に関し、より詳しくは、電子音楽装置の演奏操作子の感度を補正する演奏操作子の感度補正装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
鍵盤を有する電子音楽装置では、鍵盤の操作(ストローク)の過程で、複数接点のオン又はオフ・タイミングを検知して、その時間差から押鍵速度を検出し、該押鍵速度に基づき楽音発音のベロシティ(若しくは音質)を制御している。

また、鍵のフルストローク時には、押鍵圧力センサ等により押鍵圧力を検出し、アフタータッチ、すなわち楽音が立ち上がった後の音量や音質を制御したり、ビブラートなどの効果を付加したりする。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記の鍵盤を有する電子音楽装置で使用される複数接点のオン/オフ・タイミング及び圧力センサは、その使用状態(鍵の酷使度合い)や使用環境(例えば、温度や湿度等)によって、安定した特性を得られないことがある。そのため、演奏者(ユーザ)は、意識した演奏をセンサ特性の変動のために、十分に実現できない場合がある。

本発明の目的は、圧力センサ特性の変動の影響を削減又は、除去することの出来る演奏操作子の感度補正装置を提供することである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明の一観点によれば、演奏操作子の感度補正装置は、複数の演奏操作子と、前記演奏操作子の操作速度を検出する速度検出手段と、前記演奏操作子の操作圧力を検出する圧力検出手段と、前記速度検出手段で検出する操作速度と、前記圧力検出手段で検出する操作圧力を比較する比較手段と、前記比較手段の比較結果に基づき前記検出した操作速度又は操作圧力のいずれか一方を補正する補正手段とを有する。

また、本発明の他の観点によれば、演奏操作子の感度補正装置は、複数の演奏操作子と、複数接点のオン・タイミングの時間差に基づき、前記演奏操作子の第1の操作速度を検出する第1の速度検出手段と、前記演奏操作子の操作圧力を検出する圧力検出手段と、前記複数接点の内の1つの接点のオン・タイミングと前記操作圧力検出手段のオン・タイミングとの時間差に基づき、前記演奏操作子の第2の操作速度を検出する第2の速度検出手段と、前記第1の操作速度と前記第2の操作速度とを比較する第1の比較手段と、前記第2の操作速度と、前記圧力検出手段で検出する操作圧力を比較する第2の比較手段と、前記第1の比較手段の比較結果に基づき前記第1の操作速度を補正する操作速度補正手段と、前記第2の比較手段の比較結果に基づき前記操作圧力を補正する操作圧力補正手段とを有する。

【発明の実施の形態】
図1は本発明の実施例による演奏操作子の感度補正装置を有する電子楽器1のハードウェア構成を示すブロック図である。

電子楽器1はバス2、RAM3、ROM4、CPU5、タイマ6、PCセンサ7、複数接点8、鍵(演奏操作子)9、検出回路10、パネル操作子11、表示回路12、ディスプレイ13、外部記憶装置14、音源回路15、効果回路16、サウンドシステム17、MIDIインターフェイス18、通信インターフェイス(I/F)20を含んで構成される。

CPU5は、ROM4又は、外部記憶装置14に記憶されている制御プログラム等に従い、演算又は制御を行う。タイマ6は、CPU5に接続されており、基本クロック信号、割り込み処理タイミング等をCPU5に供給する。

PCセンサ7は、図2に示すようにユーザが鍵9をフルストロークした場合に、その押鍵圧力を検出する圧力センサである。

複数接点8は、図2に示すように複数の接点8a及び8bからなる押鍵速度センサである。ユーザが、鍵9を押下することにより接点8a及び8bは、順次オンになるので、そのオンタイミングの差分値に基づき押鍵速度を算出することが出来る。同様にユーザが鍵9をリリースした場合には、接点8a及び8bのオフ・タイミングの差分値によりリリース速度を算出することが出来る。

鍵(演奏操作子)9は、PCセンサ7及び複数接点8を介してバス2に接続され、ユーザの演奏動作に従い、演奏信号を供給する。演奏操作子9として、演奏用の鍵盤を用いる。
