従来から、プラスチックシートから成形され、小物の収納用に組立てて使用するプラスチック成形体が広く知られている。この種の成形体は、プラスチックシートを折り畳み、凹凸部分を組み合わせて所定の小物用収納部を形成するようになっている。また、プラスチック成形体は、小物(例えば、化粧品)を収納して店頭で販売する場合の対応として、収納部やその他の平面部分に図柄や文字からなる所望の印刷を施してある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、プラスチックシートを成形する際に予めシートに印刷を施した上で成形加工を行うと、成形時におけるシートの延伸の影響で印刷した図柄や文字が歪んでしまうため、印刷を施す場合は、予め成形加工により所定の凹凸部分を形成し、その上で印刷を施さねばならなかった。凹凸部分にも印刷を施そうとするとその凹凸の形状を維持しつつ印刷しなければならない煩わしさがある。これを避けるため、従来の成形体は、収納部には印刷していないものとなっていた。

そこで、本発明は、上記の問題点に着眼してなしたもので、印刷後に印刷面が凹凸部分となるように成形しても印刷面の図柄に歪みを起こすことのないプラスチック形成体と、その成形方法を提供せんとするものである。

上記課題を解決するため、本発明は、印刷が施された印刷面が表面に形成されたプラスチックシートを成形加工してなるプラスチック成形体であって、折曲線の両側に互いに接面可能に形成された2枚のシート体の少なくとも一方のシート面に収納凸部が形成され、この収納凸部はその内側に平坦面を有し、この平坦面が前記印刷面となっているとともに、平坦面の周囲を平坦面の周縁に沿って連続的に形成した凸状又は凹状のリブで囲んだ構成としてあるプラスチック成形体に特徴がある。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の好適な実施の形態について、図面を参照しつつ説明する。

プラスチック成形体1は、未延伸PET、ポリ塩化ビニル、ポリプロピレン、ポリスチレン、ポリカーボネイト樹脂などの透明な熱可塑性プラスチックからなる適度な強度(腰の強さ)を有するプラスチックシートから形成したもので、シート地の厚さは100 μm 〜1000μm 程度とするのが好ましい。
