本発明は、シートベルトのバックルをシートクッション内に体裁よく的確に格納することができる外観品質に優れた車輌用シートに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来から、自動車のリヤシートには乗員の安全性確保を目的としてシートベルトを装備するのが普通であるが、使用していない場合は邪魔になるとともに見栄えも低下するため、未使用時におけるシートベルトの格納処理につき種々の開発がなされてきた。この結果、シートベルトのタング側については自動巻取り装置等の利用によりほぼ完全に格納することができるようになった。

ところが、図６に示されるように、リヤシートのシートベルト５１のバックル５２側については、未使用時においても相変わらずシートクッション５０の上に放置された状態のままであり邪魔になるとともに見栄えも低下するという問題点があった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明が解決しようとするところは上記のような従来の問題点を解決して、未使用時におけるシートベルトのバックルをシートクッション内に体裁よく的確に格納することができ、しかも、何ら異物感がなく完全にフラットな状態で外観品質にも優れた車輌用シートを提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記の課題を解決するためになされた本発明の車輌用シートは、表面にポケット収納用の凹部を形成してあるシートクッションパッドに、前記凹部と対応する位置にバックル挿入用のスリット状の開口部が開設され、かつ、裏側に開口部に連通するシートベルトバックル格納用のポケットが設けられているシートクッションカバーを被覆した車輌用シートであって、前記ポケットは前端がシートクッションカバーの開口部の一方の縁に縫着されて前記凹部を覆う芯板と、両側縁が前記芯板の両側端に縫着されるとともに、前端縁がシートクッションカバーの開口部の他方の縁に縫着されて前記凹部の内部に挿入される裏ポケット地とよりなる筒状のものとすることを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下に、本発明の好ましい実施の形態として、自動車のリヤシートに適用した場合について、図面を参照しつつ詳細に説明する。
図中１はシートクッション１１とシートバック１２とよりなるシート本体であって、このシートクッション１１とシートバック１２は各々のクッションパッドにシートクッションカバー２１とシートバックカバー２２を被覆したもので、以上の構成は従来の車輌用シートと変わることはないが、本発明ではシートクッションカバー２１とシートバックカバー２２のいずれかにスリット状のバックル挿入用の開口部６が開設され、かつ、カバーの裏側に前記開口部６に連通するシートベルトバックル格納用のポケット３を設けた点に特徴がある。そのため、シートクッション１１とシートバック１２のいずれかのクッションパッド表面の所要部にポケット収納用の凹部４を形成するとともに、シートクッションカバー２１とシートバックカバー２２のうち前記凹部４を有する側に被覆されるカバーには前記凹部４と対応する位置にバックル挿入用の開口部６を開設するとともに、カバーの裏側に開口部６に連通するシートベルトバックル格納用のポケット３を設けて、このポケット３が前記凹部４内に位置するようにする。

その好ましい実施の形態として図３〜図５に図示したものは、上面後方にポケット収納用の凹部４を形成してあるシートクッション１１のクッションパッド１１ａに対して、シートベルトバックル格納用のポケット３がカバーの裏側の前記凹部４と対応する位置に設けられているクッションカバー２１を、バックル挿入用の開口部６が表面にスリット状に開設されるように被覆してある。そして、この車輌用シートにおける前記ポケット３は、前端がシートクッションカバー２１の開口部６の一方の縁に逢着されて、前記凹部４を覆う芯板５と、両側縁が芯板５の両側端に逢着されているとともに、前端縁がシートクッションカバー２１の開口部６の他方の縁に逢着されて、前記凹部４の内部に挿入される裏ポケット地２４とよりなり、偏平な筒状のものとしてシートクッション１１の座面に対して平行するように構成してある。

なお、前記芯板５は、ポリプロピレン樹脂などの樹脂板その他一定値以上の剛性とある程度の弾力性とを有する板材よりなるものが好ましく、また、裏ポケット地２４は前記したようにその両側縁が芯板５の両側端に逢着されるとともに、前端縁がクッションカバー２１の開口部６の他方の縁に縫合されていて後端縁は何ら縫合されることのない筒状に構成して、後端縁を縫合した袋状の格納部形状に比べてシートベルトバックル３０が凹部４の奥側まで挿入されるうえに、袋状とした場合のように部材の閉じる力でシートベルトバックル３０が開口部６側へ押し戻されることもないようにしておくことが好ましく、このようにしたものは凹部４の寸法をシートベルトバックル３０と略同一のものでよく最小限の大きさとすることができる。

このように構成されたものは、シートベルトの着用時はシートベルトバックル３０をポケット３から引き出した状態でもう一方のシートベルトタング（図示せず）と係合して使用に供される点は従来と同様であるが、この時、ポケット３にはシートベルトバックル３０が収納されていなくても、ポケット３が裏側にあるため凹凸感がなく極めて体裁がよく、特に、凹部４の上面を芯板５により覆ったものは、シートクッション１１の表面が芯板５により平坦な状態が保持されるとともにシートクッションカバー２１に皺の発生もなく、また、開口部６も完全に閉じた状態となって十分な質感があり見栄えの優れたものとなる。

一方、シートベルトを使用しない場合には、シートベルトバックル３０を開口部６からポケット３内に押し込めば、シートベルトバックル３０は裏ポケット地２４に案内されつつポケット３内に水平な状態で確実に収納されることとなるから、従来のようにシートベルトバックル３０がシートクッション上に放置されているものに比べて非常にスッキリとしており優れた見栄えを呈するとともに、着座者に異物感を与えることもなく優れた乗り心地を付与することとなる。特に、凹部４の上面を芯板５により覆うようにしたものは、シートベルトバックル３０を収納しても芯板５が表側への膨らみを抑制するので、シートクッション１１は常に平坦な状態が保持されることとなる。

なお、前記した実施の形態においては、クッションパッドを覆うカバー２１は分割したものを縫合し、その縫合部に縫合しない部分を部分的に設けることでスリット状の開口部６を形成してあるが、これを１枚物としてこれにバックル挿入用の開口部となるスリットを形成しておき、その裏側に裏ポケット地や芯板を縫着するようにしてもよい。

【発明の効果】
以上の説明からも明らかなように、本発明は未使用時におけるシートベルトのバックルをシートクッション内に完全に格納することができて邪魔になることがなく、しかも、完全にフラットな状態で外観品質にも優れたものとなる。
よって本発明は従来の問題点を一掃した車輌用シートとして、産業の発展に寄与するところは極めて大である。
