筒内圧はBDC(bottom dead center)である点K近傍まで減少する。

即ち、SAA'B'B、SBB'C'C、SCC'DD'及びSDD'A'Aを、各々図3に示すAA'B'B、BB'C'C、CC'DD'及びDD'A'Aで囲まれた領域の面積とすると、式(1)及び(2)の各仕事量において、
【0025】
【0026】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an engine control device, and more particularly, to an internal combustion engine control device that performs engine control based on a signal corresponding to a pressure in a cylinder constituting the engine (hereinafter referred to as an in-cylinder pressure).
[0002]
[Prior art]
It has been known to use an in-cylinder pressure sensor that detects a combustion pressure in an engine cylinder, that is, an in-cylinder pressure, in order to grasp the operating state of the engine. For example, an in-cylinder pressure sensor disclosed in JP-A-8-50072 includes a ring-shaped piezoelectric element, and the piezoelectric element is interposed between a spark plug mounting surface of a cylinder head and its spark plug washer. The spark plug is clamped and fixed by being screwed and fixed to the cylinder head. Such an in-cylinder pressure sensor generates a detection voltage indicating the in-cylinder pressure, and the voltage is supplied to an engine control circuit and used as a parameter indicating an engine operating state for engine control such as fuel injection amount and ignition timing.
[0003]
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 59-46357 discloses a system that performs exhaust gas recirculation control based on the detection output of the in-cylinder pressure sensor. In a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine in which exhaust gas recirculates to each cylinder by an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) device, this system detects the indicated mean effective pressure for each cycle of each cylinder, and detects the indicated mean effective pressure for each cylinder from the detected indicated mean effective pressure. The inter-cylinder variation of the indicated mean effective pressure and the inter-cylinder range of the indicated mean effective pressure are obtained, and the exhaust gas recirculation rate of each cylinder is controlled based on the inter-cycle variation and the inter-cylinder range.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in such a prior art system, the value of the indicated mean effective pressure obtained for each cycle is always used for a fixed number of samples to obtain the values of the cycle fluctuation and the cylinder difference. Depending on the operating conditions, the cycle fluctuations and inter-cylinder range values are obtained, and the processing for performing EGR control according to the values is wasted or does not seem to change significantly instantaneously. Inappropriate EGR control may be performed locally by the effective pressure. In particular, when trying to detect various improper combustion (particularly misfire and knocking) caused by EGR control using the output of the in-cylinder pressure sensor, the fluctuating frequency generated in different improper combustion modes is different. It was difficult to accurately judge illegal combustion by sampling with rotation synchronization.
[0005]
Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of such problems, and the object of the present invention is to perform EGR control with an average effective pressure estimated based on in-cylinder pressure detection that is efficient and suitable for the operating state. It is an object of the present invention to provide an internal combustion engine control device that can perform the above-described operation.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
An apparatus according to the present invention is an internal combustion engine control device that controls an exhaust gas recirculation amount in each cylinder of the internal combustion engine based on an in-cylinder pressure signal corresponding to an in-cylinder pressure in each cylinder of the internal combustion engine, and is based on the in-cylinder pressure signal. Mean effective pressure calculating means for calculating an average effective pressure for each cycle of the internal combustion engine, and the average effective pressure Per cycle Sample value From Predetermined number of samples The average value in the above is calculated, the target for which the average value is taken is sequentially updated every cycle, Moving average obtain A moving average calculating means; In each cylinder of the internal combustion engine, an inter-cycle fluctuation calculating means for calculating a fluctuation amount between the cycles of the moving average value of the average effective pressure obtained for each cycle, and for each cylinder in each cycle of the internal combustion engine, At least one of the values calculated by the inter-cylinder difference calculating means for calculating the difference between the cylinders of the moving average value of the average effective pressure obtained in the above, the inter-cycle variation calculating means, and the inter-cylinder difference calculating means. Exhaust gas recirculation control means for controlling the exhaust gas recirculation amount in each cylinder of the internal combustion engine so as to converge within a predetermined target range, and operating state detection means for detecting an engine parameter different from the pressure in the cylinder of the internal combustion engine. The predetermined number of samples varies according to the engine parameter detected by the operating state detecting means.
[0007]
According to this apparatus, based on the moving average value of the average effective pressure, at least one of the value of the fluctuation between cycles in each cylinder of the internal combustion engine of the moving average value and the value of the difference between cylinders of the internal combustion engine of the moving average value. Since this is calculated and corrected, useless EGR control can be avoided without being greatly affected by the unexpectedly effective average effective pressure that occurs unexpectedly. In addition, an operation state detection unit that detects an engine parameter different from the pressure in the cylinder of the internal combustion engine is provided, and the predetermined number of samples changes according to the engine parameter detected by the operation state detection unit. Since it is comprised, the moving average value suitable for the driving | running state of the engine can be calculated | required, and the delicate and favorable EGR control according to the driving | running state of an engine can be made.
[0008]
In the engine control device, the predetermined target range may be configured to change according to an engine parameter detected by the operating state detection unit.
By doing so, a target value suitable for the operating state of the engine can be determined, and delicate and good EGR control according to the operating state of the engine can be performed.
[0009]
The average effective pressure refers to the illustrated average effective pressure during ignition, which will be described later.

In this way, the latest indicated average effective pressure value at the time of ignition and the indicated average effective pressure value at the time of ignition obtained two times earlier are weighted to obtain an average thereof, and the indicated average effective pressure at the time of ignition is newly determined. As shown in FIG. 4, the value of the indicated mean effective pressure during ignition necessary for calculating the average value, in other words, the object to be averaged, changes on the time series (the dotted frame shifts to the right) The moving average value is obtained sequentially for each cycle.
[0036]
Here, the case where the moving average is obtained from the three values of the indicated effective effective pressure at the time of ignition has been described, but in the present embodiment, the number N of objects to be averaged is made variable, and the indicated effective effective pressure at the time of ignition. The moving average value PmiAV (n) of Pmi is generally as follows.

[0044]
According to such processing, the value of N can be set according to the engine speed Ne, and the moving average value of the indicated mean effective pressure at the time of ignition of the number of samples suitable for the engine operating state can be obtained. That is, during the idling state, it is conceivable that the indicated average effective pressure during ignition fluctuates considerably in time series. In such a case, the moving average value is reduced by reducing the number of samples of the indicated average effective pressure during ignition. Thus, the EGR amount can be controlled by coping with the large fluctuation immediately. As the engine speed increases, the fluctuation range of the indicated mean effective pressure during ignition may gradually decrease over time, so the number of indicated mean effective pressures during ignition is less at low speeds and higher at high speeds. Thus, the moving average value is obtained, and the EGR amount can be controlled in accordance with the low-speed rotation and the high-speed rotation.

The process shown in FIG. 5 is executed for each cylinder, and a moving average value for each cylinder is obtained. In addition, the obtained moving average value is stored in the

[0058]
In the subroutine of FIG. 6, the cycle-to-cycle variation allowable value PA that defines the predetermined target range is a constant value, but may be a variable value. For example, the operating state detection means for detecting an engine parameter different from the pressure in the cylinder of the
[0059]
Also in the subroutine of FIG. 7, the cylinder-to-cylinder range allowable value PB that defines the predetermined target range is a constant value, but may be a variable value. For example, ERG control for correcting an appropriate inter-cylinder range difference can be achieved by changing the inter-cylinder range allowable value PB according to the engine operating state grasped as described above.
[0060]
In the above-described embodiment, the number N of samples to be subjected to the moving average is changed according to the engine speed Ne. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and the intake pipe pressure Pb, the cooling water temperature Tw, etc. In addition, the number of samples N can be changed according to the engine operating state in view of the above. According to this, a moving average value more suitable for the engine operating state can be obtained, and therefore extremely smooth EGR control can be performed.
[0061]
However, the present invention does not exclude an aspect in which the value of N is fixed. This is because a unique effect can be expected only by performing EGR control based on a moving average of a fixed number of samples. That is, a sample of Pmi (n) as depicted by a dotted line in FIG. 4 may be obtained. In this case, Pmi (n) is the value of Pmi (n−1) or Pmi (n + 1) before and after that. It has an extremely different value, and can be considered as an unreliable value that has taken an abnormal value for some reason. When the EGR control is performed by using the value of Pmi (n) as it is in the prior art to obtain the value of the cycle-to-cycle fluctuation or the difference between cylinders, the EGR control greatly depends on the value of Pmi (n). However, if the EGR control is performed by obtaining the cycle-to-cycle variation or the inter-cylinder range difference value based on the moving average value of Pmi of a predetermined number of samples as in the present invention, such an unexpectedly low illustrated average that occurs unexpectedly. It is possible to avoid useless EGR control without being greatly affected by the effective pressure.
[0062]
In the above embodiment, the weighting coefficient K 1 , K 2 , ..., K N Is fixed, but this may also be changed according to the operating state as described above.
Further, in the above embodiment, EGR control based on the moving average value of the indicated average effective pressure Pmi at the time of ignition is performed, but EGR control based on the moving average value of the stroke indicated average effective pressure Pme described above may be performed. The EGR control based on both the moving average values of the illustrated average effective pressure Pmi and the stroke average effective pressure Pme during ignition may be performed. The point is that the EGR control may be performed based on the indicated mean effective pressure correlated with the engine output or the moving average value equivalent thereto.
[0063]
【The invention's effect】
As described above in detail, according to the present invention, the average effective pressure is calculated for each cycle of the internal combustion engine from the in-cylinder pressure signal, and the moving average value is calculated using the value of the average effective pressure for a predetermined number of samples. Based on the moving average value, at least one of the value of the cycle-to-cycle variation in each cylinder of the internal combustion engine of the moving average value and the value of the moving average value of the inter-cylinder difference of the internal combustion engine is calculated. The exhaust gas recirculation amount in each cylinder of the internal combustion engine is controlled so that the fluctuation between cycles or the difference between cylinders converges within a predetermined target range.
[0064]
Thereby, inappropriate EGR control is not locally performed by an average effective pressure with low reliability that has changed significantly instantaneously, and appropriate and smooth EGR control can be performed.
In addition, the engine parameters different from the pressure in the cylinder of the internal combustion engine are detected, and the predetermined number of samples for which the moving average is taken is changed according to the detected engine parameters, thereby adapting to the engine operating state. Efficient EGR control can be performed.
[0065]
In addition to the predetermined number of samples, the target predetermined value for converging the cycle-to-cycle variation or the cylinder-to-cylinder difference is changed according to the detected engine parameter, so that it is more efficiently adapted to the engine operating state. EGR control can be performed.
