【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、包装装置に関し、たとえばシステムキッチンのシンク付き天板のような物品を包装するためのリユース可能な包装装置に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、たとえばシステムキッチンのシンク付き天板を現場等へ搬送する場合、発泡スチロールの緩衝ブロックを天板の要所にあてがい、段ボール製の外装材や粘着テープなどを用いて包装している。

上述のように、従来技術では、段ボール製の外装材や粘着テープなどを用いて天板を包装している。このため、現場で開梱した後、外装材や粘着テープが廃棄され、再度使用（リユース）されることはない。また、従来技術では、作業者が両手を用いて外装材や粘着テープなどを扱う必要があり、梱包作業が容易ではない。

そこで、本出願人は、たとえばシステムキッチンのシンク付き天板のような物品を包装するための包装装置であって、リユース可能で且つ梱包作業の容易な包装装置を提案している（特開２００２−３４７８８１号公報を参照）。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上述の公報に開示された従来の包装装置では、現場で開梱した後に配送者がコンパクトで且つ安定した形態で持ち帰ることができないという不都合があった。

本発明は、前述の課題に鑑みてなされたものであり、リユース可能で且つ梱包作業が容易であり、開梱した後にコンパクトで且つ安定した形態で持ち帰ることのできる包装装置を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
前記課題を解決するために、本発明では、物品を包装するためのリユース可能な包装装置であって、
矩形状の底面シートと、該底面シートに連接されて所定の面剛性を有する第１〜第４側面シートと、前記第１側面シートに連接された可撓性の上面シートと、全体的に平面状に展開された状態から前記物品を包装すべき立体的な形状を形成するために前記第１〜第４側面シートと前記上面シートとを局所的に仮留めするための第１仮留め部材とを備え、
前記底面シート上に前記第１〜第４側面シートおよび前記上面シートを折り畳んだ後に前記底面シートを内側に向かって２つ折りに折り畳むことが可能に構成され、
前記２つ折り状態を保持するための保持部材をさらに備え、前記保持部材は、前記２つ折り状態において互いに対向する前記第３側面シートと前記第４側面シートとを局所的に仮留めするための第２仮留め部材を有し、該第２仮留め部材は、前記２つ折り状態における前記第３側面シートの前記第４側面シート側の面および前記第４側面シートの前記第３側面シート側の面に設けられ、
前記底面シート上に前記第１側面シートおよび前記上面シートを折り畳み、前記上面シートの上に前記第２側面シートを折り畳み、前記第２側面シートの上に前記第３側面シートおよび前記第４側面シートを折り畳んだ状態において、前記第３側面シートおよび前記第４側面シートを前記第２側面シート上に局所的に仮留めするための第３仮留め部材をさらに備えていることを特徴とする包装装置を提供する。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明のリユース可能な包装装置は、矩形状の底面シートと、底面シートに連接されて所定の面剛性を有する第１〜第４側面シートと、第１側面シートに連接された可撓性の上面シートとにより構成されている。そして、全体的に平面状に展開された状態から、たとえばシステムキッチンのシンク付き天板のような物品を包装すべき立体的な形状を形成するために、第１〜第４側面シートと上面シートとを局所的に仮留めするための第１仮留め部材として、たとえばマジックテープ（登録商標）のような仮留め部材を備えている。

さらに、本発明の包装装置では、底面シート上に第１〜第４側面シートおよび上面シートを折り畳んだ後に、底面シートを内側に向かって２つ折りに折り畳むことが可能に構成され、この２つ折り状態を保持するための保持部材を備えている。こうして、リユース可能で且つ梱包作業が容易な本発明の包装装置では、底面シート上に第１〜第４側面シートおよび上面シートを折り畳んだ後に底面シートを内側に向かって２つ折りに畳んだ状態を保持することにより、開梱した後にコンパクトで且つ安定した形態で持ち帰ることができる。さらに、不使用時には、上述のコンパクトで且つ安定した形態で包装装置を積み重ねて保管することもできる。

なお、本発明では、２つ折り状態を保持するための保持部材は、２つ折り状態において互いに対向する第３側面シートと第４側面シートとを局所的に仮留めするための第２仮留め部材を有することが好ましい。この構成では、第２仮留め部材として、たとえばマジックテープを用いることにより、２つ折り状態を保持するための操作および２つ折り状態を解除するための操作を簡易な構成にしたがって容易に且つ確実に行うことができる。

また、本発明では、底面シート上に第１側面シートおよび上面シートを折り畳み、上面シートの上に第２側面シートを折り畳み、第２側面シートの上に第３側面シートおよび第４側面シートを折り畳んだ状態において、第３側面シートおよび第４側面シートを第２側面シート上に局所的に仮留めするための第３仮留め部材をさらに備えていることが好ましい。この構成では、第３仮留め部材として、たとえばマジックテープを用いることにより、２つ折り状態を実現するための第１工程である操作、すなわち底面シート上に第１〜第４側面シートおよび上面シートを折り畳む操作を簡易な構成にしたがって容易に且つ確実に行うことができる。

さらに、本発明では、上面シートの側縁部に設けられた環状部材と、第２側面シートの側縁部に設けられた帯状部材とを備え、帯状部材の先端部は、物品の包装状態において、環状部材を貫通した後に帯状部材の本体部に仮留め可能に構成されていることが好ましい。この構成では、帯状部材の先端部と帯状部材の本体部との仮留めを、たとえばマジックテープの作用により行うことにより、物品を包装するための最終操作を簡易な構成にしたがって容易に且つ確実に行うことができる。

本発明の実施形態を、添付図面に基づいて説明する。
図１は、本発明の実施形態にかかる包装装置の平面状に展開された状態を示す図である。また、図２は、本実施形態にかかる包装装置を用いて物品の包装が終了する直前の状態を示す図である。なお、図２では、図面の明瞭化のために、仮留め部材（２ａ，２ｂ，３ａ〜３ｅ，４ａ，４ｂ，５ａ，５ｂ，８ａ，８ｂ，９ａ，９ｂ，１０ａ，１０ｂ，１１ａ，１１ｂなど）の図示を省略している。本実施形態では、システムキッチンのシンク付き天板（大きさ：間口１８００ｍｍ〜２７００ｍｍ、奥行６００ｍｍ〜７００ｍｍ）の包装に本発明を適用している。

図１を参照すると、本実施形態の包装装置は、矩形状の底面シート１と、底面シート１の４辺に連接されて所定の面剛性を有する矩形状の第１側面シート２〜第４側面シート５と、第１側面シート２に連接された可撓性で矩形状の上面シート６とを備えている。ここで、面剛性を有する第１側面シート２〜第４側面シート５は、たとえばＰＰ（ポリプロピレン）で形成されている。また、可撓性の上面シート６は、たとえばＰＥ（ポリエチレン）で形成され且つ透明または半透明に形成されている。これにより、梱包作業の途中においてシンク付き天板の状態を確認しながら作業することができ、梱包後に外から中の説明書等を確認することができる。

なお、底面シート１は、たとえばＰＰで形成されて面剛性を有するシートであってもよいし、たとえばＰＥで形成された可撓性のシートであってもよい。また、底面シート１が上面シート６と同様にＰＥで形成された可撓性のシートの場合、透明または半透明に形成されていてもよいし、非透明に形成されていてもよい。いずれにしても、底面シート１、第１側面シート２〜第４側面シート５、および上面シート６は、たとえばＰＰやＰＥのようなリユース可能な材料で形成されて平面状に展開可能である。

また、本実施形態の包装装置では、互いに対向する第１側面シート２および第２側面シート３の内側面（図１の紙面の表側）において、その右端にはマジックテープの一方の面を構成するテープ面２ａおよび３ａがそれぞれ形成され、その左端にはマジックテープの他方の面を構成するテープ面２ｂおよび３ｂがそれぞれ形成されている。また、互いに対向する第３側面シート４および第４側面シート５の外側面（図１の紙面の裏側）の両端には、マジックテープの他方の面を構成するテープ面４ａ，４ｂ、およびマジックテープの他方の面を構成するテープ面５ａ，５ｂがそれぞれ形成されている。後述するように、包装に際して、テープ面２ａと４ａと、２ｂと５ａと、３ａと４ｂと、３ｂと５ｂとがそれぞれ当接係合する。

さらに、本実施形態の包装装置では、上面シート６の内側面の上端には、マジックテープの他方の面を構成するテープ面６ａ〜６ｃが間隔を隔てて形成されている。また、上面シート６の右端にはマジックテープの一方の面を構成するテープ面６ｄおよび６ｅが間隔を隔てて形成され、上面シート６の左端にはマジックテープの他方の面を構成するテープ面６ｆおよび６ｇが間隔を隔てて形成されている。

一方、第２側面シート３の外側面の下端には、テープ面６ａ〜６ｃに対応するように、マジックテープの一方の面を構成するテープ面３ｃ〜３ｅが間隔を隔てて形成されている。ただし、３つのテープ面３ｃ〜３ｅのうち、両側のテープ面３ｃおよび３ｅは、対応するテープ面６ａおよび６ｃよりも中央に向かって長く延びている。後述するように、包装に際して、テープ面６ａと３ｃと、６ｂと３ｄと、６ｃと３ｅとがそれぞれ当接係合する。また、包装に際して、テープ面６ｄと４ｂと、６ｅと４ａと、６ｆと５ｂと、６ｇと５ａとがそれぞれ当接係合する。

また、本実施形態の包装装置では、上面シート６の上端（側縁部）には、４つの環状部材７ａ〜７ｄが間隔を隔てて設けられている。また、上面シート６、第１側面シート２、底面シート１および第２側面シート３の外側面には、４つの環状部材７ａ〜７ｄの位置に対応するように、４つの帯状部材８〜１１が鉛直方向に沿って設けられている。なお、第２側面シート３から外側に突出している帯状部材８〜１１の先端部の外側面には、マジックテープの一方の面を構成するテープ面８ａ〜１１ａがそれぞれ形成されている。また、第２側面シート３の領域において、帯状部材８〜１１の本体部の外側面の所定位置には、マジックテープの他方の面を構成するテープ面８ｂ〜１１ｂがそれぞれ形成されている。後述するように、包装に際して、テープ面８ａと８ｂと、９ａと９ｂと、１０ａと１０ｂと、１１ａと１１ｂとがそれぞれ当接係合する。

また、本実施形態の包装装置では、互いに対向する第３側面シート４および第４側面シート５の内側面の所定位置（テープ面３ｅおよび３ｃに対応する位置）に、マジックテープの他方の面を構成するテープ面４ｃおよび５ｃがそれぞれ形成されている。後述するように、テープ面４ｃおよび５ｃは、包装に際して使用されることはないが、開梱後に包装装置を折り畳む際に、テープ面４ｃと３ｅと、５ｃと３ｃとがそれぞれ当接係合する。また、後述するように、開梱後に包装装置を折り畳む際に、テープ面４ａと５ａと、４ｂと５ｂとがそれぞれ当接係合する。

本実施形態では、物品の包装に際して、底面シート１の上にシンク付き天板２０を載置する。そして、必要に応じて、シンク付き天板２０の要所に、たとえば発泡スチロールで形成された様々な緩衝ブロックをあてがう。具体的には、シンク付き天板２０の両端部には端部用の緩衝ブロックがあてがわれ、シンク付き天板２０の中間部には中間部用の緩衝ブロックがあてがわれる。また、必要に応じて、底面シート１上の余剰スペースには、充填用の緩衝ブロックがあてがわれる。

次いで、シンク付き天板２０の側面を包囲するように、第３側面シート４および第４側面シート５を底面シート１との境界線を折り目として立ち上げた後に、第１側面シート２および第２側面シート３を底面シート１との境界線を折り目として立ち上げる。このとき、第１側面シート２には上面シート１が連接しているが、上面シート１が可撓性であるため第１側面シート２の立ち上げを容易に行うことができる。なお、第３側面シート４および第４側面シート５を立ち上げた状態で、テープ面４ｃおよび５ｃを含む矩形状の領域を図１中の破線１２ａおよび１２ｂを折り目として内側へそれぞれ折り曲げる。

こうして、第１側面シート２〜第４側面シート５を立ち上げた状態で、第１側面シート２のテープ面２ａの近傍で折り曲げてテープ面２ａと第３側面シート４のテープ面４ａとを当接係合させ、第２側面シート３のテープ面３ａの近傍で折り曲げてテープ面３ａと第３側面シート４のテープ面４ｂとを当接係合させる。同様に、第１側面シート２のテープ面２ｂの近傍で折り曲げてテープ面２ｂと第４側面シート５のテープ面５ａとを当接係合させ、第２側面シート３のテープ面３ｂの近傍で折り曲げてテープ面３ｂと第４側面シート５のテープ面５ｂとを当接係合させる。

最後に、シンク付き天板２０の上面を可撓性の上面シート６で覆った状態において、上面シート６のテープ面６ａ〜６ｃを第２側面シート３を覆うように折り曲げてテープ面６ａ〜６ｃと第２側面シート３のテープ面３ｃ〜３ｅとをそれぞれ当接係合させる。また、上面シート６のテープ面６ｄと第３側面シート４のテープ面４ｂとを当接係合させ、上面シート６のテープ面６ｅと第３側面シート４のテープ面４ａとを当接係合させる。同様に、上面シート６のテープ面６ｆと第４側面シート５のテープ面５ｂとを当接係合させ、上面シート６のテープ面６ｇと第４側面シート５のテープ面５ａとを当接係合させる。

さらに、帯状部材８〜１１の先端部が環状部材７ａ〜７ｄを貫通するように導いた後に、帯状部材８〜１１の先端部を本体部の方へ折り返して、先端部のテープ面８ａ〜１１ａと本体部のテープ面８ｂ〜１１ｂとを当接係合させる。こうして、本実施形態では、リユース可能な包装装置を用いて、シンク付き天板２０の梱包作業を容易に行うことができる。

図３は、本実施形態にかかる包装装置を開梱後に折り畳む途中の中間状態を示す図である。また、図４は、本実施形態にかかる包装装置を２つ折りに折り畳む様子を示す図である。さらに、図５は、本実施形態にかかる包装装置を２つ折りに折り畳んだ最終状態を示す図である。

上述の梱包作業を逆の順序で行うことにより本実施形態の包装装置を開梱し、さらにシンク付き天板２０を包装装置から取り出すと、図１に示すように平面状に展開された状態が得られる。本実施形態の包装装置を折り畳む場合、底面シート１との境界線を折り目として第１側面シート２を底面シート１の上に折り畳んだ後に、第１側面シート２との境界線を折り目として上面シート６を底面シート１の上に折り畳む。このとき、上面シート６が底面シート１からはみ出すことがないように、必要に応じて上面シート６を２つ折りまたは３つ折りに折り畳む。

次いで、底面シート１との境界線を折り目として、第２側面シート３を上面シート６の上に折り畳む。さらに、底面シート１との境界線を折り目として第３側面シート４を第２側面シート３の上に折り畳むとともに、底面シート１との境界線を折り目として第４側面シート５を第２側面シート３の上に折り畳む。このとき、第３側面シート４のテープ面４ｃと第２側面シート３のテープ面３ｅとを当接係合させ、第４側面シート５のテープ面５ｃと第２側面シート３のテープ面３ｃとを当接係合させる。こうして、上面シート６、第１側面シート２および第２側面シート３がはみ出すことなく内側に折り畳まれ、図３に示すような安定的な形態の中間状態が得られる。

次いで、図３に示す中間状態から、図１中の破線１３を折り目として底面シート１を内側に向かって２つ折りに折り畳むことにより、図４に示す状態を経て、図５に示すように最終的な２つ折り状態が得られる。このとき、第３側面シート４のテープ面４ａと第４側面シート５のテープ面５ａとを当接係合させ、第３側面シート４のテープ面４ｂと第４側面シート５のテープ面５ｂとを当接係合させる。こうして、図５に示すように、本実施形態の包装装置をコンパクトで且つ安定した形態に折り畳むことができる。

以上のように、本実施形態のリユース可能な包装装置は、矩形状の底面シート１と、底面シート１に連接されて所定の面剛性を有する第１側面シート２〜第４側面シート５と、第１側面シート２に連接された可撓性の上面シート６とにより構成されている。そして、全体的に平面状に展開された状態から、シンク付き天板２０を包装すべき立体的な形状を形成するために、第１側面シート２〜第４側面シート５と上面シート６とを局所的に仮留めするための第１仮留め部材として、たとえばマジックテープのような仮留め部材（２ａ，２ｂ，３ａ〜３ｅ，４ａ，４ｂ，５ａ，５ｂ，６ａ〜６ｇなど）を備えている。

さらに、本実施形態の包装装置では、底面シート１上に第１側面シート２〜第４側面シート５および上面シート６を折り畳んだ後に、底面シート１を内側に向かって２つ折りに折り畳むことが可能に構成され、この２つ折り状態を保持するための保持部材（４ｃ，５ｃ，３ｃ，３ｅ；４ａ，４ｂ，５ａ，５ｂ）を備えている。こうして、リユース可能で且つ梱包作業が容易な本実施形態の包装装置では、底面シート１上に第１側面シート２〜第４側面シート５および上面シート６を折り畳んだ後に底面シート１を内側に向かって２つ折りに畳んだ状態を保持することにより、開梱した後にコンパクトで且つ安定した形態で持ち帰ることができる。このとき、図３〜図５に示すように、たとえば環状の把持部材１４ａおよび１４ｂを底面シート１の第３側面シート４側に設け、環状の把持部材１５ａおよび１５ｂを底面シート１の第４側面シート５側に設けることにより、包装装置の持ち運びを容易に行うことができる。さらに、不使用時には、上述のコンパクトで且つ安定した形態で包装装置を積み重ねて保管することもできる。

また、本実施形態では、２つ折り状態を保持するための保持部材は、２つ折り状態において互いに対向する第３側面シート４と第４側面シート５とを局所的に仮留めするための第２仮留め部材としてマジックテープ（４ａ，４ｂ，５ａ，５ｂ）を用いている。その結果、２つ折り状態を保持するための操作および２つ折り状態を解除するための操作を簡易な構成にしたがって容易に且つ確実に行うことができる。

さらに、本実施形態では、上面シート６の側縁部に設けられた環状部材７ａ〜７ｄと、第２側面シート３の側縁部に設けられた（実際には上面シート６、第１側面シート２、底面シート１および第２側面シート３の外側面に設けられた）帯状部材８〜１１とを備え、帯状部材８〜１１の先端部８ａ〜１１ａは、包装状態において環状部材７ａ〜７ｄを貫通した後に帯状部材の本体部８ｂ〜１１ｂにマジックテープの作用により仮留め可能に構成されている。その結果、シンク付き天板２０を包装するための最終操作を簡易な構成にしたがって容易に且つ確実に行うことができる。

なお、上述の実施形態では、シンク付き天板の包装に本発明を適用しているが、これに限定されることなく、他の適当な物品の包装に本発明を適用することができる。

【発明の効果】
以上説明したように、本発明の包装装置では、底面シート上に第１〜第４側面シートおよび上面シートを折り畳んだ後に、底面シートを内側に向かって２つ折りに折り畳むことが可能に構成され、この２つ折り状態を保持するための保持部材を備えている。その結果、底面シート上に第１〜第４側面シートおよび上面シートを折り畳んだ後に底面シートを内側に向かって２つ折りに畳んだ状態を保持することにより、開梱した後にコンパクトで且つ安定した形態で持ち帰ることができる。さらに、不使用時には、上述のコンパクトで且つ安定した形態で包装装置を積み重ねて保管することもできる。
