Description
【0001】

L= c×(T2−Tofs)/(T1−Tofs)
r= (a+d)−(L)

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a fishing reel that measures the feeding amount and winding amount of a fishing line with high accuracy.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Fishing reels have been developed that can measure the depth of the fishing line that is fed out and wound up from the spool, or the distance to the arrival point when the device is thrown, or when it is thrown far away.
[0003]
In order to accurately measure the length of the fishing line fed and wound from the spool of such a fishing reel, it is necessary to measure how much fishing line is fed and taken up per spool rotation. There is. However, since the fishing line feed amount and winding amount per one rotation of the spool differ depending on the thickness of the fishing line and the number of windings of the spool, the measurement value includes an error.
[0004]
In order to eliminate these errors, an optical system such as a semiconductor laser or a light emitting diode has been conventionally used as means for accurately measuring a fishing line wound on a spool (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 1-307612). Recently, measurement methods using an ultrasonic sensor are popular, and there are mainly two types of measurement methods.
[0005]
In a transmission / reception measurement method that uses a single ultrasonic sensor for transmission and reception, the ultrasonic wave is transmitted from the ultrasonic sensor toward the fishing line wound on the spool, and the ultrasonic wave reflected from the surface of the fishing line is ultrasonicated again. By receiving with a sensor, the ultrasonic propagation time from transmission to reception can be measured (JP-A-3-223614).
[0006]
On the other hand, in the measurement method in which transmission and reception are separately performed for transmission and reception using two ultrasonic sensors, ultrasonic waves are transmitted from the transmission ultrasonic sensor toward the fishing line wound on the spool, and the surface of the fishing line is transmitted. By receiving the reflected ultrasonic wave with a receiving ultrasonic sensor, it is possible to measure the ultrasonic propagation time from transmission to reception (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 8-254419).
[0007]
Then, the signal from the sensor that detects the rotation of the spool is processed with the previously obtained ultrasonic propagation time, so that the fishing line feed amount and winding amount are calculated as the spool rotates.
[0008]
In addition, since the sound speed of the ultrasonic wave changes depending on the temperature and causes an error in the ultrasonic propagation time, a temperature sensor or the like for correcting the sound speed of the ultrasonic wave is added when performing highly accurate measurement.
[0009]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in a measuring device for transmission and reception that transmits and receives with one ultrasonic sensor, it is very difficult to measure the distance when the distance between the surface of the fishing line wound on the spool and the ultrasonic sensor is short. is there.
[0010]
The main reason is that when ultrasonic waves are generated by applying a transmission voltage, which is a pulse signal, to an ultrasonic sensor, the reverberation remains in the ultrasonic sensor for a certain period of time until the vibration attenuates and disappears. When reverberation is present, the reflected wave from the surface of the fishing line wound on the spool returns to the ultrasonic sensor, and the reflected wave and the reverberation overlap, and the ultrasonic wave propagation from transmission to reception Due to the problem that it is impossible to measure time accurately.
[0011]
Therefore, it is necessary to mount the ultrasonic sensor at a certain distance from the spool, and there is a limit to downsizing the fishing reel in order to secure an ultrasonic wave propagation space.
[0012]
In addition, a measurement apparatus that performs transmission and reception with two ultrasonic sensors requires two ultrasonic sensors, which is problematic in terms of downsizing, weight reduction, and high cost of the sensor unit.
[0013]
In addition, since the shape of the surface of the fishing line wound around the spool is a cylinder, the ultrasonic beam emitted from the ultrasonic sensor diffuses when reflected from the surface of the fishing line that is the target, and is reflected in the incident direction. Energy will decrease. For this reason, there is a problem that the level of the reflected wave that reaches the ultrasonic sensor is lowered and detection becomes impossible or the measurement accuracy is lowered.
[0014]
In addition, since the sound speed of the ultrasonic wave changes depending on the temperature and gives an error in the propagation of the ultrasonic wave, a temperature sensor for correcting the sound speed of the ultrasonic wave has been added when performing highly accurate measurement. The addition of a new temperature sensor has a negative effect in terms of reducing the size and weight of the sensor section, and further increases the cost.
[0015]
In addition, if dirt or water droplets adhere to the radiation surface (transmitting surface and receiving surface) of the ultrasonic sensor, it is absorbed or reflected by water droplets that radiate from the ultrasonic sensor and that have ultrasonic energy incident on the ultrasonic sensor. As a result, the level of reflected echo from the received target is lowered. In this case, ultrasonic measurement could not be performed, and it was impossible to measure the fishing line feed amount and winding amount.
[0016]
In view of the above-described problems, the present invention enables high-accuracy measurement of ultrasonic propagation time even when the distance between the surface of a fishing line wound on a spool and the ultrasonic sensor is short. An object of the present invention is to provide a fishing reel that can be performed using an ultrasonic sensor.
[0017]
In addition, the transmission wave is converged to irradiate the fishing line wound on the spool, and the reflected wave from the surface of the fishing line can be efficiently captured by an ultrasonic sensor to improve measurement accuracy. An object is to provide a reel device.
[0018]
It is another object of the present invention to provide a fishing reel device capable of correcting sound speed by a simple means without using a temperature sensor for correcting the sound speed of ultrasonic waves.
[0019]
It is another object of the present invention to provide a fishing reel device capable of giving a warning so that accurate ultrasonic measurement can be performed when the reflection echo level of an ultrasonic sensor is lowered due to adhesion of dirt, water droplets, or the like. And
[0020]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The fishing reel according to claim 1 rotatably supports a spool for winding a fishing line between opposing side surfaces, and measures the thickness of the fishing line wound on the spool.SharedIn fishing reels equipped with ultrasonic sensors,
It is disposed in a propagation path between the ultrasonic sensor and the fishing line wound around the spool, reflects a transmission wave from the ultrasonic sensor toward the fishing line wound around the spool, and winds around the spool. In order to reflect the reflected wave from the fishing line that is reflected toward the ultrasonic sensor, a parabolic reflector having a shape obtained by cutting off a part of the rotating paraboloid is provided.
A predetermined angle from a right angle with respect to the propagation path so that a part of the transmitted wave is reflected toward the ultrasonic sensor and no multiple reflection occurs between the ultrasonic sensor and the propagation path. It is provided with a calibration target for tilting and arranging ultrasonic sound velocity correction and foreign matter adhesion warning..
[0021]
The fishing reel according to
[0022]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the fishing reel according to the first or second aspect, the ultrasonic speed of sound is corrected based on a delay time from transmission of a reflected wave from the calibration target. At the same time, it is characterized in that a warning is given to the adhesion of foreign matter to the ultrasonic sensor or the calibration target based on the level of the reflected wave from the calibration target.
[0023]
The fishing reel according to
It is disposed in a propagation path between the ultrasonic sensor and the fishing line wound around the spool, reflects a transmission wave from the ultrasonic sensor toward the fishing line wound around the spool, and winds around the spool. A flat reflector is provided so as to reflect the reflected wave from the fishing line being directed toward the ultrasonic sensor,
A predetermined angle from a right angle with respect to the propagation path so that a part of the transmitted wave is reflected toward the ultrasonic sensor and no multiple reflection occurs between the ultrasonic sensor and the propagation path. In addition to providing a calibration target for correcting the ultrasonic sound velocity and foreign matter adhesion warning,
The ultrasonic emission surface of the ultrasonic sensor has a radius of a sum of a distance between the planar reflector and the center axis of the spool and a distance between the ultrasonic sensor and the planar reflector. It is the shape which cut off a part of the circumference to make.
[0024]
According to a fifth aspect of the present invention, in the fishing reel according to the fourth aspect, the calibration target is provided on a part of the planar reflector.
[0025]
According to a sixth aspect of the present invention, in the fishing reel according to the fourth or fifth aspect, the ultrasonic sound velocity is corrected based on a delay time from transmission of the reflected wave from the calibration target. At the same time, it is characterized in that a warning is given to the adhesion of foreign matter to the ultrasonic sensor or the calibration target based on the level of the reflected wave from the calibration target.
[0026]
According to the present invention, the propagation of the transmission wave from the ultrasonic sensor to the target fishing line surface and the propagation of the reflected wave from the fishing line surface to the ultrasonic sensor are not directly propagated but are propagated through the reflector. The Therefore, it is not necessary to take the ultrasonic wave propagation space in a straight line, and it is possible to take a sufficient propagation distance to the outside of the reverberation time range, thereby increasing the degree of freedom in the attachment position of the vibrator.
[0027]
In addition, since the ultrasonic propagation distance to the outside of the reverberation time range can be sufficiently secured by the reflector, the transducer can be transmitted / received by one transducer without separately preparing for transmission / reception, Even when the distance between the surface of the fishing line wound on the spool and the ultrasonic sensor is short, it is possible to accurately measure the ultrasonic propagation distance by using the reflector, so the whole fishing reel can be downsized. , Leading to cost reduction.
[0028]
In addition, the phase of the ultrasonic beam emitted from the ultrasonic sensor is fixed when reflected by a parabolic reflector with a part of the rotating paraboloid cut off. It is suppressed that the beam is diffused and attenuated. Therefore, since the echo level increases, the reflected wave from the surface of the fishing line wound around the spool can be reliably captured by the ultrasonic sensor, and the measurement accuracy is improved.
[0029]
In addition, the ultrasonic beam transmitted from the circumferential ultrasonic sensor is converged and applied to the surface of the fishing line, and the reflected wave from the surface of the fishing line is also reflected in the incident direction. The reflected wave from the surface of the fishing line can be reliably captured by the curved ultrasonic sensor, and the measurement accuracy is improved.
[0030]
In addition, since the propagation time from a known distance can be measured by receiving the reflected wave from the calibration target provided at the predetermined position where the ultrasonic transmission wave is irradiated, the ultrasonic wave can be measured. Sound speed correction can be performed without newly adding a temperature sensor for correcting the sound speed.
[0031]
In addition, since the propagation time from a known distance can be measured by receiving the reflected wave from the calibration target added on the reflector with the ultrasonic sensor, the temperature sensor is used to correct the ultrasonic sound velocity. The speed of sound can be corrected without newly adding. In addition, since the calibration target can be formed together with the reflector, the configuration becomes simpler.
[0032]
In addition, when the received waveform obtained by the ultrasonic sensor is monitored and a drop in the echo level occurs, it is determined that there are deposits on the ultrasonic sensor and the reflector, and the indicator provided on the fishing reel The warning means such as is operated to warn. Therefore, normal measurement can be performed again by cleaning the ultrasonic sensor and the reflector according to this warning.

【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention,The propagation of the transmission wave from the ultrasonic sensor to the target fishing line surface and the propagation of the reflected wave from the fishing line surface to the ultrasonic sensor are not propagated directly but are propagated through the reflector. Therefore, it is not necessary to take the ultrasonic wave propagation space in a straight line, and it is possible to take a sufficient propagation distance to the outside of the reverberation time range, thereby increasing the degree of freedom in the attachment position of the vibrator.
[0073]
In addition, since the ultrasonic propagation distance to the outside of the reverberation time range can be sufficiently secured by the reflector, the transducer can be transmitted / received by one transducer without separately preparing for transmission / reception, Even when the distance between the surface of the fishing line wound on the spool and the ultrasonic sensor is short, it is possible to accurately measure the ultrasonic propagation distance by using the reflector, so the whole fishing reel can be downsized. Leads to.
[0074]
In addition, the phase of the ultrasonic beam emitted from the ultrasonic sensor is fixed when reflected by a parabolic reflector with a part of the rotating paraboloid cut off. It is suppressed that the beam is diffused and attenuated. Therefore, since the echo level increases, the reflected wave from the surface of the fishing line wound around the spool can be reliably captured by the ultrasonic sensor, and the measurement accuracy is improved.

[0076]
In addition, since the propagation time from a known distance can be measured by receiving the reflected wave from the calibration target provided at the predetermined position where the ultrasonic transmission wave is irradiated, the ultrasonic wave can be measured. Sound speed correction can be performed without newly adding a temperature sensor for correcting the sound speed.
