【従来の技術及びその課題】
従来、オイルパンは金型内で鋳造され、多数本の押出ピンで押されて金型より抜き取られるものであるが、従来では、押出ピンを当接させるための座部とかボスが多く必要であり、このようなボスとか座部が多くなることにより全体の重量が大となり、また材料代も多くなり、さらには、これらのボスとか座部は製品となった状態では邪魔な存在となってしまうという問題点があった。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は上記従来の問題点に鑑み案出したものであって、押出ピンが当接するボスとか座部を極めて少なくして良好に押出ピンで金型より抜き取ることのできるオイルパン及びその製造方法を提供せんことを目的とし、その第1の要旨は、金型内で鋳造され、押出ピンで金型より抜き取られるとともに、上面にはシリンダブロックに取り付けるためのボルト孔が形成されるオイルパンにおいて、前記押出ピンを前記ボルト孔の位置に配置して押し出すとともに、該押出ピンの当接により発生したバリを除去しながら前記ボルト孔を加工形成することである。
また、第2の要旨は、金型内で鋳造され、押出ピンで金型より抜き取られるとともに、上面にはシリンダブロックに取り付けるためのボルト孔が形成されるオイルパンの製造方法において、前記押出ピンを前記ボルト孔の位置に配置して押し出すとともに、該押出ピンの当接により発生したバリを除去しながら前記ボルト孔を加工形成することである。

【実施例】
以下、本発明の実施例を図面に基づいて説明する。
図1は、オイルパンと底カバーの取付状態の縦断面図であり、オイルパン1は内部にオイルを溜めることができるものであり、シリンダブロックに整合される上面フランジ部2が上面外周に形成されており、また、下面側には底カバー5を取り付けるための下面フランジ部3が形成されたものとなっている。
上面フランジ部2及び下面フランジ部3は肉厚状に形成されており、下面フランジ部3の内周側には、連続状にバッフルプレート4が一体形成されたものとなっており、このバッフルプレート4は下面フランジ部3に繋がって、鋳造により一体形成されたものである。

また、下面フランジ部3には底カバー5を取り付けるためのボルトを通すボルト孔3a,3aが複数形成されており、図3の底面図および図4の底面要部斜視図で示すように、下面フランジ部3の外周側には、位置決め突起7,7が2個所、下方へ向かって突出形成されたものとなっている。
即ち、底カバー5に、図1のように液体ガスケット6を塗布して、液体ガスケット6を介して底カバー5を下面フランジ部3に油密状に取り付けるに際し、底カバー5がズレると液体ガスケット6は外側及び内側にはみ出してしまい、良好なシール性が確保されなくなるため、底カバー5を取り付ける際には位置決め突起7,7で確実に位置を決めた状態でオイルパンの下面フランジ部3に整合させ、液体ガスケット6のはみ出しを防いで取り付けられるのである。
なお、位置決め突起7は、下面フランジ部3の外側に2個所以上突出させておく必要がある。なお、この位置決め突起7,7も金型内で鋳造する際に一体形成させることができるものである。

なお、図2の平面図で示すように、オイルパン1を金型内で鋳造し、金型から抜き取る際には、押出ピンで押圧して金型から抜き取るが、本例では、図2に示すように、上面フランジ部2に形成される複数のボルト孔8,8,8,8の位置に予め押出ピンを配置させておき、押出ピンをこのボルト孔8,8,8の位置の複数の個所に当接させて、押出ピンで押し出すことができるように構成されている。

なお、従来では、ボルト孔8の位置には押出ピンを当てないために、前記ボス9とか座部10,11を多数設けておく必要があり、その分、重量が大となっていたが、本例では、上面フランジ部2のボルト孔8の位置に押出ピンを当接させるものであるため、ボス9とか座部10,11の数を極めて少なくすることができるものである。

なお、金型からオイルパン1を抜き取った後に、複数のボルト孔8,8,8,8が上面フランジ部2に貫通状に形成されるものであり、このボルト孔8,8,8,8の孔開け加工時とか、座グリ加工時に、良好に押出ピンの当接により発生したバリを同時に除去することができる。

【発明の効果】
本発明は、金型内で鋳造され、押出ピンで金型より抜き取られるとともに、上面にはシリンダブロックに取り付けるためのボルト孔が形成されるオイルパンにおいて、押出ピンをボルト孔の位置に配置して押し出すとともに、押出ピンの当接により発生したバリを除去しながらボルト孔を加工形成することとしたため、ボルト孔の位置に多数の押出ピンを配置させて、この押出ピンで良好に金型から抜き取ることができ、抜き取った後に、押出ピンの当接により発生したバリを除去しながら良好に所定位置にボルト孔を加工形成させてオイルパンを製造することができ、従来のような押出ピン当接用のボスとか座面が少なくてすみ、そのため全体の重量が減少するとともに材料費も減少させることができるものとなる。
また、金型内で鋳造され、押出ピンで金型より抜き取られるとともに、上面にはシリンダブロックに取り付けるためのボルト孔が形成されるオイルパンの製造方法において、押出ピンをボルト孔の位置に配置して押し出すとともに、押出ピンの当接により発生したバリを除去しながらボルト孔を加工形成することとしたため、ボルト孔の位置に多数の押出ピンを配置させて、この押出ピンで良好に金型から抜き取ることができ、抜き取った後に、押出ピンの当接により発生したバリを除去しながら良好に所定位置にボルト孔を加工形成させてオイルパンを製造することができ、従来のような押出ピン当接用のボスとか座面が少なくてすみ、そのため全体の重量が減少するとともに材料費も減少させることができ るものとなる。
