BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an apparatus for driving and controlling a traveling motor of an electric vehicle.
[0002]
[Prior art and its problems]
2. Description of the Related Art A drive control device for an electric vehicle that converts a direct current power of a battery into an alternating current power to drive and control a traveling AC motor is known.
[0003]
By the way, in an electric vehicle using a synchronous motor as an AC motor, even if the key switch is turned OFF and the inverter is not operated during traveling, the synchronous motor becomes a generator and an induced voltage is applied to the inverter main circuit. This induced voltage increases as the motor speed increases. For example, if the key switch is turned on and restarted when the motor speed during downhill is high, the switching element operates with a high induced voltage applied to the inverter, so it is necessary to select a switching element with a high withstand voltage. .
[0004]
An object of the present invention is to provide a drive control device for an electric vehicle in which an inverter is restarted so as not to exceed a withstand voltage of a switching element.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
(1) The invention of claim 1 is a state in which a synchronous motor, a power conversion circuit that converts the DC power of the battery into AC power by a switching element to drive the synchronous motor, and the synchronous motor can be driven by the power conversion circuit The present invention is applied to a drive control device for an electric vehicle provided with a key switch.
Then, a speed detector that detects the rotational speed of the synchronous motor, a coil temperature detector that detects the coil temperature of the synchronous motor, and an induced voltage of the synchronous motor is estimated based on the rotational speed detection value and the coil temperature detection value. An induced voltage estimation circuit, an element temperature detector that detects the temperature of the switching element, a withstand voltage estimation circuit that estimates the withstand voltage of the switching element based on the detected element temperature value, and when the key switch is turned on, the speed detector And a control circuit that prohibits driving of the synchronous motor by the power conversion circuit when the rotational speed is detected and the induced voltage estimated value is equal to or higher than the estimated withstand voltage value of the switching element.
(2) The drive control device for an electric vehicle according to
(3) In the drive control device for an electric vehicle according to
Vm ≧ Vi / K, where K is a constant and K> 1
In this case, the driving of the synchronous motor by the power conversion circuit is prohibited.
[0006]
【The invention's effect】
(1) According to the invention of claim 1, the induced voltage of the synchronous motor is estimated based on the detected rotational speed value of the synchronous motor and the detected coil temperature value, and the switching element withstand voltage is detected by detecting the temperature of the switching element. If the motor rotation speed is detected when the key switch is turned on and the estimated motor induced voltage is greater than the estimated breakdown voltage of the switching element of the power conversion circuit, the synchronous motor drive by the power conversion circuit is prohibited . Therefore, it is possible to more accurately determine whether or not the power conversion circuit is operable by using an accurate switching element withstand voltage corresponding to the temperature of the switching element, and the switching withstand voltage is exceeded without increasing the withstand voltage of the switching element of the power conversion circuit. In this way, the driving of the rotating synchronous motor by the power conversion circuit can be resumed.

In this manner, the motor magnet temperature Tm ′ is estimated based on the detected motor coil temperature value Tm, and the induced voltage Vm of the synchronous motor is estimated based on the detected motor rotation speed value Nm and the estimated motor magnet temperature value Tm ′. When the IGBT temperature Ti is detected to estimate the IGBT withstand voltage Vi, the motor rotation speed Nm is detected when the key switch is turned on, and the motor induced voltage estimated value Vm is greater than or equal to the IGBT withstand voltage estimated value Vi of the inverter main circuit Since the driving of the synchronous motor by the inverter main circuit is prohibited, the driving of the rotating synchronous motor by the inverter main circuit is resumed without increasing the switching withstand voltage without increasing the breakdown voltage of the IGBT of the inverter main circuit. it can.
Further, since an accurate switching withstand voltage estimated value Vi corresponding to the temperature of the IGBT is used for determining whether or not the inverter main circuit is operable, more accurate determination is possible.
Further, the motor magnet temperature Tm ′ is estimated based on the detected motor coil temperature value Tm, and the induced voltage Vm of the synchronous motor is estimated based on the estimated motor magnet temperature value Tm ′ and the detected motor rotation speed value Nm. As a result, the accurate induced voltage Vm can be estimated, and the power conversion circuit can be determined more accurately.
[0016]
In the configuration of the above embodiment, the
[0017]
In the above-described embodiment of the present invention, the switching withstand voltage Vi is estimated based on the IGBT temperature Ti. However, since the switching withstand voltage Vi of the IGBT does not change much with respect to the change in the IGBT temperature Ti, the switching withstand voltage Vi is set to the IGBT temperature. It may be constant regardless of Ti.
[0018]
Moreover, although the example which used IGBT as a switching element of an inverter main circuit was shown in the said embodiment, the switching element of an inverter main circuit is not limited to IGBT.
[0019]
Further, in the above-described embodiment, an example in which the operation of the inverter main circuit is prohibited when the motor induced voltage Vm is equal to or higher than the switching withstand voltage estimated value Vi is shown. The voltage Vm may be further lowered. That is, the induced voltage estimated value Vm and the switching withstand voltage estimated value Vi are
[Expression 1]
Vm ≧ Vi / K, where K is a constant and K> 1
In this case, the operation of the inverter main circuit is prohibited.
For example, when K is 1.3, when an IGBT having a switching breakdown voltage of 600 V is used, the operation of the inverter main circuit is prohibited at an induced voltage of about 450 V, which is lower than 600 V.
In this way, it is possible to determine whether or not the power conversion circuit is operable, and to improve the reliability of the apparatus.
