Description
【0001】

さらに、この復調部にてTMCC(Transmission and Multiplexing Configuration Control:伝送多重制御信号)情報を認識でき、各受信機11,12の復調部からサイマル放送判定部13に対してTMCC情報a1,a2を送信する。

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a digital broadcast receiver for a moving body such as a vehicle.
[0002]
[Prior art]
At present, terrestrial digital television broadcasting is scheduled to start in Japan in 2003, and fixed broadcasting and mobile broadcasting are scheduled to be performed in this terrestrial digital television broadcasting. This fixed terrestrial digital television broadcast can provide a clear image because of the high bit rate compressed by the MPEG2 standard. On the other hand, terrestrial digital television broadcasting for mobile units is suitable for reception by mobile units because of the low bit rate compressed by the MPEG4 standard.
[0003]
However, the broadcast for mobiles has a low resolution due to the low bit rate, and depending on the display size, the coarseness of the resolution is conspicuous, and the advantage of providing high-quality images, which is one of the features of digital broadcasting, is relatively (See, for example, Non-Patent Document 1). Of course, fixed broadcasting is basically unsuitable for mobile reception (see Non-Patent

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In this way, when receiving at a mobile body, considering measures against fading due to movement and weakening of radio waves from a transmitting station, it is considered that broadcasting for mobile bodies is generally more suitable. Depending on the moving speed and the environment, there may be a situation in which a fixed broadcast can be received even if it is received by a moving body. In other words, it is not always possible to receive only a mobile-oriented broadcast if it is a mobile object. Depending on the situation, it can also receive a fixed-use broadcast, so if it can be received, it can receive a relatively high-quality fixed-use broadcast. This is preferable from the viewpoint of providing services to users.
[0006]
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to make it possible to receive high-quality broadcast content as much as possible with respect to digital broadcast reception on a mobile body.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems and Effects of the Invention]
(A)The present inventionMobile broadcast receiver for mobile phoneIs a device for receiving fixed digital broadcast and mobile digital broadcast by terrestrial digital TV broadcast waves transmitted from a transmitting station,The fixed digital broadcast received by the fixed digital broadcast receiving means and the mobile digital broadcast received by the mobile digital broadcast receiving means can be selectively output. Then, the reception status of the fixed digital broadcast is detected by the fixed digital broadcast reception status detection means, and the control means performs the following control based on the detected reception status. In other words, if the fixed digital broadcast can be properly received, the fixed digital broadcast is output to the output means, and if the fixed digital broadcast cannot be properly received, the mobile digital broadcast is output to the output means. It is.
[0008]
This receiving apparatus is used, for example, by being mounted on a moving body such as a vehicle. However, even a broadcasting receiving apparatus for a moving body cannot always receive only a digital broadcast intended for a moving body. For example, it may be assumed that a fixed digital broadcast can be received when the vehicle stops or travels at a low speed. Furthermore, even in a traveling state that cannot be said to be a low-speed traveling, reception may be possible depending on the surrounding environment. If the focus is on reliable reception, it is sufficient to receive digital broadcasts for mobiles. However, fixed digital broadcasts can receive relatively high-quality broadcast content, so if they can be received. The inventors of the present application have considered that it is preferable to be able to receive a relatively high-quality fixed-use broadcast from the viewpoint of providing services to the user. Therefore, if it can be received, a relatively high-definition digital broadcast is received, and if it cannot be received, it receives a mobile broadcast. As a result, it is possible to receive high-quality broadcast content as much as possible with respect to digital broadcast reception on a mobile unit.
[0009]
Note that the reception status of the fixed digital broadcast may be, for example, the bit error rate or the reception electric field level when demodulating the reception data by the fixed digital broadcast, and the fixed digital broadcast can be appropriately received based on these. It can be determined whether or not it is in a state.
[0010]
(B) By the way, if a program with the same content is always provided for both the fixed-use digital broadcast and the mobile-use digital broadcast, the program will always have the same content when switching between the fixed-use digital broadcast and the mobile-use digital broadcast. Can be switched without any consideration. However, at present, there are programs that are only broadcast on either side. Therefore, for a user who wants to switch to a program having the same content, if the switching is mechanically performed when it is not simultaneous broadcasting, the program is switched to a completely different program, which is a problem. Therefore, it is also effective to determine whether or not the broadcast is a simulcast and automatically switch only when the broadcast is a simulcast. The following two methods can be roughly classified.
[0011]
(B-1) The first method is as follows.1As shown inIn the TMCC (Transmission Multiplex Control) signal included in the terrestrial digital TV broadcast wave transmitted from the transmitting station, the same program is broadcasted by both the fixed-use digital broadcast and the mobile-use digital broadcast.Based on the premise that information indicating whether or not it is simulcast is included, it is determined whether or not the currently received digital broadcast is simulcast based on the information indicating whether or not it is simulcast. If the simulcast determination means determines that the broadcast is simulcast, the control means is configured to transmit the same program to the fixed digital broadcast and the mobile digital broadcast. Switch between the two.
[0012]
(B-2) Further, as the second method, the claim2As shown inThe control meansThe received content received by the fixed digital broadcast receiving means is compared with the received content received by the mobile digital broadcast receiving means, and based on the comparison result, it is determined whether or not the currently received digital broadcast is a simulcast. If there is a simulcast determination means for determining, and the simulcast determination means determines that the broadcast is a simulcast, the control means can transmit the same program to the fixed digital broadcast and the mobile digital broadcast Switch betweenThe simulcast determination means compares the degree of coincidence of the audio signal as the received content within a predetermined time, and if the degree of coincidence of the audio signal is the same broadcast content, the coincidence degree should be greater than a predetermined degree to be satisfied. For example, a method for determining that the currently received digital broadcast is a simulcast is conceivable..
[0013]
Since these two methods have the following merits, they may be used properly according to the situation to which the present invention is applied.
First, in the case of the first method described above, since information indicating whether or not the broadcast is a simulcast is included in the broadcast signal, it is possible to immediately determine whether or not it is a simulcast based on the information. However, this is highly dependent on the broadcasting station side. In other words, since it is established for the first time on the assumption that the broadcast signal transmitted from the broadcast station side includes information indicating whether or not it is simulcast, only broadcast signals that do not include such information are transmitted. It is not applicable if the situation is not.
[0014]
On the other hand, in the case of the second method described above, it is possible to cope with only the device on the receiving device side without depending on the broadcasting station side. Of course, in the case of comparison using an audio signal or a video signal, it cannot be determined unless a predetermined time is compared, and it takes a certain amount of time. Therefore, if information indicating whether or not it is simulcast is included in the broadcast signal, the determination using the information is more preferable as in the first method. However, it is inconvenient to be divided into cases where it is possible to determine whether or not it is simulcast by the receiving device depending on the circumstances of the broadcasting station. Therefore, the second method that does not depend on the broadcasting station side is advantageous in that the determination can be made regardless of the circumstances on the broadcasting station side.
[0015]
And in the case of the 2nd method shown in
[0016]
That isWhen the received content consists of both audio and video signalsEvenJudgment based on audio signalTheThis is because, even in the current broadcasting standards, it is stipulated that the sound is the same in simulcasting, whereas the video is not required to be strictly identical due to various circumstances. is there. This is caused by, for example, the screen size on the output side. For example, when an advertisement video is to be displayed on the screen, for example, when the screen size is small on a portable terminal such as a mobile phone, the effectiveness of the advertisement effect is the same as the display content on the screen size of a normal fixed television receiver. There is a risk of disappearing. In other words, it is because the content that is too small to be advertised is not visually recognized by the user. Therefore, it is allowed to change the video content according to the screen size. On the other hand, as described above, the sound is the same regardless of the screen size and there is no problem. Therefore, it is preferable that the original broadcast content itself is based on an audio signal that does not change between the fixed digital broadcast and the mobile digital broadcast.
[0017]
Note that the simulcast determination means in the case of the second method compares the received digital broadcast content and the mobile digital broadcast content, so that if both received contents are not properly received, an appropriate comparison is not possible. Can not. Therefore, the claim3As shown in FIG. 4, further comprising a mobile digital broadcast reception status detecting means for detecting a mobile digital broadcast reception status, wherein the simultaneous broadcast determination means is detected by the fixed digital broadcast reception status detection means. And the mobile digital broadcast reception status detection means, the audio signal as the received content is limited to a state where both the fixed digital broadcast and the mobile digital broadcast can be properly received.Of the issueYou may make it perform the comparison of the coincidence degree within predetermined time.
[0018]
In this way, the determination is made only when the comparison determination by the simulcast determination means is effective, reducing wasteful processing and reducing the processing load. (C) In the case of switching and outputting between fixed digital broadcasting and mobile digital broadcasting that are simulcasts, there is a delay amount between both broadcasts due to encoding during transmission and decoding during reception. Arise. At present, digital broadcasting for mobiles has a larger delay amount. This is because MPEG2 is adopted for the fixed product and MPEG4 is adopted for the mobile device, and the latter has a higher compression rate. That is, the digital broadcast for mobiles is delayed for a predetermined time on the transmission side due to the time required for the compression processing, and the mobile-side digital broadcasts are now predetermined for the time required for decoding on the reception side as well. Delay time.
[0019]
Therefore, the claims4As shown in Fig. 4, if the output timing on the side with the smaller delay amount is delayed by the delay amount difference so as to eliminate the difference in delay amount, the fixed digital broadcast and the mobile digital broadcast can be switched for viewing. However, skipping and returning of video / audio is eliminated and smooth switching is possible.
[0020]
(D) and claims5As shown in FIG. 5, when the digital broadcast currently being received is not a simulcast, the fact may be notified directly or indirectly via the notification means. In this way, for example, even when the program is automatically switched to another program, it is possible to reduce the user's uncomfortable feeling. It can also be switched manually.
[0021]
In the case of notification, it may be notified directly by text or voice as “not simulcast”, or either fixed broadcast alone, mobile alone broadcast or simulcast is displayed with an icon mark, for example, It may be such that it indirectly informs that “switching is impossible”. In the case of icon display, it may be displayed constantly or periodically.
[0022]
(E) In addition, when the fixed digital broadcast cannot be properly received while the fixed digital broadcast is being received, and it is not a simulcast, the fixed program cannot be switched to the mobile unit with the same program content. It will be switched to another program. In this case, the program may be switched to a predetermined program without considering the user in particular, but a device may be devised to maximize the user's wishes.
[0023]
For that purpose, for example, claims6As shown in FIG. 5, it is conceivable to notify a program by mobile digital broadcasting that can be received through the notification means. For example, the currently switchable program candidates can be presented to the user, and the program can be switched to the program selected by the user.
[0024]
Moreover, as another device, for example, a claim7As shown in FIG. 5, it is also conceivable to switch to a program that can be received at present based on a digital broadcast for mobile units based on the priority order of broadcast stations or program genres designated in advance as the switching destination.
(F) By the way, the control means outputs the fixed digital broadcast if the fixed digital broadcast can be properly received based on the reception status of the fixed digital broadcast, and the fixed digital broadcast cannot be properly received. If so, the digital broadcasting for mobiles is output to the output means. As described above, the following knowledge can be obtained regarding the reception status that is a condition for switching the output. In other words, in practice, the electric field level often fluctuates near the boundary where it can properly receive fixed broadcasts, and it is fixed → moved or moved → fixed by capturing the state at the moment of falling below or above the boundary. If it is switched, the reception quality is frequently switched, which gives a sense of discomfort to the user who is viewing the video and audio.
[0025]
Therefore, it is also preferable to provide hysteresis in order to avoid following the frequent level fluctuation across such a boundary. Specifically, the claims8As shown in Fig. 5, hysteresis is applied to the condition for the control means to determine that the fixed digital broadcast may be output by changing from a state where the fixed digital broadcast cannot be properly received to a state where the fixed digital broadcast can be appropriately received. It is given. For example, a value that is higher by a predetermined level than the boundary at which fixed broadcasts can be properly received is used as the determination condition. In this way, the reception quality does not frequently fluctuate at the boundary of the fixed broadcast unreceivable area, and the user does not feel uncomfortable.
[0026]
The determination condition for switching from fixed to moving may be the same as the determination condition for switching from moving to fixed.9As shown in FIG. 5, it is conceivable to set hysteresis according to the changing tendency of the reception electric field level of fixed digital broadcasting. That is, the control means determines whether the electric field level detected by the fixed digital broadcasting reception status detecting means is decreasing or increasing, and if the electric field level is decreasing, Hysteresis is set so that the conditions for determining that reception is possible can be made relatively strict. On the other hand, if the electric field level tends to increase, the hysteresis is set so that the determination conditions are relatively relaxed. Is set.
[0027]
The fact that the electric field level is declining means that there is a high possibility that it will not be able to receive fixed digital broadcasts in the near future. In the case where a value higher by a predetermined level is used as a determination condition, the “high value by a predetermined level” is relatively increased. On the other hand, since the electric field level tends to increase, it is highly likely that the state in which reception of fixed digital broadcasts can be properly received will continue stably in the near future. When a value higher by a predetermined level than the boundary at which the signal can be properly received is used as the determination condition, the “high value by the predetermined level” is relatively reduced. By doing so, it becomes possible to receive high-quality broadcast content as much as possible while suppressing as much as possible the reception quality from fluctuating frequently at the boundary of the fixed broadcast incapable area.
The configuration shown in
[0028]
Claims10As shown in Fig. 4, the fixed digital broadcast reception status detection means can detect at least one of the reception electric field level of fixed digital broadcast or the bit error rate when demodulating the received data by fixed digital broadcast as the reception status If so, the control means may determine by using one or more of the electric field level, the bit error rate, and the duration time during which these conditions are cleared as a determination condition for providing hysteresis. .
[0029]
In addition, when the above-mentioned hysteresis is given to the bit error rate (BER), it is desirable to apply the value before performing so-called outer code error correction. This is because after the outer code error correction (for example, one using a Reed-Solomon code is considered), the value of BER changes rapidly, so that the effect is very thin even if hysteresis is provided.
[0030]
(G) The fixed digital broadcast and the mobile digital broadcast in each mobile digital broadcast receiver described above are, for example, claims12As shown in Fig. 4, it can be considered that it is a digital television broadcast. In the case of television broadcasting, since video data is transmitted, a higher quality of video is required, so the present invention is considered to be more effective. Of course, television broadcasting is not indispensable, and sound data still requires high quality.
[0031]
Further, such fixed digital broadcasting and mobile digital broadcasting are claimed in the following claims.13As shown in Fig. 2, it is considered that the digital terrestrial broadcasting. As described above, this is an example of a current system that can be surely applied because the fixed-use broadcast and the mobile-use broadcast are scheduled to be performed in the digital terrestrial television broadcast started in 2003 in Japan. . Accordingly, the present invention can be similarly applied to, for example, various kinds of digital broadcasting such as satellite digital.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Embodiments to which the present invention is applied will be described below with reference to the drawings. Needless to say, the embodiments of the present invention are not limited to the following examples, and can take various forms as long as they belong to the technical scope of the present invention.

[0036]
As shown in FIG. 2 (a), when receiving a broadcast for mobiles, unlike the case of receiving a broadcast for fixed use, the video / audio quality is poor due to a resolution problem because it is transmitted at a low bit rate. However, since the signal can be received even if the signal level is low (that is, the received radio wave is weak), it can be said that it is suitable for reception by a receiving device mounted on a moving body such as a vehicle. However, even if this mobile digital

The demodulator is a demodulator / decoder for the TV broadcast signal. The demodulator demodulates the broadcast signal in synchronization with the broadcast signal, performs error detection and correction, and then decodes the transport stream (Transport Stream: TS ) To the decoder. On the other hand, the simulcast broadcast determination unit 13 determines whether the fixed digital broadcast and the mobile digital broadcast are the same program (simultaneous) broadcast. At the time of this determination, attention is paid to the TMCC information a1 and a2. Specifically, since there are reserve items that can be set uniquely on the transmitting station side in the information items of the TMCC signal (TMCC information a1, a2), the fixed digital broadcast and the mobile digital broadcast are included in the items. Information indicating whether or not simulcasting is being performed is set in advance. If it is assumed that the fixed

[0056]
Therefore, even if fixed digital broadcast reception is disabled and reception is possible, the reception quality frequently fluctuates by providing hysteresis rather than immediately switching from mobile broadcast to fixed broadcast. To reduce that. For example, a value that is higher by a predetermined level than the boundary at which fixed broadcasts can be properly received is used as the determination condition. In this way, the reception quality does not frequently fluctuate at the boundary of the fixed broadcast unreceivable area, and the user does not feel uncomfortable.
[0057]
Note that the determination condition for switching from fixed to moving may be the same as the determination condition for switching from moving to fixed, but the hysteresis is set according to the changing tendency of the electric field level of fixed digital broadcasting. It may be set. For example, it is determined whether the electric field level is decreasing or increasing, and when the electric field level is decreasing, the condition for determining that reception of fixed digital broadcasting can be appropriately performed is relative. On the other hand, when the electric field level tends to increase, the hysteresis is set so that the determination condition becomes relatively relaxed. The fact that the electric field level tends to decrease is likely to be in a state where reception of fixed digital broadcasting cannot be appropriately performed in the near future. That is, a value that is higher by a predetermined level than the electric field level that is the reception limit is used as a determination condition, but this “high value by a predetermined level” is relatively increased. On the other hand, since the electric field level tends to increase, there is a high possibility that the state in which the fixed digital broadcasting can be properly received is likely to continue stably in the near future. The “high value” is made relatively small. By doing so, it becomes possible to receive high-quality broadcast content as much as possible while suppressing as much as possible the reception quality from fluctuating frequently at the boundary of the fixed broadcast incapable area.
[0058]
Here, as a factor for providing the hysteresis, for example, the reception electric field level, the BER when demodulating the reception data, and the duration for clearing those conditions are conceivable. By combining a plurality of them, it becomes a more effective hysteresis setting. If the output switching unit 15 is provided with a data recording function, time hysteresis can be easily provided.
[0059]
In addition, when the BER is provided with the above-described hysteresis, it is desirable to apply the value after performing so-called inner code error correction and before performing outer code error correction. For example, a convolutional code may be used as the inner code error correction. However, in error correction using a convolutional code, the error correction degree differs depending on the coding rate. This is because if the hysteresis is to be set, the hysteresis width must be changed in accordance with the coding rate, making it difficult to set. For example, a Reed-Solomon (RS) code may be used as the outer code error correction, but the BER value changes rapidly after error correction using the RS code. This is because the effect is reduced.
[0060]
According to the mobile digital
(1) A relatively high-definition fixed-use digital broadcast is received if it can be received, and a digital broadcast for a mobile object that is being simulcast is received if it cannot be received. As a result, it is possible to receive high-quality broadcast content as much as possible with respect to digital broadcast reception on a mobile unit.
[0061]
(2) Also, in the case of simulcasting, output is performed while switching between fixed broadcast and mobile broadcast according to the reception status, so it is not affected by the surrounding conditions (fading, effects of buildings, etc.) The same program can be continuously received and provided.
(3) Since hysteresis is provided for the boundary line of the physical reception limit of fixed-use broadcasting, reception quality does not frequently fluctuate at the boundary surface of the unreceivable area, and the user feels uncomfortable. Disappear.
[0062]
(4) If the currently received digital broadcast is not a simulcast, automatic switching between the fixed broadcast and the mobile broadcast is not performed. Output to inform the user. Therefore, the user can receive the notification and manually switch the channel if necessary.
[0063]
In the above description, as shown in S12 of FIG. 3, the simulcast determination unit 13 that has determined that the broadcast is not simulcast holds the currently received program and automatically switches between the fixed broadcast and the mobile broadcast. The simulcast availability information b indicating that it is impossible to transmit is transmitted to the reception
[0064]
[Second Embodiment]
The basic configuration is the same as that in the case of the mobile digital
[0065]
In the case of the first embodiment, as shown in S12 of FIG. 3, the simulcast determination unit 13 that has determined that the broadcast is not simulcast holds the currently received program, and the fixed broadcast and the mobile broadcast The simulcast availability information b indicating that automatic switching is not possible is transmitted to the reception
[0066]
First, when it is determined that it is not a simulcast, the simulcast determination unit 13 notifies the user that it cannot be automatically switched according to the reception status of the fixed broadcast and the mobile broadcast. This is the same as in the first embodiment. If a fixed broadcast that is not a simulcast is currently being watched, when the fixed broadcast becomes unreceivable, the currently selectable program is presented to the user to select a program. Prompt. This is notified to the user from the display or the speaker of the
[0067]
If such notification is given, the user may leave it as it is unless there is a particular intention to switch to another program. Also, if there is an intention to switch to any of the presented viewable programs, the user designates the broadcast station that the user wants to receive by operating the channel selection
[0068]
Alternatively, prioritization for broadcasting stations and program genres that the user wants to receive may be input in advance. Specifically, for example, after the mobile digital
[0069]
Examples of the program genre include news, sports, dramas, movies, and the like. For example, the mobile digital
[0070]
This is effective from the viewpoint of providing digital television broadcasting to the user as much as possible. It is even better if the program can be switched to a program reflecting the user's intention as described above. And even if it is a case where it switches automatically, since it alert | reports that the broadcast for fixed use cannot be received continuously, the discomfort of the user by switching arbitrarily can be reduced.
[0071]
[Third embodiment]
FIG. 5 is a schematic configuration diagram of the mobile digital broadcast receiver 31 of the third embodiment. The mobile digital broadcast receiving apparatus 31 of this embodiment adds a delay
[0072]
The present embodiment is intended to cope with a case where there is a delay between the digital broadcast for fixed use and the digital broadcast for mobile use, which are simulcasts. .
First, the cause of the delay between the fixed digital broadcast, which is a simulcast, and the mobile digital will be described. When encoding is performed using the same program content at the time of transmission on the broadcast station side, a difference occurs in the time required for encoding depending on the encoding method. For example, considering the current terrestrial digital television broadcasting, digital broadcasting for mobiles has a larger delay amount. This is because MPEG2 is adopted for the fixed product and MPEG4 is adopted for the mobile device, and the latter has a higher compression rate. That is, due to the time required for the compression process, the digital broadcast for mobiles is delayed for a predetermined time on the transmission side. On the other hand, on the receiving side, the mobile device is delayed for a predetermined time due to the time required for decoding. Thus, even if encoding at the time of transmission is started at the same timing, digital broadcasting for mobiles is delayed at the time of input to the
[0073]
Of course, in consideration of such a delay on the broadcasting station side, it may be possible to deal with delaying digital broadcasting originally with a fixed transmission timing, but the mobile digital broadcast receiving apparatus 31 of the present embodiment is as described above. Then, the situation in which the digital broadcast for the mobile unit is delayed at the time of input to the
[0074]
Specifically, as shown in FIG. 5, a delay
[0075]
It is conceivable that the fixed time when the delay

Therefore, the
[0080]
As described above, since the timing for outputting the fixed digital broadcast is delayed by the delay amount from the timing for outputting the mobile digital broadcast, the fixed digital broadcast and the mobile digital broadcast are Even when switching and viewing, video / audio skipping and backtracking are eliminated, and smooth switching is possible.
[0081]
Note that the configuration for correcting the delay amount is not limited to that described above. For example, the output switching unit does not have a memory function or a delay amount correction function, and a circuit for delaying the video / audio signal f1 output from the fixed

In FIG. 5, the delay

[Fourth embodiment]
FIG. 7 is a schematic configuration diagram of the mobile digital broadcast receiver 41 of the fourth embodiment. The mobile digital broadcast receiving apparatus 41 of the present embodiment is similar to the configuration of the mobile digital
[0085]
Now, the simulcast determination unit 43, the reception status determination unit 44, and the
In the first embodiment, the video / audio signals f1 and f2 output from the fixed
[0086]
The simulcast determination unit 43 has a memory function and a delay amount calculation function in addition to the simulcast determination function. As for the memory function, it has an internal memory for storing video / audio signals f1, f2 output from the fixed
[0087]
Note that, for example, a value of about 90% is conceivable as the “predetermined degree to be satisfied if the content is the same broadcast content”. Further, as an element of the speech waveform used for the determination, a frequency corresponding to the pitch and an amplitude corresponding to the sound pressure can be considered. Even if neither is used, for example, only the frequency may be focused. Further, based on the result of performing speech recognition instead of the speech waveform, it may be determined that the broadcast is a simulcast if the recognition content matches about 90% or more. Since the mobile digital broadcast receiver 41 of this embodiment is assumed to be mounted on a vehicle, for example, if a navigation device having a voice recognition function is also mounted on the vehicle, the voice recognition function is used. It is good also as a structure.
[0088]
On the other hand, regarding the delay amount calculation function, the simulcast determination unit 43 has the same function as the delay
[0089]
Here, the comparison time of both audio signals will be described. In this embodiment, since it is intended to determine the identity of the contents of the fixed digital broadcast and the mobile digital broadcast based on the audio signal, for example, when there is another program that utters exactly the same language at the same time, Although it is not a simulcast, there is a possibility that it is erroneously determined as the same broadcast content. For example, in a news program, fixed phrases such as “Good morning” and “Good evening” are commonly used, so there is a possibility that the words alone cannot be distinguished. Therefore, it can be considered that a sufficient distinction can be made by comparing, for example, about 10 seconds so that other words are included. Of course, a shorter period may be used as long as erroneous determination is allowed to some extent. That is, if the comparison time is longer, the erroneous determination is reduced, but the processing load is increased. On the other hand, if the comparison time is shorter, the erroneous determination is increased, but the processing load is reduced. Therefore, an appropriate time may be set in consideration of the tolerance of both.
[0090]
Since the audio signal for such comparison time is necessary, and the delay time described above needs to be taken into consideration, the “predetermined time” for storing the audio signals f1 and f2 in the internal memory described above is It is sufficient if the time is equal to or slightly longer than the time obtained by adding the delay time to the comparison time.
[0091]
In addition, it supplements regarding the comparison of an audio | voice signal. For example, if it has a function that can also identify the unique properties of sound such as timbre, it can be determined that another person is speaking even if the same word is used. Furthermore, even if the same person speaks, it is difficult to think that the tone of the voice is exactly the same, and if such an acoustic feature amount is analyzed precisely, it can be identified in a short time. However, since such a precise analysis has a large processing load, the present embodiment copes with a comparison by a general frequency analysis. And since the extreme real-time property is not so required for the simulcast determination as in the present embodiment, there is substantially no problem even if the comparison time of about 10 seconds as described above is adopted.
[0092]
Further, for example, a comparison may be made using a video signal instead of an audio signal to determine whether or not it is a simulcast. In the case of video, it is generally considered that scene switching is fast, and comparison is possible even in a relatively short time than based on an audio signal. However, when comparing video images, it is not realistic to compare the entire display screen because of the processing load. For example, video data corresponding to a predetermined area near the center of the display screen is sampled, and the sampling areas are compared. It is possible to become. Therefore, the possibility of misjudgment is relatively high. Therefore, when considered comprehensively, comparison based on audio signals is preferable. Of course, if it is assumed that the content of the broadcast includes only the video signal and no audio signal, the configuration based on the video signal may be used. Here, the following description will be continued on the assumption that the comparison is performed using audio signals.
[0093]
The reception status determination unit 44 determines the reception status based on the reception status data c1 and c2 obtained from the
[0094]
That is, since the simulcast determination unit 43 compares the received digital broadcast content and the mobile digital broadcast content, if the received content is not properly received, an appropriate comparison cannot be made. Therefore, based on the reception status signal j from the reception status determination unit 44, it is determined whether or not it is a simulcast only when both the fixed broadcast and the mobile broadcast can be received. . In this way, it is made only when the comparison determination in the simulcast determination unit 43 is effective, reducing unnecessary processing and reducing the processing load.
[0095]
On the other hand, the

[0100]
With the mobile digital broadcast receiving apparatus 41 of this embodiment configured as described above, it is possible to cope with only the device on the receiving apparatus 41 side without depending on the broadcasting station side. That is, in the case of the first to third embodiments, it is assumed that information indicating whether or not the broadcast is a simulcast is included in the broadcast signal, and it is determined whether or not the simulcast is based on the information. However, this is highly dependent on the broadcasting station side. This is because it is not applicable to situations where only broadcast signals that do not contain such information are transmitted. On the other hand, in the case of the present embodiment, the audio signal in the video / audio signal f1 from the fixed

[0103]
(3) In the first to third embodiments, whether or not simultaneous broadcasting is set is a reserve item in the TMCC signal (which can be set independently on the transmitting station side). However, AC (Auxiliary Channel) signals that exist in terrestrial digital television (and digital audio) broadcasts can also be set freely on the transmitting station side. Therefore, information indicating whether or not simultaneous broadcasting is attached to the AC signal may be transmitted.
[0104]
(4) Although the above embodiments have been described as receiving devices for terrestrial digital television broadcasts, they can be similarly applied to, for example, satellite digital and other various digital broadcasts. And if it is determined whether it is simulcast based on the information in the broadcast signal from the broadcast station side like the said 1st-3rd Example, it will be considered as follows. That is, in the case of the above-mentioned terrestrial digital television broadcast, whether or not it is a simulcast is set as a reserve item in the TMCC signal (which can be set uniquely on the transmitting station side). Similarly, there is a reserved item in the TMCC signal. In the case of satellite digital, there are “undefined” items.
[0105]
(5) Although the mobile digital broadcast receiving apparatus in each of the above embodiments is assumed to be mounted on a mobile body such as a vehicle, the present invention can be similarly applied even when it is carried by a person, for example. That is, if the person carrying the receiving device walks or moves on a moving body such as an automobile or a train, the situation is the same as when the mobile device is mounted on the above-described moving body.
