Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a vehicle start control device, and more particularly, to a vehicle start control device and a start determination method for determining abnormality of a start device.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A vehicle that automatically stops the operation of the internal combustion engine when the vehicle is temporarily stopped, such as waiting for a signal while the vehicle is running, or an electric motor as a power source in addition to the internal combustion engine. Hybrid vehicles that automatically stop engine operation have been proposed. These vehicles are equipped with an accessory driving motor for driving accessories such as a water pump and an air conditioner compressor when the internal combustion engine is stopped (when the vehicle is running and when the vehicle is stopped). In general, a timing belt is mounted on the output shaft of the auxiliary drive motor, the output shaft of the internal combustion engine, and the input shaft of each auxiliary machine, and the output shaft of the auxiliary drive motor or the internal combustion engine The power output from the output shaft is transmitted to the input shaft of the auxiliary machine via the timing belt.
[0003]
In such a vehicle, particularly a hybrid vehicle, when the internal combustion engine is started, the internal combustion engine is started by rotating the output shaft of the internal combustion engine by the auxiliary drive motor via the timing belt. On the other hand, in a general vehicle having only an internal combustion engine, a ring gear coupled to the drive shaft of the internal combustion engine is gear-driven through a gear attached to the tip of the starter motor to rotate the output shaft. The internal combustion engine is started. The start of the internal combustion engine by the timing belt has an advantage that a high quietness can be obtained as compared with the start of the internal combustion engine by the gear drive, and the internal combustion engine is also inside the vehicle even during the so-called intermittent operation in which the internal combustion engine is repeatedly stopped and started. There is an advantage that the engine start-up sound does not enter.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the configuration in which the internal combustion engine is started by the timing belt, there is a problem that the internal combustion engine cannot be started if the belt runs out. Further, if the trial of starting the internal combustion engine is repeated by the auxiliary drive motor while the belt is out, the load may be applied to the battery.
[0005]
The present invention has been made to solve the above problem, and determines whether the power transmission band (for example, a timing belt) is disconnected, and changes the start-up process of the internal combustion engine when the timing belt is disconnected to The object is to reduce or eliminate the influence caused by cutting.
