[Industrial application fields]
The present invention provides a method for producing a stretchable member that can economically produce stretchable members having different stretch rates intermittently in a simplified process, and can flexibly and easily cope with a change in the specification of stretchable properties, and The present invention relates to a method for producing an absorbent article using the method for producing an elastic member.
[0002]
[Prior art and problems to be solved by the invention]
Conventionally, in order to manufacture an article having a stretchable part in a part of the article, an adhesive is intermittently applied to at least one of the elastic stretchable material and the other constituent materials of the article that are continuously conveyed in the production line. A stretchable sheet having a stretchable portion that develops elastic stretchability by cutting the elastic stretchable material at a non-joined portion between the two and a non-stretchable portion that does not develop elastic stretchability The stretchable sheet was disposed at a predetermined position of the article so that the stretchable portion is located at a portion where the stretchability of the article is required.
However, in this method, it is necessary to intermittently join the elastic stretchable material and other constituent materials, and it is necessary to cut the elastic stretchable material at an accurate position. Therefore, the manufacturing process is complicated, and it is difficult to reduce the manufacturing cost of the article. In addition, a portion of the elastic elastic material, which has been released from the extended state by cutting, will be present in the article in an unfixed state, so that the part can be seen through from the outside of the article and the appearance of the article will deteriorate. There is.
Furthermore, when changing the specifications of the expansion / contraction characteristics of the expansion / contraction part, complicated work such as adjustment of the application position of the adhesive and the cutting position of the elastic expansion / contraction material is required, and the specification change cannot be easily handled. There is also a problem.
[0003]
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a stretchable member that can economically manufacture stretchable members having different stretch rates intermittently in a simplified process, and can flexibly and easily cope with changes in the specifications of stretchability characteristics. It is an object of the present invention to provide a manufacturing method and a manufacturing method of an absorbent article that can economically manufacture an absorbent article having a stretchable part in a simplified process in which deterioration of appearance is prevented.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing an elastic member comprising a step of joining an elastic elastic material that is continuously conveyed to another constituent material that is continuously conveyed. By changing the peripheral speed of the contact speed adjusting roll to change the conveying speed of the elastic elastic material, by changing the elongation rate when the elastic elastic material is joined to the other constituent material, The object is achieved by providing a method for producing a stretchable member that intermittently varies the stretch rate of the stretchable member.
Further, the present invention comprises a liquid-permeable topsheet, a liquid impermeable backsheet and interposed between the two sheets a liquid retentive absorbent member is substantially vertically elongated, elastic members predetermined portion In the manufacturing method of the absorbent article arranged in the above, the above object is achieved by providing a manufacturing method of the absorbent article , comprising the step of manufacturing the elastic member by the manufacturing method of the elastic member. It is a thing.
[0005]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described based on a preferred embodiment thereof.
Drawing 1 is a schematic diagram showing typically one embodiment of a manufacturing method of an elastic member of the present invention.
In the present embodiment, a belt-like elastic sheet 1 having elastic stretchability is used as the elastic stretch material, and a belt-like non-elastic sheet 2 having no elastic stretchability is used as another constituent material of the stretchable member. Are joined to produce a stretchable sheet 3 as a stretchable member.
[0006]
In the production process of the stretchable sheet 3, the elastic sheet 1 is continuously fed from the raw roll 10 with a constant tension by a known feeding mechanism, and is joined to the non-elastic sheet 2 by a known conveying mechanism ( Hereinafter, it is conveyed to the merging portion A). Further, the non-elastic sheet 2 is continuously fed out from the raw fabric roll 20 at a constant speed, and is conveyed to the joining portion A.
In addition, the adhesive continuous application device 40 is disposed so as to be close to the non-elastic sheet 2 upstream of the merge part A in the conveyance path of the non-elastic sheet 2, and the non-elastic sheet before being supplied to the merge part A 2, the adhesive 4 is continuously applied.
Thereby, the elastic sheet 1 and the non-elastic sheet 2 are continuously bonded along the flow direction of both at the joining portion A, and both are integrated and conveyed further downstream.
[0007]
In this invention, a change is given to the conveyance speed of the elastic elastic material 1 conveyed continuously, and the elongation rate at the time of joining this elastic elastic material 1 to the other structural material 2 is changed.
Means for changing the conveying speed of the elastic elastic material is not particularly limited. In this embodiment, a vacuum roll 5 for speed adjustment that can increase and decrease the peripheral speed by a servo motor (not shown) is provided as an elastic sheet. The elastic sheet 1 is disposed between the feeding position B of the elastic sheet 1 and the merging portion A in one conveyance path so as to be in pressure contact with the elastic sheet 1, and the peripheral speed of the vacuum roll 5 is increased or decreased at a constant cycle. Thus, the conveyance speed of the elastic sheet 1 and the expansion rate of the elastic sheet 1 when the elastic sheet 1 is joined to the non-elastic sheet 2 are changed at a constant period.
[0008]
More specifically, the second vacuum roll 6 is disposed so as to contact the speed adjusting vacuum roll 5, the peripheral speed V 1 of the speed adjusting vacuum roll 5 and the peripheral speed of the second vacuum roll 6. V 2 is controlled so that the state of V 1 = V 2 and the state of V 1 <V 2 are alternately repeated every predetermined time, whereby the elongation rate of the elastic sheet 1 is the standard elongation rate. The state in which (the peripheral speed V 1 = the extension rate in the case of the peripheral speed V 2 ) and the state in which the extension rate of the elastic sheet 1 is greater than the standard extension rate are alternately repeated. In FIG. 1, reference numerals 51 and 61 denote suction portions arranged in the vacuum rolls 5 and 6, respectively, which adsorb and hold the elastic sheet 1 on the outer peripheral surfaces of the rolls 5 and 6. In the present embodiment, when the elastic sheet 1 is transferred from the vacuum roll 5 onto the vacuum roll 6, the elongation ratio of the elastic sheet 1 changes, and the elastic sheet 1 after being transferred onto the vacuum roll 6 is expanded. The non-elastic sheet 2 is joined while maintaining the rate. The second vacuum roll 6 determines the conveying speed after the elastic sheet 1 and the non-elastic sheet 2 are merged, and it is preferable that the rotational speed is constant.
[0009]
In this way, by changing the elongation ratio when the elastic sheet (elastic elastic material) 1 is joined to the non-elastic sheet (other constituent material) 2, the expansion ratio of the elastic sheet (elastic member) 3 is changed. Can be different intermittently.
[0010]
FIG. 2 is a plan view showing an example of the stretchable sheet 3 obtained by the manufacturing method of the present embodiment. The stretchable sheet 3 includes an inelastic sheet 1 in a low stretched state or a non-stretched state. 2 and a low stretch ratio region L in which the stretchable sheet 3 does not exhibit elastic shrinkage or only a relatively small elastic shrinkage, and the elastic sheet 1 is in a higher stretch state than the low stretch ratio region L. In FIG. 2, the stretchable sheet 3 is alternately formed with high stretch ratio regions H that are joined to the inelastic sheet 2 and the stretchable sheet 3 exhibits a relatively large elastic shrinkage. In FIG. 2, a large number of circles 4 indicated by dotted lines are adhesives continuously applied along the flow direction of the elastic sheet 1.
[0011]
The stretchable sheet 3 obtained in the present embodiment can be cut into a predetermined length to be used as a product as it is, or can be used as a part of an article. When it is a part of the article, the arrangement position and arrangement mode of the stretchable sheet 3 in the article are not particularly limited. In addition, the absorbent article of the present invention includes those in which the stretchable part is composed of only two regions having different stretch rates.
[0012]
According to the method of the present embodiment, in this way, the conveyance speed of the elastic sheet 1 is changed by the speed adjusting roll 5, and the elongation rate when the elastic sheet 1 is joined to the non-elastic sheet 2 is changed. Thus, the adhesive 4 for joining the elastic sheet 1 to the non-elastic sheet 2 is continuously applied to the non-elastic sheet 2 as shown in FIG. In addition, it is not necessary to cut the elastic sheet 1 after being joined to the non-elastic sheet 2 in order to obtain the low stretch ratio region L. Therefore, the manufacturing process of the elastic member can be greatly simplified, and the manufacturing cost of the elastic member and the article using the elastic member can be reduced.
[0013]
Moreover, since it is not necessary to cut | disconnect the elastic sheet 1 after joining to the inelastic sheet 2, the elastic sheet 1 can be joined to the inelastic sheet 2 by continuous heat sealing, or the elastic sheet 1 is attached. Heat-sealing or embossing can be continuously applied to the stretchable sheet 3 after being joined to the non-elastic sheet 2. Thereby, the joint strength between the elastic sheet 1 and the non-elastic sheet 2 can be improved, and the stretchability and surface properties of the stretchable sheet can be easily adjusted. In FIG. 1, reference numeral 7 denotes a sealing device that continuously seals the upper and lower surfaces of the stretchable sheet 3 with a pair of seal rolls 71 and 72.
[0014]
Moreover, since the elastic sheet 1 obtained by the manufacturing method of the present embodiment is bonded to the non-elastic sheet 2 as another constituent material over the entire area, the elastic sheet 1 as an elastic elastic material is bonded. Even when the elastic sheet 1 is seen through from the outside of the article, the appearance of the article is not impaired. Furthermore, when performing a specification change such as changing the expansion / contraction characteristics of the expansion / contraction section, the expansion / contraction characteristics of the expansion / contraction section can be changed simply by changing the change pattern of the conveyance speed of the elastic sheet 1. The burden involved can be greatly reduced.
[0015]
In FIG. 1, reference numeral 8 denotes a dancer roll for adjusting the tension of the elastic sheet 1, and the tension adjusting means includes a feeding position B of the elastic sheet 1, a joining portion A of the elastic sheet 1 and the non-elastic sheet 2. By providing between the elastic sheets, it is possible to prevent the elastic sheet from being fed out to the vacuum roll 5 for speed adjustment.
[0016]
The stretchable member obtained by the method for producing a stretchable member of the present invention is an absorbent article such as a sanitary napkin, disposable diaper, incontinence pad, etc., particularly as a stretchable part, such as side gathers, leg gathers, waist gathers, etc. And is particularly suitable for manufacturing absorbent articles having gathers for improving fit.
[0017]
As the elastic stretchable material used in the present invention, various known elastic members can be used without particular limitation. Examples of the elastic stretchable material include natural rubber, synthetic rubber, spandex, etc. Examples of the form of the stretchable material include a belt shape, a film shape, and a thread shape.
[0018]
The other constituent material used in the present invention is not particularly limited as long as it can join an elastic stretch material. For example, in the case of manufacturing an absorbent article, for forming a top sheet, a back sheet, and a three-dimensional gather. A sheet | seat, an absorber, etc. can be mentioned. Examples of the forming material of the other constituent material include various materials that are usually used for the constituent material. For example, when the other constituent material that joins the elastic stretch material is a surface sheet, a nonwoven fabric, a porous A film, a woven fabric, etc. can be mentioned, A synthetic resin film etc. can be mentioned when the other constituent material which joins an elastic elastic material is a back surface sheet.
[0019]
FIG. 3 is a perspective view showing a sanitary napkin (one embodiment of the absorbent article of the present invention) manufactured using the stretchable sheet obtained by the method of the above-described embodiment. 1B includes a liquid-permeable top sheet 11, a liquid-impermeable back sheet (not shown), and a liquid-retaining absorbent (not shown) interposed between the two sheets. The stretchable sheet (not shown) is disposed along the longitudinal direction on the back side or the front side of the top sheet 11 at both sides in the longitudinal direction. And by a contraction of these elastic sheets, a pair of side solid gathers (expandable portions) 12 and 12 that project to the skin contact surface side and function as leak-proof walls are formed on both sides in the longitudinal direction of the napkin. .
[0020]
In the sanitary napkin 1A, the low stretch ratio region L of the stretchable sheet is disposed near both ends in the longitudinal direction, and the high stretch ratio region H of the stretchable sheet is disposed in the center portion in the longitudinal direction. In the sanitary napkin 1B, the high stretch ratio region H of the stretchable sheet is disposed near both ends in the longitudinal direction, and the low stretch ratio region L of the stretchable sheet is disposed in the center portion in the longitudinal direction.
