BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to equipment and a method for vaporizing a low-temperature liquefied gas such as liquefied natural gas or liquefied nitrogen gas and supplying them to a use point.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Natural gas is usually transported in the form of liquefied gas and stored in a storage tank. The liquefied natural gas is vaporized by an evaporator and then supplied to a use point. As an evaporator in such a system, an air heating type composed of a finned tube is generally used from the viewpoint of economy.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, when low-temperature liquefied natural gas flows in the tube of the air-heated evaporator, moisture in the atmosphere freezes on the fins, and grows into ice blocks especially in cold regions or in winter. When a large ice block adheres to the fin, the vaporization efficiency is lowered, and there arises a problem that a desired amount of natural gas cannot be sent to the use point at 0 ° C. or higher.
[0004]
For this reason, conventionally, when an ice block of a certain size or more adheres to the fins, the hot water is applied to the ice block to melt it. However, unraveling and removing the entire ice mass requires a large amount of hot water and takes considerable time.
[0005]
On the other hand, there is also a system using a warm water heating type evaporator using warm water as a heat source for vaporization. This system does not cause the problem of icing, but the cost performance is poor because hot water is used, and it is not suitable for long-term operation.
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a vaporization facility and method that can easily solve the problem of icing while using an economically heated air-heated evaporator. There is to do.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a storage tank for storing a low-temperature liquefied gas, an evaporator for passing the low-temperature liquefied gas through the pipe and vaporizing it by heat exchange with the atmosphere, and the surface of the pipe of the evaporator is zero. It is characterized by vaporization equipment provided with a temperature raising means for raising the temperature to a temperature exceeding ° C.
[0007]
In such a configuration, during normal operation, the low-temperature liquefied gas from the storage tank can be vaporized by the air heating evaporator. In addition, when ice is attached to the evaporator and the vaporization ability is lowered, the surface of the evaporator tube is heated by the temperature raising means, and the attached ice can be melted from the inside. Ice melted from the inside can be easily removed.
[0008]
If the ice sticks to the evaporator tube and grows into a large ice block, it is possible to manually operate the temperature raising means. However, the control means automatically detects the vaporization capacity of the evaporator and raises the temperature. It is preferable to automatically activate the temperature means.
[0009]
The temperature raising means includes a heater that heats the low-temperature liquefied gas and vaporizes it into a gas having a temperature exceeding 0 ° C., and a low-temperature liquefied gas that is selectively supplied from the storage tank to either the evaporator or the heater. When the low-temperature liquefied gas is supplied to the heater by the first piping system and the first piping system, the gas vaporized by the heater is introduced into the evaporator pipe to raise the temperature of the pipe surface. A thing provided with a piping system can be considered.
[0010]
The temperature raising means may be means for electrically heating the evaporator tube.
[0011]
As the low-temperature liquefied gas, liquefied gases such as natural gas, oxygen, nitrogen, argon, helium, hydrogen, carbon dioxide, methane, propane, and ethylene can be considered.

By the way, in the conventional air heating type evaporator, the cross-sectional area (pipe area) of the inlet is made smaller than that of the outlet, and the pipe area of the pipe connected to the inlet is also connected to the outlet. In general, it was made smaller than the pipes. This is because the fluid introduced into the evaporator is in the liquid phase and the fluid to be derived is in the gas phase, so that the introduction flow rate and the discharge flow rate are greatly different. On the other hand, in the present embodiment, gas phase natural gas is introduced into the inlet of the evaporator 20 from the

【The invention's effect】
As described above, the present invention is characterized in that when ice adheres to the tube of the air-heated evaporator and grows, the surface of the tube is heated to melt the ice from the inside. By adopting such means, it is possible to remove the ice from the evaporator in a short time. Therefore, the period during which the vaporization capability of the air heating evaporator is reduced is shortened. In addition, since the ice removal operation can be completed in a short time, a small amount of energy is required to heat the low-temperature liquefied gas.
[0035]
As described above, the present invention can improve the operating rate of the air-heated evaporator excellent in economic efficiency, while greatly reducing the energy and time required for removing the ice, so that the low-temperature liquefied gas can be economically used. It becomes possible to vaporize.
