Description
【0001】

[Industrial application fields]
The present invention relates to a damping force variable damper that is suitable for controlling a lateral vibration that occurs in a vehicle body of a railway vehicle, a lateral vibration of a building when an earthquake occurs, and the like.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In general, for automobiles, etc., the behavior of the vehicle body is improved in order to further improve the ride comfort because it is not possible to obtain sufficient ride comfort simply by damping and absorbing the vertical vibration generated in the vehicle body. A so-called active control damping force variable damper that detects and positively corrects the position has been used.
[0003]
However, such a variable damping force damper for active control requires a pump and a special control valve as a power source, and the controller itself for controlling them is complicated, so it is not only expensive but also expensive. However, if the vehicle malfunctions due to the vehicle, the ride comfort will be adversely affected.
[0004]
Therefore, in recent years, a so-called semi-active control damping force variable damper that performs damping force control in response to the amplitude and frequency of vehicle body vibration without using a power source has been attracting attention.
[0005]
This semi-active control damping force variable damper is simple in both hardware and software, and has the advantage of being easy to use in operation and maintenance.
[0006]
Therefore, the patent applicant must first apply for a patent in 1994.No. 242225And 1994 patent application No. 333087 alone, 1994 patent applicationNo. 261173In addition, as a patent application (filed on March 3, 1995) with a serial number = H6-P-106, a damping force variable damper with semi-active control was proposed in cooperation with the Railway Technical Research Institute.
[0007]
That is, in these damping force variable dampers, a stroke sensing cylinder with a one-way flow is used as the damper body, and a throttle and an open / close valve or a valve are provided in the circuit of the working fluid pushed out from the stroke sensing cylinder toward the reservoir. A proportional valve is installed.
[0008]
These open / close valves or proportional valves are used to generate vibration amplitude and frequency andVibration generating side bodyWhenVibration control bodyIn accordance with the vibration direction, the switching control is performed, and the flow resistance of the working fluid flowing in the circuit is changed in cooperation with the throttle so that the damping force can be appropriately controlled while the damping force is variably controlled.
[0009]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, for example, the dust in the working fluid clogs the throttle for generating damping force, or the valves are switched due to abnormality in the control system or failure of each valve for controlling damping force. When operation becomes impossible, it cannot be detected, and it will be noticed only at the time of regular inspection.
[0010]
Therefore, during the period of regular inspections from the occurrence of these abnormal situationsVibration generating side bodyIf a large lateral vibration occurs, the desired vibration control action cannot be performed.Vibration control bodyThere is a risk that there will be a danger that railroad vehicles may not be derailed or overturned, and buildings should not be tilted or collapsed.
[0011]
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a damping force variable damper that can self-diagnose the occurrence of an abnormal situation as described above and immediately notify the outside without waiting for periodic inspection.
[0012]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In the present invention, the above-described object is to use a one-way flow stroke sensing cylinder as the damper body, and to determine the resistance value of the composite throttle interposed in the damping force control circuit from the stroke sensing cylinder toward the reservoir.Vibration control bodyWhile controlling with a computer based on the speed signal in both directions and the expansion / contraction speed signal and displacement signal of the stroke sensing cylinder,Unload valve that sets damping force control circuit to unload stateTogether withVibration generating side bodyWhenVibration control bodyIn a damping force variable damper that suppresses relative vibration generated between them, a pressure sensor is provided on the upstream side of the throttle in the damping force control circuit, and the working fluid pressure signal that is an actual measurement value of the working fluid pressure in the part is provided. And the actual value of the working fluid pressure based on this working fluid pressure signal is calculated by the computer based on the combined throttle resistance value of the damping force control circuit controlled by the computer and the expansion / contraction speed signal of the stroke sensing cylinder. When the difference between the actually measured value of the working fluid pressure and the calculated value exceeds a predetermined value, the computer determines that there is an abnormality and transmits an emergency signal.
[0013]
[Operation]
That is, by adopting the above-described configuration, the stroke sensing cylinder constituting the damper main body is a one-way flow damper that circulates the working fluid from the damping force control circuit through the reservoir in any of the expansion and compression operations. Acts as
[0014]
AndVibration control bodyBased on the speed signal in both directions and the expansion / contraction speed signal and displacement signal of the stroke sensing cylinder, the computer appropriately controls the combined throttle resistance value and unload valve of the damping force control circuit,Vibration generating side bodyWhenVibration control bodyEffectively controls the relative vibration generated between them.
[0015]
On the other hand, during the above control, the pressure sensor provided on the upstream side of the throttle of the damping force control circuit detects the working fluid pressure flowing through the damping force control circuit as a working fluid pressure signal, and this is measured. Enter the value into the computer.
[0016]
In the computer, based on the actual measured value of the working fluid pressure from the pressure sensor, this is compared with the calculated value of the working fluid pressure calculated for controlling the resistance value of the composite throttle. When the difference exceeds a predetermined value, it is judged as abnormal, and an emergency signal is transmitted from the computer to notify the outside.
