Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a thin wire saw device suitable for performing grooving processing for simultaneously inserting a plurality of narrow grooves in precision electronic component materials or the like, or cutting processing for cutting with a small cutting allowance, and particularly wire saw cutting. The present invention relates to a wire saw apparatus in which two cutting towers of a machine are arranged on the left and right sides of a work support portion, and a work can be cut to a predetermined thickness by making a difference in the coordinate values of both cutting towers.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, a wire saw device using a fine wire is known as one of devices for cutting a wafer from an ingot of a hard and brittle material such as silicon.
[0003]
The principle of this wire saw device is outlined with reference to FIG. 9.

[0009]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the conventional wire saw apparatus, as described above, there is one cutting mechanism (hereinafter referred to as “cutting tower”) that presses a thin wire saw against a workpiece. Therefore, the workpiece cutting interval [cutting pitch (hereinafter referred to as “pitch”) is determined by the interval between a plurality of grooves (wire saw guide grooves) on the pitch roller constituting the cutting tower, that is, the groove pitch. Become.
[0010]
By the way, with respect to the above-mentioned plurality of grooves formed on the pitch roller, the pitch is set for the reasons of the groove processing technique or for the reason that the adjacent wire saws are prevented from interfering with each other during the cutting operation by the wire saw. There is a problem that it cannot be made too small.
[0011]
The present invention is intended to solve such a problem, and arranges two cutting towers on the left and right sides of the workpiece and makes a difference between the coordinate values of the left and right cutting towers, that is, the left cutting tower. By adding a difference (coordinate value difference) corresponding to, for example, 1/2 of the pitch of the guide groove formed in each pitch roller between the position of the workpiece and the position of the right cutting tower relative to the workpiece. The cutting position by the cutting tower and the cutting position by the right cutting tower are shifted by a dimension corresponding to 1/2 of the pitch of the guide groove formed on the pitch roller so that the same pitch as the conventional one can be obtained. It is characterized in that cutting can be performed with a thickness corresponding to ½ of the pitch of the guide groove of the pitch roller while using the pitch roller. The above “1/2 of the pitch” is an example for convenience of explanation, and “the difference between the coordinate values of the left and right cutting towers” in the present invention is limited to “1/2 of the pitch”. It is not a thing.
[0012]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention relates to a work fixing base in which a work is fixed to an outer peripheral surface and supported by a machine frame, and an upper part arranged in parallel to press a plurality of rows of wire saws against the work to cut the work on the work fixing base. And a plurality of supply bobbins for supplying the wire saw to each of the supply-side pitch rollers of the cutting tower. And a plurality of winding bobbins for individually collecting the wire saws from the pitch rollers on each winding side of the cutting tower, each of the cutting towers being symmetrical one on each of the left and right sides of the work fixing base while being disposed in a wire saw device that is configured to give (difference of coordinates) the difference in the cutting pitch of the left and right cutting tower, above the feed side Pitchiro Pitch rollers La and lower take-up side, characterized in that provided in plurality.
[0014]
Further, in the wire saw apparatus, a plurality of supply bobbins for supplying the wire saw and a plurality of winding bobbins for individually collecting the wire saw from the pitch rollers on each winding side of the cutting tower are arranged on two axes respectively. It is characterized by being provided.
[0015]
Further, the cutting pitch feed control and the cut feed control are performed by numerical control by a servo motor.
[0016]
Further, in the wire saw device, the left and right cutting towers are controlled to have a predetermined thickness by giving a difference in coordinate values by controlling the cutting pitch feed.
[0017]
Further, in the above wire saw device, a length measuring roller is provided between each supply side pitch roller and each supply bobbin, and the winding amount of the winding bobbin is determined based on the measurement value of each length measuring roller. Is controlled.
[0018]
Furthermore, in the wire saw device, the work fixing base is a rotary type work fixing base supported rotatably with respect to the machine frame.
[0019]
In the wire saw device, the work fixing base is a flat table type work fixing base fixed to the machine frame.
[0020]
In the present invention, for example, a difference (coordinate value of the coordinate value) between the position of the left cutting tower relative to the workpiece and the position of the right cutting tower relative to the workpiece is, for example, 1/2 of the pitch of the guide groove formed in each pitch roller. The difference between the cutting position of the workpiece by the cutting tower on the left side and the cutting position of the workpiece by the cutting tower on the right side is shifted by a dimension corresponding to ½ of the pitch of the guide groove formed on each pitch roller. Cutting can be performed. Thus, the degree of freedom in setting the cutting pitch can be increased by making a difference in the coordinate values of the forward and backward feeds of the left and right cutting towers.
[0021]
In the present invention, a plurality of upper supply-side pitch rollers and a lower winding-side pitch roller pair are provided, a plurality of supply bobbins for supplying the wire saw, and a pitch roller on each winding side of the cutting tower. The plurality of winding bobbins for individually collecting the wire saws are provided on each of the three shafts, so that cutting at a plurality of locations can be performed by one cutting.
[0022]
In addition, each cutting tower performs forward and backward feed (pitch feed) and left and right feed (cut feed) by numerical control by a servo motor, and this numerical control (coordinate value control) can be input in units of 1 μm, for example. Extremely accurate control is possible.
[0023]
Further, the numerical control of the winding amount is performed by a length measurement value by a length measuring roller. Therefore, the difference between the length measurement value on the winding side and the length measurement value on the supply side length measuring roller is the consumption winding difference of the wire saw. And this numerical value (winding speed per time) can be arbitrarily set according to processing conditions and processing conditions.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, the following effects can be obtained.
(1) Between the position of the left cutting tower relative to the workpiece and the position of the right cutting tower relative to the workpiece, for example, a difference corresponding to 1/2 of the pitch of the guide groove formed on each pitch roller (difference in coordinate values) ), The cutting position of the workpiece by the left cutting tower and the cutting position of the workpiece by the right cutting tower are shifted by a dimension corresponding to ½ of the pitch of the guide groove formed in each pitch roller. Processing can be performed. Thus, the degree of freedom in setting the cutting pitch can be increased by making a difference in the coordinate values of the forward and backward feeds of the left and right cutting towers.
(2) Further, in the present invention, a plurality of upper supply-side pitch rollers and a lower winding-side pitch roller pair are provided, a plurality of supply bobbins for supplying the wire saw, and each winding side of the cutting tower A plurality of winding bobbins for individually collecting the wire saws from the pitch rollers are provided on each of the three shafts, so that a plurality of cutting processes can be performed at the same time by one cutting.
(3) Each cutting tower performs forward / backward feed (pitch feed) and left / right feed (cut feed) by numerical control using a servo motor. Moreover, since this numerical control can be input in units of 1 μm, for example, it is extremely accurate. Control becomes possible.
(4) The numerical control of the winding amount is performed by the length measurement value by the length measurement roller. Therefore, the difference between the length measurement value on the winding side and the length measurement value on the supply side length measurement roller is the consumption winding difference of the wire. This numerical value can be arbitrarily set according to the cutting conditions.
(5) The cutting towers are arranged on the left and right sides of the work fixing base, and both cutting towers can be fed back and forth (pitch feed), so that the center axis of the work fixing base can be supported at both ends. It is possible to improve the support rigidity of the fixed base.
(6) Since the cutting tower and the cutting tower can move in the cutting direction, a flat table in which the work fixing base does not rotate can be adopted. Processing becomes possible.
