Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an electronic control device mounted on a vehicle or the like, and particularly relates to a housing structure of the electronic control device.
[0002]
[Prior art]
An electronic control device such as an engine ECU (electronic control unit) is mounted on a vehicle that performs various types of electronic control. In this electronic control device, a circuit board is housed in a housing space formed by a case and a cover. The electronic control device is attached to the vehicle using a bracket. In this case, the ear portion is formed integrally with the cover, and the ear portion itself is used as a bracket, or another bracket member is retrofitted to the ear portion after the assembly of the electronic control device is completed.
[0003]
FIG. 4 is an exploded perspective view for explaining a conventional structure of an electronic control device (ECU). As shown in FIG. 4, the ECU 50 includes a case 51, a circuit board 52, and a cover 53, and these members are assembled by tightening screws 54. The cover 53 is provided with ear portions 55 that protrude outward from the side surface of the case, and the ear portions 55 are provided with screw holes 56 at two locations, for example. The ECU 50 is attached to the vehicle via the ear portion 55. In this case, whether the ear part 55 itself is used as a bracket or another bracket member may be determined depending on factors such as a mounting location on the vehicle side.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the ECU 50 in FIG. 4 only extends a part of the cover 53 into a flat plate shape and uses the ear portion 55 as a part thereof. For this reason, when the ECU 50 is attached to a portion where the vibration of the vehicle is large, the ear portion 55 may be damaged due to insufficient strength.
[0005]
The present invention has been made paying attention to the above problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide an electronic control device capable of improving the strength of the ear provided on the cover.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to the first aspect of the present invention, the cover is integrally formed with the bottom plate portion of the cover so that the ear portion protrudes from the side surface of the case when the case is assembled. Ribs were formed in the vertical direction. Thus, since the rib was formed in the bottom plate part located inside the case in the cover, the strength is improved in the bottom plate part of the cover. Therefore, when the electronic control device is mounted on a vehicle or the like having a large vibration, sufficient strength can be given for vibration resistance and bending resistance.
In addition , ribs are provided on both the left and right edges of the bottom plate part, and the ear part is extended in a form protruding from this rib , and the rib is formed in a convex shape protruding to the side where the case is assembled by press molding Is done. In this case, even if dust or the like enters the device from the outside of the case through the ear portion, it is stopped immediately before the circuit board by the convex rib. Therefore, the effect of preventing problems such as a short circuit on the circuit board is also obtained.
[0010]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing an overall configuration of the ECU 10, and FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view showing the main configuration of the ECU 10 in an exploded manner.
[0011]
1 and 2, the ECU 10 includes a case 11 having an open bottom, a circuit board 13 in which a connector portion 12 is integrated, and a substantially flat cover 14 for closing the opening of the case 11. These members are assembled by tightening the screws 15. For example, the case 11 and the cover 14 are formed by pressing such as an iron plate or an aluminum plate. In the present embodiment, for the sake of convenience, the front / rear and up / down directions of the ECU 10 are defined based on the states of FIGS. 1 and 2. .
[0012]
Next, the configuration of the case 11 and the cover 14 will be described in detail. First, in the case 11, the connector extraction portion 21a is provided on one of the side surfaces, and the side wall portions 21b, 21c, and 21d are provided on the other three sides. Among the side wall portions 21b to 21d, the left and right side wall portions 21b and 21c are provided in a tapered shape, and the back side wall portion 21d is provided in an upright shape. Below the side wall portions 21b to 21d, a flat pedestal portion 22 is provided so as to surround the case opening, and the peripheral portion of the circuit board 13 is placed on the lower surface of the pedestal portion 22. A guide portion 23 slightly larger than the outer dimension of the circuit board 13 is provided on the outer periphery of the pedestal portion 22. A relatively short columnar nut member 24 is embedded in the upper surface of the pedestal portion 22 at the four corners of the case 11.
[0013]
On the other hand, the cover 14 has substantially the same external dimensions as the circuit board 13, and includes a bottom plate portion 31 and a pedestal portion 32 provided on the outer periphery of the bottom plate portion 31. In this case, the peripheral portion of the circuit board 13 is placed on the pedestal portion 32. That is, when the ECU 10 is assembled, the peripheral portion of the circuit board 13 is sandwiched and fixed between the base portion 22 of the case 11 and the base portion 32 of the cover 14.
[0014]
The cover 14 is integrally formed with a pair of ears 33 protruding outward from the case 11, and the ears 33 are provided with attachment holes 34 for attaching a bracket member (not shown). . In this case, the ECU 10 is mounted on the vehicle via a bracket member attached to the ear portion 33. By the way, by providing the ear part 33 in the cover 14 in advance and attaching another bracket member, the standard of the ear part 33 is unified irrespective of the bracket member not interfering with the carriage member and different bracket members for each vehicle type. There are merits such as being able to do it. It is also possible to mount the ECU 10 directly on the vehicle through the mounting hole 34 using the ear portion 33 itself as a bracket member.
[0015]
Further, the ear portion 33 has a bent portion 35 formed by bending the tip portion thereof at a substantially right angle. However, in the ECU 10 of the present embodiment, whether or not the bent portion 35 is provided is not a gist, and the bent portion 35 may not be provided.
[0016]
Further, in the cover 14, the ear portion 33 is provided with a first rib 36 at the center thereof, and the bottom plate portion 31 is provided with second ribs 37 on both left and right edges. Here, the first rib 36 is provided in substantially the same direction as the direction in which the ear portion 33 extends, and the second rib 37 is provided so as to extend along the side wall portions 21 b and 21 c of the case 11. Each of the first and second ribs 36 and 37 has a cross-sectional shape such as an upwardly convex semicircular shape or a triangular shape, and each rib is orthogonal to the center of the second rib 37.
[0017]
In this case, since the first rib 36 is provided so as to extend from the outside to the inside of the case 11, the case 11 is provided with a recess 25 matching the rib shape at a portion that contacts the first rib 36. Has been. Thereby, when the cover 14 is assembled to the case 11, if the concave portion 25 and the first rib 36 are combined, the alignment of both the members can be performed easily and accurately. Therefore, assembly workability is improved.
[0018]
Further, in the state where the cover 14 is assembled to the case 11, the second rib 37 is positioned inside the case 11 as shown in FIG. 3. In this case, even if dust or the like enters the ECU from the outside of the case through the ear portion 33, it is stopped by the second rib 37 just before the circuit board 13. In particular, problems such as a short circuit on the circuit board 13 can be prevented if conductive dust can be eliminated.
[0019]
According to the present embodiment described in detail above, the first rib 36 is formed on the ear portion 33 of the cover 14 and the second rib 37 is formed on the bottom plate portion 31, so that the cover 14 including the ear portion 33 is formed. Overall strength is improved. Therefore, when it is mounted on a vehicle having a large vibration, it is possible to provide sufficient strength for vibration resistance and bending resistance.
[0020]
In this case, since the strength of the ear portion 33 is ensured by the first and second ribs 36 and 37, the effect of reducing the weight can be obtained unlike the case where the ear portion 33 is thickened. Furthermore, since the first and second ribs 36 and 37 can be formed at the same time when the cover 14 is press-molded, there is an advantage that it can be realized at low cost.
[0021]
In addition to the above, the present invention can be embodied in the following forms.
In the above embodiment, the first rib 36 is provided at the center of the ear portion of the cover 14, but two or more may be provided. In addition, the first rib 36 has an upwardly convex shape, but may have a downwardly convex shape. When the first rib 36 has a downwardly convex shape, the case 11 may be provided with a convex portion according to the rib shape.
