Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a radiation image reading apparatus that reads the radiation image information recorded on the photostimulable phosphor panel.
[0002]
[Prior art]
When a photostimulable phosphor panel having a photostimulable phosphor layer (hereinafter also simply referred to as a panel) is irradiated with radiation such as X-rays or ultraviolet rays, a part of the energy of this radiation is accumulated in the phosphor. Thereafter, when the phosphor is irradiated with excitation light, the phosphor emits light according to the accumulated energy. Radiation image information recorded on the panel can be read by photoelectrically converting the stimulated emission light that has been stimulated by photoelectric conversion by a photoelectric conversion means that is a photodetector. A radiation image reading apparatus utilizes this principle. The radiation image reading apparatus is used in the medical field, reads radiation image information of a human body, etc., and outputs the read image as a visible image on a photographic material or CRT.
[0003]
In such a radiographic image reading apparatus, when the vibration is received, the read radiographic image information receives noise and the like, and unevenness does not occur and the image is not clear, which is a serious problem particularly in medical diagnosis. Possible causes of vibration include those transmitted from outside the radiation image reading apparatus and those transmitted from a movable part in the radiation image reading apparatus. In the conventional radiographic image reading apparatus, various countermeasures are taken against vibrations caused by these causes.
[0004]

That is, the vibration generated when the patient as the subject presses the chest or the like as the affected part against the breastplate of the radiographic image reading apparatus or moves away from the pressed breastplate is transmitted to the panel via the breastplate. Is. This transmitted vibration becomes a big problem (occurrence of unevenness) particularly when reading radiation image information recorded on the panel.
[0007]
Accordingly, a second object of the present invention is to provide a radiographic image reading apparatus that can obtain a clear image without adversely affecting the image read by vibration transmitted through the breastplate.
[0008]
The third object of the present invention is to make it difficult for vibration to be transmitted from the breastplate to the panel, and to suppress the occurrence of unevenness due to this vibration.
