BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a plasma cutting method in which a plasma arc is jetted from the nozzle tip to cut, and provides a cutting method that reduces self-combustion and improves cutting quality by suppressing heat input.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Currently, in plasma cutting, constant current control is performed, so that the current value of the plasma arc is kept constant. On the other hand, considering the mechanical accuracy of the cutting device, the trajectory accuracy improves when the cutting speed is lowered. Therefore, in recent NC cutting machines, it is common to perform deceleration when the cutting path is bent. is there.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, since the arc current is a constant output as described above, excessive heat input occurs at the start portion, end portion, and corner portion where the cutting speed does not increase, resulting in thermal distortion, hardening, and a wide range of structural changes. Easy to wake up. For the same reason, when it is desired to carry out fine processing such as acute angle cutting and small circle cutting, the processing part is self-burning, so that it has a drawback that processing is difficult.
[0004]
In addition, when the cut parts are close to each other as in the case of cutting a large number of small products from a large cutting material, the heat of the cutting performed first remains, and the heat input becomes excessive during the subsequent cutting. There was a case.
[0005]
In order to solve the inconveniences as described above, a method is conceivable in which the arc current is lowered and the heat input amount is reduced in the finely processed portion. However, in this case, there is a problem that a large amount of slag cannot be administered without sufficient heat input necessary for melting the material to be cut, and that cutting itself cannot be performed.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, a plasma cutting method according to the present invention is a plasma cutting method in which the amount of heat input to a cutting material is reduced by directly controlling the arc current with the continuous output current of the arc current in normal cutting as an upper limit. The pulse control starts when the cutting speed falls below a preset reference speed, and ends when the cutting speed returns to the reference speed.
[0007]
Further, in the plasma cutting method in which the amount of heat input to the cutting material is reduced by directly pulse-controlling the arc current with the continuous output current of the arc current in normal cutting as an upper limit, the pulse control starts or ends the pulse control. The time to be cut is advanced or delayed by a preset time from the time when the cutting speed is lower than the reference speed.
[0008]
Further, the pulse control of the arc current is characterized in that the pulse waveform is changed depending on the cutting speed.
[0009]
In addition, another configuration of the plasma cutting method according to the present invention is a plasma cutting method in which the amount of heat input to the cutting material is reduced by directly controlling the arc current with the continuous output current of the arc current in normal cutting as an upper limit. The pulse control is started or ended at a preset cutting position.
[0010]
The arc current pulse control is characterized in that the pulse waveform is changed in accordance with a preset cutting position.
[0011]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
An embodiment of the plasma cutting method according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 shows an example of (a) the cutting speed, (b) the average current value of the arc current, and (c) the pulse waveform of the arc current. FIG. 2 is a diagram for explaining the names of the pulse waveforms of the arc current.
[0012]
In the case of performing normal cutting such as a straight line or a gentle curve, the cutting speed is also determined if the material and thickness of the cutting material and the continuous output current of the plasma cutting machine are determined. However, when cutting a further bent shape, the plasma cutting apparatus may reduce the cutting speed A as schematically shown in FIG. 1 (a) in order to improve the trajectory accuracy. At this time, if the cutting is performed with the continuous output current as in the case of performing the normal cutting, the heat input becomes excessive, so it is necessary to reduce the amount of heat input.
[0013]
However, if the arc current value is simply reduced, the heat input necessary and sufficient for melting the material to be cut cannot be administered, and a large amount of slag is adhered due to incomplete cutting, or the current value is lowered too much, so that the cutting itself It becomes impossible to do. Therefore, by performing pulse control of the arc current, the average current value can be lowered and the heat input can be suppressed while maintaining the maximum output current.
[0014]
The name of the pulse current will be described with reference to FIG. FIG. 2 shows the cutting current value on the vertical axis and the time on the horizontal axis. The continuous output current in normal cutting is the maximum output current 1, and the minimum current value that can maintain the plasma arc is the

[0018]
Further, depending on the thermal conductivity of the cutting material, it may be too early or too late to start the pulse control at time T1 when the cutting speed A is slower than the
[0019]
Therefore, in the case of a cutting material having high thermal conductivity, a predetermined time is set in advance by the cutting material, and the time for starting the pulse control is advanced as shown at time T5 in FIG. Thus, by reducing the average current value of the heat input, it is possible to suppress excessive heat input. Conversely, in the case of a cutting material having a low thermal conductivity, the average current value can be increased by delaying pulse control and starting from time T6.
[0020]
Similarly, when the cutting speed recovers, if the thermal conductivity is high, the reduction of the pulse control is delayed as shown at time T8, the average current value of the heat input is lowered as shown by the broken line B4, and the heat conduction is reduced. When the property is low, it is possible to increase the average current value of the heat input amount as shown by the broken line B3 by accelerating the reduction of the pulse control and starting from time T7.
[0021]
As described above, the difference in cutting performance due to the difference in the thermal conductivity of the cutting material can be dealt with by advancing or delaying the time for starting or ending the pulse control. Therefore, the cutting performance can be further improved and a good cut surface can be obtained.
[0022]
Next, a second embodiment according to the present invention will be described. 3A and 3B are diagrams for explaining a case where a large number of small products are cut out from a large cutting material. FIG. 3A is an example of a cutting path, and FIG. 3B is a diagram illustrating an example of a pulse waveform.

In the above embodiment, it has been described that the maximum output current 1 is a constant determined by the cutting device (power supply) and cutting conditions. However, as shown in FIG. In the case where the cutting is performed across the board, that is, the cutting condition is changed, and an appropriate continuous output current value is changed.
[0026]
Conventionally, in such a case, the balance between the amount of heat input and the cutting speed is maintained by increasing the cutting speed from the

Also, in cutting that does not reach the reference speed from the start to the end of cutting, such as small circle processing, by controlling the arc current from the start to the end of the cutting, the amount of heat input is suppressed and a good cutting surface is obtained. Can be obtained.
[0032]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, in the plasma cutting method according to the present invention, in normal cutting, cutting is performed efficiently with continuous output, and when the cutting speed is reduced, the arc current is directly pulse-controlled to instantaneously Specifically, the amount necessary to raise the temperature to the point where combustion, melting, or evaporation occurs over the entire thickness direction of the workpiece is input, and at the next moment, the amount of heat input is reduced to reduce the workpiece. The operation of cooling is repeated. Therefore, cutting can be performed with a smaller amount of heat input, and excessive heat input is not caused even when the cutting speed is reduced.
[0033]
In addition, it is possible to cope with the difference in thermal conductivity of the cutting material by improving the cutting performance by advancing or delaying the time for starting or ending the pulse control of the arc current by a preset time. it can.
[0034]
Further, when cutting a portion that has already been heated by the previous cutting, the arc current is pulse-controlled to suppress thermal distortion, hardening, and wide range of tissue changes due to excessive heat input. Even in microfabrication or the like that does not increase the cutting speed, since the heat input does not become excessive due to pulse control, the cut portion does not self-combust and a good cut surface can be obtained.
