本発明は溶銑または溶鋼中に不活性ガスまたは不活性ガスと粉粒状精錬剤との混合物を吹込むためのガスおよび粉体吹込み用ランスパイプに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、使用されてきたこの種のランスパイプ構造について図1を用いて概略説明する。
通常、ランスパイプは取鍋等の容器内溶融金属浴中にガス又はガスと粉末の混合物(以下単にガスという)を吹込む際にノズル孔5よりのガス噴出時の脈動、あるいは噴出後に生ずる溶融金属の乱還流により、ランスパイプは極めて大きな外力を受ける。
そこで、この外力に耐えるためにガス導入管1を太くし、場合によってはリブを付ける等の補強をし、しかる後に適宜耐火物ライニングの補強スタッド6を溶接し、芯金の外周に耐火キャスタブルを施工して鋳込み成形体2としている。
ランスパイプは使用中、特にスラグによる浸食が大きいため、特にスラグライン部Aは鋳込み成形体2の外径をメタルライン部Bに比べ大きく構成し、耐火物の厚みを大きくとっている。又スラグライン部Aの鋳込み成形体2の材質を、スラグに対して耐食性の高い耐火材料に変更して部分的に強化した構成の鋳込み成形体2のランスパイプが一般的である。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら従来の構造のガス吹込み用ランスパイプは、まだスラグライン部Aの溶損が大きくガス導入管1の溶断、あるいは溶損部からのガス洩れ等によりランスパイプが使用不能となり、メタルライン部Bの耐火物(鋳込み成形体部)の残厚がありながら、ランスパイプの寿命を律速していた。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、従来の問題点の解決するためになされたもので、従来のガス吹込み用ランスパイプのスラグライン部Aに対スラグ耐食性の高い、アルミナ質材,アルミナ−マグネシア質材,アルミナ−スピネル質材,アルミナ−カーボン質材,アルミナ−マグネシア−カーボン質材,アルミナ−スピネル−カーボン質材,マグネシア−カーボン質材,炭化珪素質材等の定形耐火物4を配することを特徴とするガス吹込み用ランスパイプである。この定形耐火物4は、定形耐火物固定用金物3によって、芯金兼ガス導入管1に溶接固定されていることを特徴としている。

【実施例】
本発明の実施例について詳細に説明する。本発明の実施例を図2に示す。スラグイライン部Aに埋設する定形耐火物4は図3の拡大図の様に上端と下端を斜め構造としたあらかじめHIPまたはプレキャストとして成形した円筒状耐火物であり、ガス吹込み用ランスパイプのスラグライン部Aに外径450mm高さ500mmの形状で芯金兼ガス導入管1のスラグライン部Aに定形耐火物固定用金物3によって、定形耐火物4の上,下端の斜め構造にした部分の上,下をガス導入管1に溶接固定することによって、定形耐火物4が外周に脱落することを防ぎ、その後メタルライン部Bおよびスプラッシュ防止部の外径300mmを鋳込み成形体2によってガス吹込み用ランスパイプを製作した。なお、定形耐火物4は、定形耐火物4aの場合(図3)定形耐火物4bの場合(図4)とがある。

【発明の効果】
本発明によるガスおよび粉体吹込み用ランスパイプを、取鍋精錬において使用した結果、スラグライン部Aの溶損は従来品に比べ70%程度となり、定形耐火物は亀裂もなく、溶損も少ないため、芯金兼ガス導入管が溶断または破裂することもなく、平均寿命は従来品に比べ1.8倍の耐用を得ることが可能となった。
